Tinubu speaks on Akeredolu’s victory in Ondo

Bola Tinubu
Bola Tinubu

A former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu, on Sunday congratulated Rotimi Akeredolu, the winner of the governorship election in Ondo State.

Mr. Tinubu had been opposed to Mr. Akeredolu’s emergence as candidate of their party, APC, alleging irregularities in the party’s primaries.

The former governor and his key supporters were conspicuously absent during Mr. Akeredolu’s campaign rallies.

However, on Sunday, few hours after Mr. Akeredolu was declared winner by the electoral commission, INEC, Mr. Tinubu asked party members to close ranks “for the good of our party and its progressive ideals.”

Read Mr. Tinubu’s full statement below:

Following the announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) with regard to the governorship elections in Ondo State, I extend congratulations to Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN. on the outcome of the election and for his perseverance and persistence in seeking that office.

I must also congratulate the people of Ondo State for their generally exemplary conduct on election day and for demonstrating their will to shun the regressive politics of yesterday by returning to the progressive brand of politics that has been the trademark of the people of that state.

I congratulate all party members in the state, particularly the party leadership in the Southwest.

Finally, I must express profound congratulations to President Muhammadu Buhari, the national leader of the party, whose stature and dignity helped guide the APC to another victory that should advance the progressive aims of the party and the people.

To all the people and parties in Ondo, your election has been had and held. Now is the time that all must work for the continued development, prosperity and peace of your state and our beloved country.

I appeal to all party members including those who have been disaffected from the primary until today to come together for the good of our party and its progressive ideals.

  • Ajayi Ifayemi

    Way to go Jagaban!

    • FuzzyLogic

Outnumbered lions sometimes become dinner for hyenas. the Hausa/Fulani have finally cracked the code. The next stop is Ekiti, where again Fayose will be replaced not by Tinubu’s candidate or that of another Yoruba power broker but by the candidate of Arewa. You get my drift.

      • Ajayi Ifayemi

We don’t think like that. The battle in Ondo was amongst brothers. They settle after it is all said and done. Just sit down and watch classic politics play out. Our political opponents are not necessarily our enemies. Tinubu is a progressive, Akeredolu is a progressive. In the end Ondo will still move on whoever wins. I thank the Jagaban for playing the right tune once the election is over.

        • agbaje isaac

Am strong, am height l can, else God say yes, we are all try ,God is the answer of our tongue surely God has dib it for aketi ,,,jagaban must learn too no body like god

        • FuzzyLogic

Quite the contrary. Political disputes are always settled by violence in the SW. Look at history, with all due respect.

          • Abdulmojeed Nojeemdeen

            Like in the Niger Delta?

      • Samadani

With the Yoruba/ Hausa-Fulani accord, the SE will never smell Aso rock until eternity! Bwahahahahaha!

        • FuzzyLogic

And the Yoruba will continue to be the Hausa/Fulani lap dog. They will select your leaders for you as they just did in Ondo. That is modern slavery.

          • Julius

And you will still be carying to the UN for your biafraud.

      • Julius

And you will still be crying and fake ranting about your failed miserable project called biafraud. Right ?

        • FuzzyLogic

At least we can hire and fire our leaders by ourselves. If you lose this ability then you don’t even have the power to look me in the face. Google ‘Open letter to asiwaju Tinubu’ by one your brothers who knows where all these are headed.

          • Julius

There you go again. Who have you hired and fired in biafraud land ? The same people stealing you blind while you are busy hating on Tinubu ? You are making me laugh. Did you hire Orji Kalu and fired him ?lolz

          • FuzzyLogic

Ojukwu prosecuted the civil war on our behalf but when he came back to lead us as a politician we told him no. Remember he lost his Senatorial bid under NPN. This is not unlike what the British did after the 2nd World war when they refused to re-elect their war time leader Winston Churchill. In Imo State, Mr. Ohakim, an incumbent governor was peaceful voted out, Senator Nzeribe was peacefully voted out. Orji Kalu was a term limited governor who finished his term. His recent activities have are his own. He is a free citizen and free to run his life how he sees fit just like every other person.
Go and check, incidence of corruption is least in the SE amongst all the regions. Someone like Tinubu, a well known drug baron (Google: “Nigerian Pres’ Svengali” would never be elected dog catcher in Igboland.)

