Yes, I received vehicles from Jide Omokore, but… – PDP Vice Chair, Secondus

The immediate past acting chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Uche Secondus, has accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of persecuting him.

Mr. Secondus is accused of illegally receiving vehicles purchased with government funds.

He released a statement Thursday criticising his continued detention.

Read the full statement:

On Tuesday 23rd February 2016, I honoured an invitation from the EFCC to clarify issues related to an ongoing investigation by EFCC.

They confronted me with allegations of receiving some cars from Mr. Jide Omokore who has been my friend for over 20 years.

I admitted to them that Mr. Jide Omokore has given me car gifts on several occasions in the last 10 years for my personal use.

I want to state categorically that what I received from my friend, Jide Omokore, were cars and buses supplied by a well-known car company, Skymit Motors apparently from a credit facility Mr Omokore has with the company. I don’t have any knowledge of the so-called transaction the investigators are alleging he had with NNPC.

Against this background, it is most disheartening that the facts of the matter under investigation have been grossly misrepresented in the media, apparently under inducement by some political opponents in the APC particularly, a Minister from Rivers State.

This is in line with the strategy of the ruling party to hide under the anti-corruption fight to humiliate the leadership of our party.

I have been granted bail under very stringent conditions after 8 days in detention. Since the EFCC did not establish any case against me, I find my needless detention a clear case of witch-hunt and pure political persecution that has become a stock in trade of the APC government.

My immediate concern is the denial of the fundamental human rights, excessive physical incarceration and the orchestrated negative media campaign completely skewed against those being investigated.

Nevertheless, I hereby restate my confidence in the rule of law and the relevant institutions for the resolution of this matter on its merit in the interest of justice.

Signed:

Prince Uche Secondus

Deputy National Chairman, PDP

  • MushinSpeaks

Alagba Secondus, there is no but here…all is required of you is to return the loot… CHANGE is here!

    • Tritcall

      Muguman.

    • Sule Ahmadu

Hahaha don’t mind them. After his childish outbursts, the bottom line is; return what you stole and wait for your punishment. Thank God for PMB!

  • clairvoyance

Hear him, My immediate concern is the denial of the fundamental human rights, excessive physical incarceration and the orchestrated negative media campaign completely skewed against those being investigated. Why is every witch, yam eater treasury looter always crying about fundamental human right bla bla bla. They didn’t remember those lines when they were stealing us dry and receiving car gifts from your friend for the past 20 years? Why not return the money since you admitted already that you collected cars and buses not for your personal use now but for your party leaders.

  • JasV

What is this rogue, ole, barawo banza talking? Your friend of over twenty years giving you twenty three cars… More than the number of years you have been friends. Are you so daft? Some of us know him for almost thirty eight years now including when he was more or less bank clerk in Jos and Ilorin respectively. He dare not give me a motorcycle because he knows I will ask him for what, how and why? Your name should be Ignoramus not secondus. On second thought your name should be LASTUS. There is no way you could have been second, you must be last. It’s not easy to carry second o. Ask the wife of that drunken sailor who wears no shoes. YOU BASTARDS.

    • clairvoyance

Nah anoda ineffectual buffoon replica, instead of facing waiting for when he will be arraigned and sentenced to jail for been an accomplice of graft he is here blaming Amaechi for his woes, wetin concern Amaechi nah, he send am go collect 23 cars abi wetin, i wonder for all this our yam eaters o them nor wise at all.

      • Paul Young

As much as i will love to see these yam eaters go to jail i honestly think none of them will, not because they aren’t really corrupt but because the EFCC i think is not doing a thorough job conducting their investigations and remember all the defendant needs is to prove reasonable doubt, while the prosecutor has to prove his case beyond any reasonable doubt. That’s where man of these guys will exploit and win their cases, or they will use technicalities since most of the evidence EFCC have they dont always get it legally

    • Pure Reasoning

This is the best comment so far. Men! @JasV1:disqus you made my day.

    • Peregrino

Hahahahahaha……….when they marshal their childish defence of their corrupt acts, they don’t know they leave millions of fault lines. Him no tell us say Omokore was wiring him from bom bom and so enjoy am that he gives him one car each year and three for jara. Ohhh Gosh!

  • owhonda

    See this ole

  • Arabakpura

Sorry Mr Seconduit, you are a waste conduit pipe!

