On June 28, the Green Afrique Network will host The African Environmental Action Summit, AEAS, at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The theme of the summit is ‘Green Nigeria, Green Africa, Green World’ and it is aimed at charting a clear course for the exploitation of Africa’s natural resources for sustainable development.
Speakers at the summit include Nigeria’s foremost green activists, Newton Jibunoh and Desmond Majekodumi, alongside the Director Regulatory and Government, Etisalat Nigeria, Ibrahim Dikko.
Other speakers are the CEO of Etisalat Nigeria, Hakeem Belo-Osagie; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gbenga Ashiru; the Publisher of The Guardian Newspapers, Maiden Ibru; the Director General Nigerian Conservation Foundation, Dr. Adeleke, and pastor of House on the Rock, Paul Adefarasin who will speak on Sustainable Development and Youth Engagement.
With the clear understanding that the future belongs to the youth, the organizers have also made room for the participation of young people via the iRave Nigeria. The iRave event will feature pop stars Tuface, Tiwa Savage and Vector.
