The Nigerian Stock Exchange will re-open on Thursday.
The Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE, has closed trading for the day to resume on Thursday, December 27, 2012.
The Head, Media Relations of the NSE, Wole Tokede, said the Exchange’s activities is usually aligned in accordance with the Federal Government’s laid down holidays.
“We work in accordance with the Federal Government’s given holiday. There would be no trading tomorrow and on Wednesday. There would be trading on Thursday. There won’t be trading on the 1st of January and if the Federal Government declares 2nd a public holiday, there won’t be trading too,” he said.
The exchange closed trading at about 12:30 pm today and is expected to commence trading on Thursday.