    • aisha ani

      No you did not!

      • Arabakpura

Aisha, what’s my offence to you?

        • aisha ani

No offence, just my way of expressing how much I love the “waste of conduit pipe”. Oscar award quality.

  • Paul Young

I am surprised he actually admits to receiving ”cars and buses” from his long time friend. he claims he has been receiving car gifts from Mr Omokore for his personal use over the past 10 years. So i have three questions for him then
    1) Is he a beggar
    2) Did he award any contracts to Mr Omokore and if so are these car gifts ‘kickback’
    3) If none of the above, did he ask Mr Omokore the reason for these expensive gifts over the past 10 years, after all we know that even in freetown nothing is free

I JUST WANT TO ENJOY THE DIVIDENDS OF DEMOCRACY

    • jossy reg

      I perceive poverty mentality.

      • Paul Young

And i perceive stupidity in your life

  • musa aliero

Mr jide omokere has been a rich businessman for years now playing big in the oil sector since yaradua! So am sure a few car gifts from him to anyone is nothing compared to what he has! We all know big men are fond of giving out gifts to friends! If jide omokere stole government money to buy cars and he gave secondus to share which he admitted, they should simply collect d cars which he already offered to do simple and short! Why all the talk and issues! Let secondus give them back d cars, and let them make jide omokere sort himself out with the efcc

    • Reason-ability

23 cars? A few? and to one person? More to this gift than meets the eye. I put my faith more in Magu than in Secondus.

  • Chief Larry

I am not a lawyer so I definitely have little knowledge of what the law states concerning gifts.
But I(my personal opinion) feel Uche secondus committed no crime, what crime did he commit by collecting car gifts from his friend? he can only be guilty once Uche Secondus admits that he was aware that the money used to buy the cars are illegally gotten wealth, until uche can admit that, I think EFCC have little or no case against him. Efcc should do their jobs thoroughly before coming out to prosecute people in the media. I fear they will not be able to get any conviction against Metuh because of the same reason.

    • Paul Young

You are absolutely correct. I made same comment earlier. EFCC is making very weak cases against these people and most of them will walk free in the end. The best water-tight looking case so far is Akpobolokemi. The best government can do in Secondus’ case is to confiscate the vehicles

      • Basketmouth

How did EFCC knew that he collected 23 luxury top of the line SUV from Omokore? The problem is that we do not know what Omokore himself has volunteered to the investigators before Secondus was picked up. If Omokore had given one or two cars to Secondus, it is a different thing but 23 luxury cars?. Omokore who has been accused of lifting hundreds of thousand of barrels of crude oil without paying the federal government must have said something to EFCC about how he spent or distribute the stolen money and to who. So calling EFCC bad names when we are not privy to what transpired during investigation is myopic.

    • Motherland

By collecting 23 cars even from his own songs, he crossed you line of decency.
Tell me, if not gluttony, what will a single man need 23 cars for?
I think secondus was just a conduit for these vehicles and Omokores payment or remittances to the federation account was padded to satiate these leeches
If that is not a crime, tell me what is

  • Ukpaka

I get it Mr. Secondus. Let me reiterate your points: You’re being ‘persecuted”, not “prosecuted” because of mere gifts you received from a friend. You admitted receiving cars from Omokore, a friend of over 20yrs. Well, lets concentrate on the cars/buses you received last year from Omokore. We’re not talking of one car but some 23 luxury SUV/cars (MB G55 AMG, top of the line Range Rover Autobiography edition, etc)….we’re talking some 23 luxury automobiles. First question: Was he giving you these automobiles worth hundreds of thousands of Dollars simply because you’re his girlfriend or what?. Basically, on what basis was he giving you these automobiles? Are you going to drive these 23 automobiles?. I know you’re trying to make it look like you received one car and the APC-led government is after you.
By your own admission, you even know that Omokore has a line of credit with this automobile dealership that provided the vehicles. Could we deduce from that statement alone that you know more about the deals surrounding these automobiles than you’re trying to make us believe?.
You even went further to state that a minister from Rivers state had something to do with misinforming Nigerians about this case. I guess this minister from Rivers’ state has no name or you’re a coward to name names.
I would really like to know why this Omokore guy is providing you with all these vehicles. Maybe you’re unaware what Omokore himself had told EFCC. It’s also possible the so-called leadership of your party is being humiliated because of their ruthless mistreatment of Nigerians over the years and their insatiable appetite for greed. While you guys were complaining you could not afford to pay 18,000/mnth to workers, your party leadership was neck-deep in acts of corruption. Nobody is shedding tears for you and your co-looters. You guys need to rot in hell. Now, go face the music.