          • Julius

Yepper, you are indeed delusional but, what else is new with you people . Kalu stole you blind but, na Tinubu be your problem. Bunch of see no evil, hear no evil but evil itself !

          • FuzzyLogic

There is no one in Igboland lining up behind him in his new travail. I am not denying that he was a thief. He was governor of a state and that is it. He is not an Igbo leader the way Tinubu is to Yorubas.

          • Julius

My bad, I forgot that kanu who is in a cage in prison is your leader. Got ya !!

          • FuzzyLogic

He has more guts than Brig. Oladipo Diya who is a poster child for Yoruba courage. DId you see how he begged the maximum ruler for his life. That image would hunt you forever.
Kanu knew what he was walking into when he flew directly to the ‘lions’ den to dear the ‘lion’ to do his worst. They are making him larger than life with the passage of every second he spends in their custody. Kanu was a no body until your misguided leader started foaming in the mouth.

          • Julius

how many people did Diya sent to their early grave ny sending them on a suicide mission ? I guess Ojukwu was so brave in doing that, right ? Dude, he ran away with his family. What did that tells you ? Kanu was caught in the hotel room with an underage girl. He was giving away by his own people as Ibos tends to do. Yea he is larger than life in a cage. Thats Ibo for you calling while a black.

          • FuzzyLogic

Continue to read those fake news. The greatest crowd ever to assemble at the Murtala Mohammed International airport in Lagos, was the one that came to welcome Ojukwu back. He outsmarted Gowon in Aburi. He denied Gowon and Obasanjo that pleasure of receiving armistice directly from him. He used his fathers vast wealth to prosecute the war. That is why he is number one in Igboland.
Yoruba resistance would not last for more than a week if the forces (the rest of Nigeria, Britain, US, Russia, the Arab league, OAU) arrayed against Biafra were meant to put down a Yoruba rebellion.

          • Julius

Hahahahahaha, yea, he also denied Effiong shooting his coward ass by running away in the middle of the night by informing him few minutes before taking off. He came back fighting for his fathers house but, ignored the biafraud veterans. Most of them ended up homeless and drug addicts. What a leader.

          • FuzzyLogic

Now you acknowledge that your people cornered Igbo properties in Lagos also. This is interesting. It is only the less fortunate that would want to appropriate what does not belong to them. Don’t worry, start getting ready for your life to really take off by the time Igbos leave Lagos. For that is your only hope of ever becoming rich.
Benjamin Adekunle that carried the war on his head as if he was fighting against people that raped his mother died a church rat. By the way after Ironsi was murdered in Ibadan the next person in the military chain of command was one Brigadier Babatunde Ogundipe, the Chief of Staff, Supreme Headquarters. Do you know what he did? While Ojukwu was canvassing for him to take over, as head of state, the poor guy fled to Cameroon and flew to London from there. Cowardice is really in the blood.

  • FuzzyLogic

Lick your wounds, lion of bourdillon. Outnumbered and de-fanged ‘lions’ sometimes end up in the belly of hyenas.

    • Dagashhh

      “de-fanged ‘lions'”? Bwahahahahahaha!!!

  • Sean

    Shameless Man!!

  • Tyler

Nice one Jagaban. That’s how real men roll. Lose, congratulate and move on because at the end of the day, you win some you lose some.

    • FuzzyLogic

More like putting him in his place.
His party won, so why are you calling it a loss unless there something else you know that we do not know.

      • Tyler

Lwtmb!!!! see as this flatheaded monster carry Tinubu matter for head like orange 😄 The man has sent your hero back to where he came from since 2015. MOVE THE FVNCKK ON! Heck! he doesn’t even know you.

        • FuzzyLogic

Ekiti state is the next humiliation if he fails to learn the lesson. I have no dog in the game. That is why I can see every move clearly just like in a chess game.
I don’t need to get in the gutter with you.

