The movie is shot in Kano, Kaduna, Abuja, and Sudan.
Top actors and actresses in Kannywood are currently on location for the shooting of what could be the first seasonal movie in the Hausa movie industry.
The movie, titled ‘YAMUTSIN RAYUWA’, is shot in various locations including Kaduna, Kano, Abuja, and Sudan with the shooting currently going on in Kaduna.
The producer of the movie, Wassh Waziri Hong, told PREMIUM TIMES that the project is ‘one of its kind.’
“I have always dream of producing such a movie where virtually all Kannywood celebrities will feature. It took me quite a while to develop the script but at least I have one and as you can see we are almost into the last part of the shooting,” he said.
Wassh also said the movie is focused on the usual obstacles and challenges of life faced by Nigerians.
“As the producer of the movie I also couldn’t resist been part of the film. The film is a one season movie with 26 episodes of one and a half hour each,” he said,
The producer said the making of the movie took him to Sudan, along with some Kannywood artists, to entertain the Sudanese and shoot some of the scenes.
Wash is one of Kannywood’s top producers and has produced and directed several Hausa movies including videos of top Hausa singer, Suleiman Sukus.
