Popular Yoruba actress, Toyin Adegbola aka ‘Ashewo to Re Mecca’, has been appointed as a board member of the Osun State Arts and Culture Council.
The light complexion actress will join fellow Yoruba movie actor and Araba of Osogbo, Ifayemi Elebuibon, who is the vice chairman of the board; and the Olu of Ila, Adetokunbo Abolarin, as Chairman. Other members are Chief Esuleke and Ajao Adelakun.
Toyin Adegbola, who once worked with Broadcasting Corporation Of Oyo State (BCOS), joins fellow movie practitioners like Richard Mofe Damijo, Okey Bakassi, Peter Fatomilola, and Bob-Manuel Udokwu who have been appointees of different government.
