The Yoruba lingo rapper released his first album last year.
Since releasing his debut album last year March, Remilekun Safaru, better known as ‘Reminisce’ has moved up the hierarchy of Nigerian rappers to be reckoned with in the music industry. He has since released a couple of singles in preparation for his second studio album.
The designers loving rapper has also released ‘ReMINISCE’ a prelude single to the official single, “BOBO”, of his album.
“Immediately we released the debut album, we began work on the second album which we have titled Alaye”, Ibrahim Okulaja, Reminisce’s manager told PREMIUM TIMES in a chat.
“Hopefully, the album will be a 10 tracker album with features from few relevant acts and production works from notable producers like Sarz, Sossick amongst others”, Ibrahim added.
Earlier in the year, the singer and Yoruba-lingo rapper released singles like ‘Nigboro’, ‘Olou’Nishola’, ‘Government’ ft Olamide,
‘Koboko’ all in the bid to prove critics wrong and further assure his fans that he is indeed the ‘king of the streets.’
Showing entrepreneurship spirit, Reminisce a.k.a ALAGA IBILE (King Of The Streets) also floated his own imprint, Les Roses Rouges (LRR) while still signed unto Edge Records; and he is set to release a new video to one of his hit singles, ‘Government’ which features fellow Yoruba –lingo rapper, Olamide.
“We have a lot of projects we are working on. We just finished some recording and we are still recording. The video to Government is ready and it would be released soon, expect greatness, So ti ye e!” Reminisce said through is manager.
