Osaze took to twitter to respond to his exclusion from the Super eagles

Nigeria and West Bromwich Albion striker, Osaze Odemwingie, who was left out of the Super Eagles team for the African Nations Cup, took to twitter on Sunday to react to his exclusion.

Osaze, who has had a torrid time with Nigerian football authorities said he was not surprised to have been ignored from the National team, blaming it on the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, and the Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi.

“On my not inclusion to the eagles list i am not surprised. Not surprised Keshi and NFF couldn’t tell me themselves. No personality’ he tweeted.

The Striker claimed efforts were not made to resolve the rift he has with football administrators.

“ I ask my self – do we not have a team captain and federation who can tell its common sense ? And settle the matter? Na wow oh,” he said.

Osaze accused the NFF of poor administration.

”Nff spokesman told MTN he is arrogant? I am arrogant ? Why did countries president (Jonathan) threaten to close down our federation for two years?’

The former Nigerian player of the year said he was not bothered by the non-invitation.

“Keshi has no footballing reasons not to invite me but is not saying the truth. He s still in my plans he said haha coach u no dey my plans,” he said.

Osaze, alongside Obafemi Martins of Levante, and left full back, Taiye Taiwo, were three prominent names omitted from the Super Eagles line-up

In reacting to Osaze’s statements in a telephone interview with PREMIUM TIMES, Keshi said, “I did not invite Osaze Odemwingie to Cup of Nations only because I don’t need him now.”