          • Tyler

Lwtmb!!! so you’ve finally switched your beef from vs APC to vs Tinubu. LOSERS!!! As if that will restore your hero. I can see y’all PDP goons clutching at straws 😄 You should be more worried about the death of your party in the SW than Tinubu. People that will still drink Gulder together lol

          • FuzzyLogic

Because you are slow of learning, that is why I have to call a spade a spade so that you can understand. Obviously you can not read between the lines.

          • Tyler

100% with you on the fact that Hunger does not respect party affiliation, ethnic origin, religion, or status. So what has that got to do with your hate for Tinubu? Why Tinubu? Why not Buhari?

          • Samadani

Because he is a front burner in sending dumbo back to the creeks. I cherished that! Hahahahaha!

          • Julius

You have to understand that Ibos are a jealous and hateful bunch. If you doing better than them, they will put you down. Tinubu hasnt done anythinng to them but winning so, thery hate him. Thats why they will remain where they are in the country. Just a pest, a bug that must be stepped on.

          • FuzzyLogic

Because without Tinubu, Buhari would have continued to contest for the presidency ad-infinitum without success. That is why.
Take a look, everything that happened in his first outing as president is happening again. Currency controls, price controls, food rationing, tribalism and regionalism, religious fanaticism, nepotism, etc, etc.

          • Julius

Tinubu is killing you losers daily. Wish you have somebody like him in your hell hole. Hatred and jealousy on display each time Tinubu does something. Its so sad !

        • Julius

What do you expect from a biafraudian ?

      • Julius

lolz, Ibo mannnnnn. Yes, and Trump will come and safe you in biafraud. Abi

        • FuzzyLogic

Ibos have never relied on outside forces to deliver them. During the Biafran war, Ojukwu rebuffed all entreaties to mortgage the Oil wells in Biafraland in exchange for massive military support but he turned them down. We have that ‘Can do’ spirit. That is what people like you will never understand.

          • Julius

You are a born lazy liar. Ojukwu was offering oil wells to anybody that will listen to him. Read your history or better yet, talk to an elder, if you have one that will tell you the truth. Oh, my bad, I forgot you have none or care for history or the truth. Smdh !

          • FuzzyLogic

I don’t have to argue with a revisionist like you. The history books are there for you to read. This is one of the well documented criticisms of Ojukwu’s handling of the war. Unlike Nigeria that ceded off Bakassi and signed a fraudulent steel project at Ajaokut with the Russians that is still bleeding Nigeria $Billions today, more than 50 years later without producing anything. Ojukwu refused to do that.

  • Isaac Azor

    Better for you, Tinubu

    • Abidilagungun

Now, he can see that the APC they founded is the Arewa Peoples Congress!

  • Arabakpura

Hope the Jagaban had learnt a good lesson! There is no reason to carry the carcass of an elephant on your head and at the same time use your toes to scratch the ground for cricket; you could lose both!

    • FuzzyLogic

If you want to cut a king down to size, you divide his kingdom. That was exactly what happened here. The Hausa/Fulani know this but regrettably, their counterparts in the SW do not. Now they will have to do the bidding of the master in their diminished status.

      • Arabakpura

But the Jagaban is not king per se but could have been seen to look like a king if he played well! APC votes in the SW that gave Buhari victory showed that he was not yet king but could be king! He truncated that by igniting the tyranny of the followership!

  • Abidilagungun

Tinubu has finally come to terms with the fact that Buhari does not need him to win the southwest in 2019, all PMB has to do is find enough footsoldiers in fayemi and jimoh Ibrahim

    • Otile

You mean enough traitors, of course there are abundant traitors in Yoruba land.

      • Julius

More in biafraud where you sell to the highest bidder. Give an Ibo man some money and he will sell his mother and sisters. We all know that . Fact !!

    • Samadani

Na lie! We in the north know quite well the role Asiwaju played for successful emergence of Buhari first as the flag bearer of APC and finally as president. We will continue to warn PMB to be wary of the so called foot soldiers who do not own any electoral value so that he is not cajoled to failure. Up Jagaban!

