Carelessness, of the driver, the road safety officers, and the police. Did anybody not see the truck driving against traffic, why was he not stopped? As we talk now vehicles, trucks are moving against the traffic, people see them and say nothing, without considering the dangers on the the persons on the road. So many lives are lost on the road in the country because of the indeference of the people and the ‘ I don’t care’ attittude of the the law enforcement officers. People break the laws, because they can bribe their way easily. If a driver who drives against traffic is given a three years mandatory prison sentence, no driver will drive against traffic again, peoples lives will no longer waste carelessly.

For the deceased victims it doesn’t matter the plate number of the truck that ran them over.

We behave in this country as though deprivation(of every thing) is a much needed oxygen.
Should people look on when wrongs are done? Should we wail after the deed has been done?
This Dangote deaths are gradually looking like rituals. I don’t know how these killings will continue and not one is said to be facing prosecution.

Dangote is lucky that the accident did not happen in the US and did not kill United States citizens. Dangote should have gone out of business following the law suit that would been instituted on his driver and his company. It should have been a bonanza for US attorneys.

In Nigeria, the citizens do not know their rights. Attorneys in Nigeria may not even see this big bonanza either.
