Pasuma says he is still loyal to KWAM 1
The stories of an ongoing cold war brewing between Fuji artistes, Alabi Pasuma and KWAM 1 has graced major headlines in recent times, but there appears to be a new dimension to the story; Pasuma is currently alleged to be in a steaming relationship with KWAM 1’s daughter, Wasilat.
Reacting to the story in a chat with journalists, the singer, who has a penchant for luxury cars, described the reports as the funniest thing he has ever heard in his entire life.
He said, “Why on earth would anyone even bring his daughter into this issue? To be frank, there is no Iota of truth in the allegation.
“There is no misunderstanding between Pasuma and K1 so I don’t understand why people just want to create a big deal out of nothing. Bringing an innocent young girl into this is an insult to the father and he detests the carriers of such information in its entirety.
“Must people be so shallow minded and irresponsible to make such comment? His daughter should be left out of this because in no way does she have anything to do with her father’s career,” Pasuma said.
He defended the reason he publicly denounced the Arabambi title and proclaimed himself Oganla 1 of Fuji music at the 70th birthday party of veteran actress, Idowu Phillips, popularly known as Mama Rainbow.
He also defended the decision to create his own identity after many years of his affiliation with Arabambi (a group created by KWAM 1).
“I have my reasons for leaving Arabambi to create my own identity. At every point in our lives we are expected to achieve certain things and no matter how reluctant you are you will surely do according to God’s will,” Pasuma said.
He said Oganla means boss of all bosses.
“God used me to create a family and has made me the leader of the family and the family is Oganla,” he said.
The singer said he feels this is the right time to create his identity.
“This is the new Pasuma and you have to accept it, the way I present it to you .I remain 100 per cent loyal to KWAM 1. As a matter of fact Oganla is affiliated to Arabambi except that I no longer bear the name Arabambi 2 but Oganla 1”.
The Fuji crooner said his new identity is his new year resolution.
