Abdullahi Sule has been appointed the acting Group Managing Director of Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc, the nation’s biggest sugar company.
The appointment, which became effective October 23, was contained in the company’s notice to the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Friday.
The company said the appointment was approved by its board at its meeting of October 23.
The appointment was part of Dangote Sugar’s ongoing repositioning of operations toward the targeted 1.5 metric tonnes of sugar per annum, the company said.
The company’s overhaul is also geared toward increased employment generation and provision of power to two operational sites at Adamawa and Taraba states.
