Airtel is most engaging brand on Facebook.
Social Bakers, a leading global provider of social media analytic tools, statistics and metrics for Facebook, has rated Airtel Nigeria as the best brand in its Engagement Rate.
Facebook Engagement Rate measures how well fans interact with the content an organization or brand posts on the popular, social media platform.
It also provides the platform for users to share comments or express their feeling about a post of a particular brand to the total number of fans of the brand at the time it was posted.
In its verdict on Airtel, which is reputed to be one of Nigeria’s leading telecommunications company, the global social media analytics company said Airtel crossed the 500,000 fans’ mark on the popular social media platform.
“Airtel currently has the most engaging page, and the third most popular Facebook page in Nigeria,” Social Bakers said.
In the report published online on the Social Bakers Corporate Website, http://www.socialbakers.com/facebook-statistics/nigeria, Social Baker said Airtel scored the highest engagement rate in Nigeria, with a 78 per cent engagement rate, apart from recording a large fan base of 512,566.
The report, which focused on Nigeria’s top ten brands on Facebook, featured GTBank, MTN, Airtel Nigeria, Nokia Nigeria, Etisalat Nigeria, The First Group, Heineken, Always Nigeria, Samsung Mobile Nigeria and Konga.com.
