Paschal went home with N9.5 million and a car.
Paschal Eronmose Ojezele has won the ninth season of the adventure-based Gulder Ultimate Search TV reality show.
The 24-year-old, who narrowly edged out Onyinye Udodi- last female contestant standing in the competition, was crowned winner Saturday evening at the reveal party which took place at the Le Meridien Hotel, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Ojezele was the first contestant to discover the ‘The Gate Keeper’s Fortune’ after a series of twists, turns and riddles dished out by host Chidi Mokeme.
Before discovering the Gate Keeper’s Fortune, Ojezele faced stiff competition from the final four contenders, Paschal, Onyinye, James Adah and Nuhu Zigwayi.
The hunt for the treasure began in the morning when all four, who had spent the night at an old oil mill, were directed to assemble at the mouth of an old fire bridge.
After travelling for hours, they arrived at the location where they were subjected to their first challenge.
As this year’s winner, Ojezele was handed N9 million cash price, a brand new 2012 SUV and a N500 thousand ‘swagger allowance’.
The first runner-up, Onyinye, settled for a N3 million prize money and an additional N1 million as the last female contestant standing.
Other contestants who had earlier been evicted on the programme were: Uzor Osimpka, Ifet Iniobong, Priscillia Ezeh, Michael Ogbuefi, Patience Bornford, Ujam Emmanuel, Ayo Ojueromi and Kofya Brown.