    • IZON Redeemer

He is free to receive one million cars from Jehovah if not Omokore————–What is wrong with an individual receiving car gift for his party—–show me the law-which says PDP should not be patronized by any single individual in our society—-Buhari keeps on fooling himself all over the place with the witch-hunt of his party men-Was Buhari imposed on Nigerians-by the CIA-to pull down PDP or improve the economy with his limited Fulani ideas? -When Tinubu was investigated for operating 17 fake bank acccounts-by the—-CCB–he said Jonathan wanted him dead————–See the ongoing evil acts by Buhari, is a clear indication of why most african leaders hardly ever yearn to handover power peacefully——–when defeated or rigged out in an election-by the super powers———Well in his case he Buhari is not educated enough–to realise the folly of his oppressive acts–against people from the south–dusting oil files and chasing people with it–does not make sense one little bit-it makes Buhari look more like a monster–than a human being—————-

      • Ukpaka

Bro, you’re all over the place and I have no idea what you’re trying to say.
With all the education you have, I noticed your comment is full of incomplete sentences. Since you stated that Buhari is uneducated, I’m afraid you’ll need to be in same class with him so you can get educated too.
Needless to add I know your reputation in this forum….just saying!

  • Ladidi Danlami

In the light of the foregoing, I must say that the APC led government has subjugated the fundamental human rights of Nigerians and the constitution to a level of disrepute.
I do not understand why thorough investigation would not be carried out before an accused is sent to KUJE PRISON.
Prince Uche Secondus has only not have his Fundamental human right trampled upon, but also made mockery of the constitution which is the core norm of our existence as country.

  • Ladidi Danlami

Sometimes I ask, If this is truly the way forward by detaining an imprisoning an accuse before investigation is carried out.
I weep for this country because if the ruling party led by BUHARI could go this far by using the machinery of the EFCC as a tool of witch hunt of the opposition party, then we are no longer practising DEMOCRACY but DICTATORSHIP.

    • da vincci

tell them my sister, I never see this kind thing. instead of this E-Rats called APC to focus on the economy of this nation they are bizzy distracting Nigerians with their blame game. it shows that they really have nothing to offer. look at fuel scarcity every where nothing them they do about am. they are blaming Secondus for receiving a gift for campaign na thunder go fire una head e-rats APC….make una go solve the economic problems facing Nigeria.

    • chisom

Serious dictatorship my dear, when will the power intoxicating APC stop?they feel they are ruling the world, let them use the opportunity they have very well, cos they will be no second term for them. They have made a mess of this country.

  • da vincci

All them EFCC are been used as puppets by their puppet masters to hunt a selective few. abeg if I receive gifts from my billionaire friend is it now a crime? if it is then all the gifts received by buhari from amaechi for his campaign should also be returned and investigated becos he who lives in glass house should not throw stones. APC …E-rats.

  • Chief Iyare

It is very clear that this is a case of persecution and not prosecution as the APC government will want us to believe . How can vehicles given as gift over 6yrs ago and the most recent of the vehicle have not yet being paid for be a proceed of crime. This vehicles were given as personal gift and most of them were as a request for charity organizations. What will Uche Secondus do with buses other than to give them out to charity organizations that need them. This is clearly a case of vandata

  • IZON Redeemer

It is time Buhari and his Gestapos in EFCC ati DSS are told in very clear terms that-what differentiates human beings from animals is the rule of law. Both parties and sides must be heard. God did not condemn, God did not convict, God did not sentence Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden without hearing them. The danger of Nigerians wanting any person just to be convicted is that if it is Mr A today, it could be Mr B tomorrow. So we have to be careful.—-Buhari was not imposed on Nigerians by the CIA to disregard court orders-Never——

  • Mary Daniel

Am shocked that all they have against Chief Seconsus is just that he was given cars by his friend a private businessman not a serving governir or official. What is EFCC’s business with who gave cars to Seconsus. Many APC stalwarts also revived cars from APC Governors why is PDP the only party being prosecuted for electoral campaigns funds first Olisa Metuh now Secondus. Akpabio there are coming ohhhh

