Snoop Lion thrills fans in South Africa

The rap icon performed both his reggae and rap songs.

Rap icon, Snoop Lion, aka Snoop Dogg, gave an unforgettable performance at the MTV Africa All Stars concert in Durban, South Africa as he thrilled fans with songs from his two alter egos.

The rapper turned reggae artiste on his arrival in South Africa, at a media meet and greet, had promised fans “the best of Snoop Dogg and Snoop Lion,” adding that he will be performing some of his greatest hits that pushed him to the top.

The crowd at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, People’s Park, Durban were not disappointed as they were treated to classic hits like Snoop Doggy Dogg, P.I.M.P, California Love, I Wanna Love You.

Snoop Lion also performed songs from his reggae inspired latest album, ReIncarnated.

He was later joined on stage by Nigerian popstar, Dbanj as they both performed the remix to Dbanj’s hit, Endowed.

There were also performances from some of Africa’s finest including 2Face, Dbanj, Fally Ipupa, Flavour, Zakes Bantwini, Professor, Zahara, Big Nuz and Camp Mulla.

DJs Caise and Cleo were also on ground to keep music lovers dancing through the night with a wide selection of both local and international music.

The MTV Africa All Stars concert was put together by MTV Base and Kwazulu-Natal Province.