      • Cleartruth

Keep deluding yourself . Dalung said apc can do without tinubu and they have proven it in ondo . They won even when tinubu worked against them.

    • Abdulmojeed Nojeemdeen

      Wake up,it is 10am

    • Julius

      You must be on cracks.

  • absam777

Take heart Jagaban all is not lost. You just have to learn how to play the divide and rule game like the Fulanis. No one should ever think that it is not possible. Afterall, OBJ did it and successfully won his second term and nearly had the third term in his pocket. A rich and successful Lagos State alone is enough to take on the weak and poor federal government. Let the real political game begin for 2019.

  • Otile

Where is Matthew Aremu Obasanjo in all this?

    • Julius

He is in biafraud…getting another surrender papers !. The king and the conquerier of the biafraudians !! lolz

  • Adam A

Thank u Sir our dear Jagaban Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu. We in the north will always rever u for ur democratic and progressive ideals. U re one our Leaders so forget d little misunderstanding and let’s forge together as it were. Long live Sir

    • Abdulmojeed Nojeemdeen

      Gbam!

  • Festus O.Akinlade

Tinubu remains a colossus no matter what anybody may say, though may have his bad side like every human being because no one can claim to be a saint. His legacy as a former governor is Lagos state has made Lagos the envy of other states. Development never stops and it’s fairly distributed, people oriented and there is continuity. In my own state, Ogun, projects are located based on sentiments, and all those perceived by the power that be as not voting for him are denied dividends of democracy. While abandoned projects are scattered all over the state , new ones that are not even necessary are embarked upon for reasons best known to them while those that will contribute to economic and social life of the helpless masses are wickedly ignored. Power is transient and history will judge all of us accordingly and at the right time.

  • Papillon Noir

Thank you Jagaban for congratulating a fellow progressive you are indeed, the Asiwaju. South West please look inward work on exporting Cocoa to surpass Cote D Ivoire and Ghana. Abraham, Jegede all sons of Oduduwa please work together to reduce the poverty ravaging the people. We remember Awolowo for what he did for the rapid progress of Yoruba land he never went to the centre (charity begins at home) but it does not matter please progress the grassroots children and perhaps one of them will go to the centre to make Nigeria proud

    • FEMI A

      Good talk. Keep it up.

  • Mama Kay

I don’t understand why the PDP e-rats are rattled by the action of Tinubu.

The SW voted for Buhari on merit not ethnicity. Of what use was the Niger Deltan to his people who voted on ethnicity. Potable water was not even provided for them.

Civilised people look beyond ethnicity and support what is good for them. Until Buhari starts to enrich himself at the expense of the masses, he will continue to enjoy the support of rational Nigerians.

    • Aminu Baba

      Spot on!

    • Julius

Because they have nobody as smart as him among themselves. Its jealousy and hatred. Simple !

  • Lanre

I think Bola Tinubu should ask himself why Akeredolu lost the first time around when he (Tinubu) supported him. Enough lessons to go round for those willing to learn!

    • Boss

May be you are not from Ondo State so let me explain it to you. In 2012, the civil servants were behind Mimiko as a solid voting block. As soon as he won the re-election, he turned on the civil servants. He focused development projects in Akure and Ondo and neglected the South and North Senatorial districts. An oil producing state that owed civil servants six months salary, but he got the money for stomach infrastructure and diverted all the money to election. Ondo people know that Jegede is not a politician and he was being used by Mimiko to elongate his tenure just to cover up his mountain of misdeeds. About 10 LGAs are now without electricity (taken off the national grid) but Mimiko didn’t care as Ondo and Akure had electricity. From the beginning, the election was for APC to loose. Can you imagine how big the gap would have been if APC did not have the primary problem?
      Congratulations Akeredolu.

      • Aminu Baba

Thanks, @Boss, Iam now better informed

      • Julius

Well stated. We need to start playing politics base on results. I think this is what Ondo people just did. Congrats to them.

