Copyright Society of Nigeria, COSON, inaugurates Foundation’s Board of Trustees

Juju music legend, Ebenezer Obey, will be the chairman of the board.

The Copyright Society of Nigeria, COSON Music foundation’s Board of Trustees will be inaugurated in Lagos on May 7 at the Protea Hotel, Lagos.

COSON Chairman , Tony Okoroji, will also use the occasion to give a comprehensive media briefing on the state of readiness of events lined up for the COSON week; and also unveil the trophy for society’s song awards.

Serving as chairman of the board is Juju music maestro, Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi, while respected music industry personalities like Victor Uwaifo, Edi Lawani, Toju Ejuyitchie and Osita Okeke will also serve on the board.

The Music Foundation, which will be formally launched at a special event tagged COSON Green Ball on May 22 at the Muson Centre in Lagos during the COSON week, is saddled with the responsibilities of prudent management of funds of the foundation.

Also as part of the week, May 19-25, the COSON awards will be staged at new ball room of the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
