Damoche tweeted about new single hours before he was killed

The Nigerian singer was preparing for a new single.

Less than 10 hours before he was shot dead, singer, Damoche, was on Twitter telling his fans to prepare for his forthcoming single.

“#Anticipate New Single Dropping Soon,” he tweeted.

Just before that, the final year Banking and Finance student of the Lagos State University, LASU, Ojo, also announced he would be in Ibadan in March for a concert.

“Damoche N Friends Ibadan Edition Coming In March Don’t Dull,” the artiste tweeted on his handle @damocheoboche

Born Damilola Olaniyan, the singer, according to his Twitter page, was signed to TMS Records.

His singles include Shake Your Bumbum, Fall in the Circle, and the popular Obo To She.

Damoche was on Thursday evening shot dead at the gate of the Lagos State University, LASU, Ojo, by suspected cultists. There are rumours that the celebrity belonged to a rival cult gang from his killers.

Reports say the Banking and Finance student at LASU had just finished writing a test and was about to leave the school when he was attacked.
