The crisis rocking the Ondo State All Progressives Congress came to the fore on Thursday as top officials of the party including President Muhammadu Buhari were absent from a scheduled rally.

The rally was organised by the Ondo APC to flag off the campaign of Rotimi Akeredolu, its candidate for the November 26 governorship election in the state.

As predicted by PREMIUM TIMES, apart from Mr. Buhari, other notable absentees were Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Lagos governor Bola Tinubu, and governor of neighbouring Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola.

The event commenced on Thursday morning at the Democracy Park in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Introducing the dignitaries present in order of protocol, the National Organising Secretary of the APC, Osita Izunaso, said Mr. Osinbajo was represented by his Chief of Staff.

Some serving ministers are also present at the rally.

      EDITOR SIR,

What is the legal meaning of Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria?
Where is that post written in the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria? There’s no post,
or office so described, in the laws of Nigeria. President Buhari says he’s set to
announce the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria today, without mentioning the person.

President Buhari might have a terribly bad ulterior motive.
President Buhari should thus be called to order. He’s been suspected of
looking only for Muslims to fill 99% of government posts. That suspicion
lingers, because he’s now virtually and illegally created a non-existent post
of Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria.

Nigeria is not a caliphate of Muslims. Nigeria is not a playground of
Hausa/Fulani Muslims. President Buhari has a tribalistic worldview and he
divides Nigerians along religious and ethnic lines. Buhari may face a revolt
if he bypasses Justice Walter Onnoghen.

“The crisis rocking the Ondo State All Progressives Congress came to the fore on Thursday”

‘crises Rocking the Ondo state APC’??
LOL! Does PT mean crises rocking ondo APC or CRISES ROCKING APC as a whole??
    Ahahahahaha!!
It appears it’s only PT and the e-zombies that are yet to realise the magnitude of the crises in APC. They should ask their gOD Tinubu what he now thinks about the APC scam ‘change’!
What I find baffling is why the e-rats are surprised at the AWOL of Tinubu and his henchmen. For crying out loud, even Aisha buhari has declared to have NOTHING to do with the APC contraption!
    R.I.P APC!
    A-fee-C ya mutu kwatakwata!

They came together in many folds and scattered in different directions.

I strongly believed Donald Trump will reorder Tinubu drugs investigations soon.

    • Opekete

America is a nation of law. The president is not a dictator so he cannot just order any institution around to do what is illegal and unconstitutional. If you have stomach rumbling about Tinubu you better go take some laxatives. It will do you a world of good.

Her Royal Cluelessness Hillary Clinton will really be crying when she
finds out that a special prosecutor has been appointed to look into her
        transgressions.

Watch out after Hilaryfraud next is Tinubu

The election is over and Trump has moved on, don’t forget things work in the US.

“he is yet to tell me, but I have decided as his wife, that if things continue like this up to 2019, I will not go out and campaign again and ask any woman to vote like I did before. I will never do it again “. Aisha Buhari

    APC is dead.

Tinubu party in South West state if flagging off a campaign and the man is not there. Less than 2 years of the party winning the presidency. And the party chairman think he is on top of the situation, that nothing is wrong. The man should have a sober reflection. Buhari, Osinbajo, Saraki, Atiku, Tinubu, Business Akande. The reminders are feather weights that don’t have the muscle to deliver. Unless the election is rigged, there is no way Akeredolu can win the election.

  • KBE

What about Saraki and Dogara that were advertised to be there. One thing is now clear there is a big division..Olounimbe Mamora a supposedly Tinubu’s man was also present and even sang songs of war. The battle line is drawn.. Amosu, Niyi Adebayo and Ajimobi are set to challenge their godfather Tinubu. The coming months and years will be interesting.
