The actress is currently on location for a movie.
Popular Kannywood actress, Nafisa Abdullahi, who was recently suspended from taking part in movies by the Arewa Film Makers Association of Nigeria, AFMAN, has been recalled from suspension.
Nafisa was suspended for allegedly violating some of the association’s rules governing the conduct of artists in the Hausa movie industry. She was, among others, accused of organizing a party in Kaduna with some of her colleagues.
“The actress has apologised for her actions and on her behalf many people have spoken to the AFMAN to consider her and give her a second chance,” an official of the movie association told PREMIUM TIMES.
He emphasised that the association will not relent in making sure there is discipline in the industry.
While Nafisa would not speak on the recall, a close ally of the actress said, “Nafisa is a talent in the Kannywood. We her friends, colleagues and fans are so happy that she is back and I tell you people should be ready to see more of Nafisa’s great talent.”
Nafisa, who recently bagged the best supporting actress award in the 2013 City People Entertainment Awards, has since resumed work and is involved in the making of the movie ‘MAIFARIN JINI,’ currently being shot.