  • Mary Daniel

Ameachi ohhhhhhh Ameachi ohhhhj. Voice of Magu hand of Ameachi

  • CELINA JUMBO

Selective Justice is tantamount to Injustice… EFCC has suddenly become a tool in the hand of some power thirsty APC bigots.
I solidly believe an emasculated PDP is sure better than this Dictatorial PAC led administration in the country

  • jossy reg

Receiving gifts from a friend has now become a crime in Nigeria. This administration is just out to frustrate the opposition party. This is clearly a case of witch hunting.

    • TrueNja

Receiving 23 exotic cars as gift from a criminal is a crime anywhere in the world.

  • Godwin Abbo

Sir, i believe you, God is with you. They shall surely gather not by his name. God will disgrace your enemies like he disgraced the enemies of Nyesom wike.

    • pab

      Amen.

  • Steven Oga

The way EFCC’s case collapses against Chief Olisa Metuh is same way that of Secindus will go. This people are not serious they are jus playing to the gallery and am aware that Mr President is not aware of all the nonsense they are doing. Sycophants

  • Fred Ohiri

When I heard what was happening to Chief Secondus I cried because I just realized that this people will stop at nothing to destroy very good people. This man I can place anything on is innocent and one of the most decent Nigerians alive its a shame that they did this to him.

    • Paul Young

One of the most decent Nigerians alive collects luxury car gifts for no reason? And has been doing so for the past 10 years. I dont think you know what decent means

    • TrueNja

Collecting 23 exotic cars from a rogue is a crime.

  • Zeta bright

Secondus’ only crime is been the immediate past chairman of PDP dasall. And that’s why buhari is bent on frustrating him.

    • Paul Young

Did he collect the luxury cars yes or no??

  • IDowu ogaga

The method EFCC is using will not last, Obasanjo did it and didn’t succeed and I know that they are going same way and it is very clear that this is a clear case of victimization, oppression and intimidation. Secondus was arrested bcos he spoke too loud and made his views too public about the current government. They are trying to gag him simple

    • Paul Young

Did he collect the luxury cars yes or no?

    • Paul Graham

There’s nothing wrong with receiving a gift but if that gift is stolen then you will be charged for being in possession of stolen goods. In this instance the money used for the cars is alledged to be government funds illegally diverted to buy the cars. If your car is stolen and was giving out by the thief as a gift to a stranger, would you not try and retrieve your car from the stranger even if the stranger claims its a gift? Can the stranger in possession of your car claim ownership because it was a gift? If you demand for your car with proof of ownership and he refuses to return it. He will technically be an accessory to a crime of theft.

      • Motherland

Even if you buy it with your money and you have receipts to back your claim, you could still be held liable

  • vincci osamudi

If APC can’t stop this blame game and vendetta they chose as master plan they have another thing coming. I see that they can’t even take logical criticism from the opposition party. they came into power through the change mantra now we know the change they are talking about…the change of destroying our economy and living it in a state of “sepupu” ….please stop victimizing PDP Elites just becos u want to disseminate the party.

  • vincci osamudi

APC should take note that what goes around comes around……when the table turns around they should not complain ….cos come 2019 we are voting them out as Nigerians are tired of this distractions of victimization and vendetta using EFCC as puppet to achieve their evil agenda.

  • vincci osamudi

Chief Secondus has done nothing wrong to receive gifts from an old friend ……”release him” and for those of you APC-E-rats stop insulting Secondus.

    • Nkem

23 cars? Habah! Is that how you people have lost your conscience? That you cannot distinguish between wrong and right anymore?

  • Kelvin Toryila

APC with its plan to forcefully torture and intimidate opposition leaders, how does collecting cars from your friend for 20 years warrant bn arrested, kai Febuhari, APCAnditsMasterplan

    • da vincci

thank you @Kelvin Toryila:disqus no mind this APC people. they want no one to oppose and criticize them, tell me if they do wrong and Nigerians don’t tell them how will they know that they are doing wrong.

  • Collins Friday

This administration should have channelled their focus on initiating Policies that will revive our falling economy, they are busy trying to destabilize the opposition. Nigerians now know this administration sincerely had nothing to offer.