  • Observer

I still respect Jagaban.. He is a wise leader.. For congratulating Akeredolu and calling for others to support his administration portrays the dude as a wise leader.. He must have learned from his mistakes. And I’m glad that even PMB durung his congratulatory message to Akeredolu, he implored the dude to seek unity w8th everyone, which was a mesaage designed for his fall out with Tinubu, and Tinubu also shew respect to PMB in his own message to Akeredolu. Nice one

  • tunde

Did i not comment and did tell the public to stay away from party-infighting,cross carpets etc few days ago?In fact, there many lessons to be learned from various party bigwigs incidents that transpired before Ondo gubernatorial election.God Bless Nigeria!

  • princegab

The beautiful democratic display in ondo guber election is largely due to the jagaban’ s sagacity. Good job.

    • kunle1234

Which sagacity?. For openly attacking his party chairman and calling him to resign?

      • princegab

That is democracy in action , boy. That’s the way it should be. Please emulate the jagaban for advancement. You don’t like the way thing are going? Say so!!!!!!

      • Julius

        Democracy…remember ?

    • Cleartruth

Your perpectual worship of tinubu is making you think and talk like a moron.

      • Aminu Baba

Yeah, @Cleartruth, like TB Joshua’s worshippers

      • princegab

Jagaban is an institute, please study him. No stopping him, mind you. The SW, as the pillar of Nigeria’s advancement has long becomes jagaban responsibility. Worship it!!!
        Apc, pmb and jagaban kudos.

      • Julius

And your jealousy and hatred makes you talk and think like a delusional jack-ass.

  • Babrutus

So now APC is supposedly the party of progressives???

    • Samadani

      And PDPigs, the retrogressives?

      • Babrutus

        Lol…

      • Babrutus

        Wawoo!

  • Man_Enough

Fani kayode, please lead the war!

  • Nkem

Sharp guy. For Tinubu, this appears to be a win win situation. The strategy was always – work against the man so that when he loses, they will know how important I am. If he wins, then rally the troops around him so that we will continue to be relevant. The same troops you should have rallied when the guy needed them most. So this is like eating your cake and still having it.

    • Idowu Fashakin

      @disqus_llPIQ7cNxP:disqus

Bola Tinubu fails a test of common sense

You are right. But the truth is that Bola Tinubu is the biggest loser of the Ondo state election.
His anointed candidate was defeated. His APC party campaigned and won despite his opposition and
without his involvement with the ROTIMI AKEREDOLU CAMPAIGN. So which come together is Tinubu
now talking about? This sort of almost plagiarized press statement Bola Tinubu issued is very useless
and irrelevant. It has meaning only after PRIMARIES ELECTION in the APC, not after a general election.
Bola Tinubu failed common sense test when he refused to issue this statement after the APC primaries.

      • Ima

Plagiarized from where? Bola Tinubu did not plagiarize this speech. He may have been

plagiarizing other people before today but that doesn’t mean he has plagiarized this one.
The real English to use is that Bola Tinubu allowed himself to be inspired by the speech
of Hilary Clinton, which he now joined with the rallying call of Donald Trump. Is it an offence
to be inspired again? Next time you must write that Bola Tinubu was inspired by America.

        • Bamboo

          @disqus_llPIQ7cNxP:disqus: Thank you jare!

People don’t know that Bola Tinubu thinks like an American. This is a man who went to the
best school in America called University of Chicago, an Ivy League university,
and who also got a big license as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the
same America. What do you expect from such a genius but to think alike with
Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, George Bush and Barack Obama.

To my own mind it is
only because Bola Tinubu does not know his own value that he is even losing
election all over the place in a rural country like Nigeria. Bola Tinubu is too
much for Nigeria. He should contest U.S presidential election and win all the 50
states from Wyoming to North Dakota hands down. But see the same Bola Tinubu
losing simple election in Ondo state. What for? He caused this thing for
himself. He is a shy man. He did not want to be too proud and that’s why he has
now denied that he ever attended any University of Chicago.

          • Gbabe!

HAS HE ALSO NOT CONFESSED THAT HE HAS NO CPA LICENSE?

BOLA AHMED TINUBU IS FRAUD DEFINED – A LIE TOLD AT NOON!

