The search will produce two ultimate champions.

The Gulder Ultimate Search 10, which is heading to Usaka forest in Obot Akara Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, will produce two ultimate champions at the end of the reality TV show.

This year’s edition of the search, the tenth, will be in two phases; the virtual phase and the regular jungle search.

For the virtual phase which is open to the public, participation will be via mobile phone and will be in two stages.

For the first stage, according to Walter Drenth, Marketing director, Nigerian Breweries, all a consumer has to do it buy a bottle of Gulder, check under the crown cork for a code, send the code to a designated short code to stand a chance of winning recharge cards.

The second stage would involve consumers providing correct answers to questions from clues related to the Gulder Ultimate Search 10 transmitted on TV.

“At the end of these interactions with the brand, and when the final anchor challenge is cracked, 12 contestants would be shortlisted for a one-day final search and the winner would be presented a brand new Mitsubishi Pajero 3.0 GLX MT coutsey CFAO motors Nigeria,” he said.

While the virtual phase of the search will hold from September 26 to October 23, the jungle escapades of this year’s contestants would be aired on national terrestrial and satellite TV stations from October 4 to October 31, 2013.

This year, 12 contestants of the 10th edition, themed ‘The 10th Symbol’, will lock horns for the grand prize of N10 million and a brand new Mitsubishi Pajero GLS AT SUV.

Other contestants (from fifth to 12th place) will cart home cash sums ranging from N1.7 million to N1 million, while the last female standing contestant will win N1 million in addition to her cash prize.
