Dangote’s share price rose from N235.00 to N239.50.
Dangote Cement topped the gainers chart, gaining N4.50 after Tuesday’s trading on the Nigerian Stock Exchange as its share price rose from N235.00 to N239.50. It was followed by Unilever, which gained N2.20 closing at N53.50, up from N51.30.
Zenith Bank was third on the top five gainers chart, recording a N0.20 share price gain, as it closed at N20.90, up from N20.70. Fidelity Bank came fourth, recording a share price gain of N0.17 and closed at N2.25 from N2.08. FMBH also gained N0.15 and closed at N12.75 from N12.90 before trading.
UAC-PROP topped the losers chart at the close of the day’s trading with a N0.72 share price loss. The firm’s share price closed at N20.00 down from N20.72. The firm was followed by Nigerian Breweries, which lost N0.61, closing at N146.39 down from N147.00 before transactions. Eterna lost N0.17 and closed at N3.53 down from N3.70. Japaul Oil also lost N0.02 and closed at N0.54, down from N0.56 while Josbrew’s share price closed at N4.16, losing N0.00, after the day’s trading session, as it opened with N4.16.
The value of transactions after trading stood at 90.9 million after trading recorded in 296 deals. The volume of transactions stood at 9.39 million after the day’s transactions. The Exchange’s market capitalisation stood at 12.62 trillion while the Exchange’s All Share Index, ASI, stood at 39, 298.37 after the day’s trading.
AFRIPRUD led the top five most traded shares after Tuesday’s transactions as it traded 3,571,585 shares valued at N12.9 million. WAPIC came second, trading 900, 810 shares valued at N873.4 million. FBNH came third, trading 798, 523 shares valued at N10.312 million. Fidelity traded 620, 795 shares valued at N1.396 million while UBCAP traded 439, 100 shares valued at N1. 128 million.
