The wife of popular Fuji musician, Shefiu Alao, popularly called ‘Original Omo Oko’ is dead.
PREMIUM TIMES learnt that Nimotalai Adekunle, died in Lagos.
Mrs. Adekunle had gone to Lagos from her home in Abeokuta to visit a family member. The mother of four reportedly arrived Lagos on Sunday, and shortly after dinner, complained of stomach upset.
She was rushed to hospital for treatment, but died at the hospital. Shefiu Alao’s home in Abeokuta was besieged by sympathisers on Tuesday.
The corpse of the deceased was brought to Abeokuta on Tuesday amidst tears from friends, family, and associates.
She was buried on Tuesday according to Islamic rites in Abeokuta.
