Nollywood actor, Femi Brainard, quits bachelorhood

The couple met when at an official interview session.

One of Nollywood’s most eligible bachelors, Femi Brainard, quit the bachelors club on Saturday when he wedded Top Radio On-air-personality, Uche Nwokocha.

The couple, who met after an interview conducted by Nwokocha at Top Radio, Ikeja, Lagos, performed their traditional wedding ceremony at the bride’s hometown in Imo State.

Soft spoken Brainard, one of the scandal-free actors in Nollywood, can be classified as a veteran actor. Although a regular face on a number of TV series, the most popular being Tajudeen Adepetu’s family drama-Everyday People- he is also one of the few Nollywood actors that regularly feature in Yoruba movies.

Besides her day job as a radio presenter, Nwokocha was once a contestant in the Amstel Movie Box Office (AMBO) reality in 2008 and placed fourth in the competition. She has a degree in Cell Biology in Genetics from the University of Lagos.