          • Papa Oghwriodo

            MY CHILDREN,

            Una good morning.
I hope you sleep well yesterday? Me i could not sleep until around
5.00am when breeze started blowing. We have no electricity here. The useless
Minister they call Raji Fashola is just sitting there to share money even to
himself. One day that Raji Fashola will go to market and not come back. I have
seen somebody like him before. That was in 1964. You people were not born then.

            This topic that
you people are talking about this morning is a bit difficult for me to
understand. There is no single Muslim in my area here. I don’t know about
COALITION OF MUSLIMS. But if the Bola Tinubu wants to do coalition of Muslims,
should he not have sense to know that he cannot get Christian supporters for
            such a thing?

            The thing that has now
convinced me that this Bola Tinubu may not have sense is that he wants
to do a coalition of Muslims with Hausa, Fulani and Kanuri people but the Islam
they say they are doing in Nigeria already says that the Fulani Sultan of Sokoto
Sokoto is permanent Leader of Nigerian Muslims. That means that Bola Tinubu
has no sense to want a coalition of Muslims and become Leader at the same time.

          • mac4

            @aminu_baba:disqus

Yes, @Idowu Fashakin is on a distinguished road. May his tribe of truth-sayers increase in Nigeria.

There are too many APC supporters here. They just support anything APC, no objective views!

          • Deen Tee

Bola Tinubu attended Chicago State University and NOT University of Chicago for your information. Bola Tinubu does not also think like an American, but like a fraudster.

      • Aminu Baba

You are spot on, Fasakin, another brilliant follow up. I hope we get more commenters that are intelligently balanced like you and Nkem

    • Aminu Baba

You are brilliant, Nkem. I salute

    • Julius

Nonsense, this is politics sir. You disagree or opposed your party candidate and you come together at the end of the day win or lose.

  • Abdulmojeed Nojeemdeen

Gbam for you jagaban, of Nigeria. Such is the behaviour of a good leader. You stood your ground. I have no doubt a lot will have happened behind the cotton. Your exemplary leadership is worth emulating.

    • Fatai Fehintola

      On point, thanks!

    • Whalerolex

Unfortunately, Thiefnubu lost out on this occasion. He did not support him because he has his own preferred candidate. The Old guy is used to imposing candidates and maybe this will inform him of how irrelevant he is becoming in the political scene. Let him retire and enjoy his benefits as ex governor and also the proceeds from Oshinbajo and Ambode. Hope fully clueless Buhari will have the balls to re-open his Toronto case. #kujeprisonloading

      • Abdulmojeed Nojeemdeen

Whishful thinking. Your thought is not that if God. All your rants is are just the last kicks of a dying horse. Your head has been chopped of and you are still winking. Keep winking. You are free to beat your chest, but my advice is don’t break your ribs. Tinubu has been and shall continue to be your master in politics, the cage housing the fowls(you and your likes). Either way it goes,Tinubu, is a winner. The issue is not about Tinubu loosing ondo, but that he helped nail the coffin of your master Jonathan.

        • Whalerolex

I will assume you currently live in abject poverty as the 1000 naira they gave you during the election has finished. You defend these thieves while they continue to ruin your lives.
Mind you I support neither Shoeless GEJ nor Clueless Buhari as none of them have the answers to our problem.
I want a great Nigeria which means I’ll support a leader who does good work and will criticise any that is hopeless regardless of region, sex or religion.

          • Julius

Thank you but, may I ask who do you want as that leader ? Name, please.

          • Whalerolex

I do not need to name anybody. I will support anyone who during his/her campaign gives policies and a good idea of what his government will look like. A person good pedigree will be advantageous. If after 4 years, they have nothing to show then my vote goes elsewhere chikena.

Am not after people that only shout change change during elections or those you are imposed on us. Remember before lagos primaries, Ambode told other contestants he is already the governor. Just becos Thiefnubu (not lagosians) already said so

          • Julius

Exactly how Democracy works. I too will vote for someone else after 4 year in office and did not perform. Im rooting for the IMO state governor Okorocha as a VP to current VP after the tenure of Buhari, then he will be the next president himself after Osinbajo.

