Eagles arrive Miami ahead of Venezuela friendly

The Super Eagles gear up to tackle Venezuela

The Super Eagles on Monday arrived in Miami, Florida, United States for the international friendly against Venezuela, scheduled for Wednesday.

The team, which was led by the President of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, Aminu Maigari, and included Technical Committee Chairman, Chris Green, departed the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos at about 10:40p.m. on Sunday night

They arrived at Atlanta City at about 11a.m. on Monday morning.

After completing immigration formalities, the team boarded a Delta Airline connecting flight. They finally arrived Miami at 4:20p.m. Nigerian time (8:20a.m. in Miami) and were met by match organizers, who immediately took them to their abode at Intercontinental at Doral in Miami.

The team is expected to have its first training by 7:20p.m.Miami time, close to the 8p.m. Miami time that the game on Wednesday will be played.

The Head Coach, Stephen Keshi, has been upbeat about the game and declared that he expects all the players invited by latest Tuesday morning.

“I’m happy at the weather and all the wind cheaters we brought here may not be useful,” Warri Wolves hitman, Sunday Mba, said.
