More Nigerians, Thursday, continued to sign the condolence register opened for the late Governor of Kaduna State, Patrick Yakowa.

Mr. Yakowa died alongside five others when a naval helicopter he was travelling in crashed in Bayelsa State on Saturday.

A condolence register has since been opened for him at the Government House in Kaduna.

One of those who signed the register on Thursday is the Presidential Candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria in the last elections, Nuhu Ribadu. Mr. Ribadu described the late governor as a man who strived to unite his people.

Mr. Yakowa was buried in his country home in Kaduna on Thursday in a ceremony attended by hundreds of people including President Goodluck Jonathan, lawmakers, governors, and ministers.

My condolence to the family of Mr. Yakowa. I am so sorry to hear about your loss and I would like to offer you my condolences. I can understand your frustrations and pains in your heart with this world and why we should have hope because I used to feel the same way. But keep in mind that God is always there to keep us going and He will never leave us especially in times like this.