          • Abdulmojeed Nojeemdeen

You are used to self deceit. But wait, are you currently thinking you are comfortable and hoping others are not? So because your dirty fingers can type, you can type nonsense. Keep it up. You know why you and your people continue to remain behind, because you reason like this.

          • Whalerolex

I can’t blame you as you reason like your forefathers. You better develop yourself and dont pass this attitude onto the coming generation.
Where did comfortability appear in my comment? Nonsense

          • Abdulmojeed Nojeemdeen

Like my forefathers? Is that part of the discussion? Our holy prophet Mohammed once advised a man not to insult his parents, the man enquired how,the prophet replied that, when you insult other people’s parents, you have actually insulted your own parent. Would that mean your own forefathers, in this context?

          • Whalerolex

Exactly my point. Improve your reasoning skills as I did not insult your parents but if you felt insulted Jo ma binu. Case closed

          • Abdulmojeed Nojeemdeen

Do you know why we engage ourselves in social media like this,to know the level of our intellectual gift, cultural or background ethics, academics exposures. But if this bile is what you can offer in the name of intellectual debate such as this, then am afraid you need to “improve your own reasoning skills”

          • Whalerolex

          • Abdulmojeed Nojeemdeen

            Me too

          • serubawon70

If you know you dont have any contribution to make why not save you data.

  • Ojeleye Iyiola

I say you are a leader.

    • A.A Pablus

      @ojeleyeiyiola:disqus

BOLA TINUBU WILL BE CITED AS BAD EXAMPLE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS IN YORUBALAND
THAT A POLITICAL PARTY MUST NEVER AGAIN BE BASED ON “A COALITION OF MUSLIMS”,
OR MUST ANY POLITICAL PARTY IN YORUBALAND EVER BE FORMED FOR MUSLIM RULE.

  • thusspokez

Tinubu is from Lagos state, why was he poking his nose into the selection process in Ondo state? People don’t usually appreciate outsiders interfering in their internal affairs.

    • Julius

He has the right as a leader in his party. We are in a Democracy in case you didnt know.

      • thusspokez

Ondo state have their local chairperson of the APC and further, this was a local and not national election.

        • Julius

Genius, so following your logic, Buhari also has no business with the election either. Right ? Smh.

          • thusspokez

Buhari is the elected president of the country!

          • Julius

Genius, but, you said the election is a local election. By the way, it is not local but a state election. I’ll grant your obvious less intelligent in knowing that fact.

          • thusspokez

but, you said the election is a local election.

[repeat] Buhari is the elected president of the country!

Go and figure out what this means for yourself — assuming, you have the wherewithal to do so!

it is not local but a state election

            Local as against national, stµpid?

          • Julius

There is not point in arguing with a moron, which you are. Im done, get lost.

          • thusspokez

There is not point in arguing with a moron

Even against a supposedly mørøn like me, you still came off worst with regard to intellect and intelligence. Where does this put you on the IQ scale? Below mørøns, of course. I would jump off a bridge, out of shame, if I were you.

          • Julius

That should be NO, not NOT…typo. You gonna jump pff the bridge soon anyway. May the good Lord forgive you.

          • thusspokez

That should be NO, not NOT…typo.

Gosh! You see how petty your are? Could this be a sign of insecurity? Do you think I would go that low to pint out your typos and misspellings?

    • Abdulkadir

      Is Buhari from Ondo state?

      • thusspokez

Buhari is the elected president of the country, stµpid!

    • Ajayi Ifayemi

      Naivety!!!

  • Charles Coteen

People are yet to master the new game by the Jagaban: He merely pitches tent with the wrong candidate and the enemies would aggressively and in revolution vote his choice candidate without knowing it. First game over!

  • Senator D

Please my people “ignore” those rumour mongers from PDP and Wailing wailers spreading the “Frosty Relationship” between the Presidency and Jagaban…APC is “ONE” big happy family!

  • Lakeside

According to PT, Tinubu is now “A former Lagos State governor,” how life changes. This is a lesson for us all. Nothing is permanent. From APC leader to now a former governor. The next time, he will be called a former senator of Nigeria.