  • vincci osamudi

@collinsfriday:disqus guy them no get anything to offer instead them they bizzy they attack Secodus and other PDP chieftains. If really they have something good to offer Nigerians they will see this vendetta game plan as petty and waste of precious time. do u know that if the APC (ruling party) messes up they blame it on Jonathan….imagine they don’t have economic team. and technocrats ..that’s why the economy is the way it is….APC…E-rats repent.

    • TrueNja

People like u and Collins Friday are the ones giving Nigerians bad names outside Nigeria soil.

  • TrueNja

Habah Mr. Secondus, cover your face, apologize to Nigerians and return 23 exotic vehicles to EFCC. Stop embarrassing your family.

  • CommonSense

All you people crying over the clamp down of the corruption of PDP and asking y the same isn’t done on APC, did u ever stop and wonder y it is that your savior PDP govt didn’t attempt to as much as lift a finger during their admin to tackle corruption within APC. Of course you they didn’t because they were all enjoying stealing together. Now doesn’t that speak volumes about them and about you who are now complaining that the clamp down is only affecting PDP? When they had the power they did nothing but encourage the looting of the country and now at least half of all the corrupt are paying. Maybe if PDP wins next election they’ll do the same as retaliation and that my friends is how corruption begins to fall little by little even if it is 50% every handover of party power. So sai Buhari on lighting the flame and completely finish the PDP. 1 man should take 23 luxury cars in a country where people die because of common sore throat and people r actually rising to his defense. Nawa for u people o.

    • Da vincci

@Common Sense: na wa for u oooo, those vehicles were given to him for campaign and here u come saying that how can one man take 23 luxury cars, did he still them ? no….so please don’t say what u don’t know….vehicles given to buhari for campaign was it not donated by individuals ? so why should the vehicles given to secondus for campaign now a problem. After all he did not still the cars or the money to acquire it for him self. it is people like you that behave as if they are saints but full of shit. Hypocrite……

      • CommonSense

@Da vincci the common sense in me would have woken up and asked this man is given me 23 luxury vehicles for campaign, why? First off in a corrupt country like Nigeria and for Secondus to be one of the leaders in the country, should he not have questioned were 23 luxury cars were afforded? Should he not as a man of integrity refuse them and even investigate the source of them? You are here arguing that it was a gift. Do you know how much 23 luxury cars cost? In fact what do luxury cars and campaign have to do with each other? If it’s truly for campaign why r they luxury? I can continue asking u questions but I’m afraid you don’t have an answer nor do you care to think this through. You are too caught up in defending someone who has been corrupted. But continue defending now since you had no reason to during GEJ’s reign where there was no consequence for stealing.

      • Julius

Moron. when the said cars were purchased with our collective money ! Then, it is a crime . Its steal not still.

    • John

Don’t mind them. They are so confused and rattled so early in the day o! The probe never begin o! They chopped the yam all alone and at payment time, they want to pay with APC. What a bunch. Carry on PMB. Whip their dirty asses till they excrete all they greedily stole and ate. We are firmly with you on this. Shameless looters!

  • aisha aliyu

I think u guys are right about this #APCandItsMasterPlan to disseminate the strongest opposition party PDP. because in APC I can tell u all the crooks and criminals with them but none of them are been questioned by the EFCC…rather they treat them as saints….eg St. Amaechi, St. Tinubu etc….

    • Julius

lolz and your name is aisha aliyu !.Yea right.

    • Jerome

The strongest opposition………..hahahahahaha. OMG! How time flies!!!

  • Elivis elvis

The politicization of the EFCC is a big threat to Buhari’s anti corruption war. In as much as financial crimes is concern it does not also includes gift from a friend. claimed acceptance of the vehicles is a shameful given how he’s been plotted in order to make maligned of his person and his party.Secondus

  • Magnus Elede

Very amazing how we have seen the new dimension of anti corruption. It has changed nomenclature from anti-graft to anti-car gift. APC and President Buhari should tell Nigerians the relevance of this irrelevant pursuit of PDP.

    • john bosco

      tell these APC-E-rats …..

  • aisha aliyu

It is time for the new PDP to start working to save Nigeria from the hands of APC and its “CHANGE MANTRA”

  • aisha aliyu

Chief secondus hold on have faith for Allah shall fight your battles.

    • Julius

May the same Allah punish him for receiving a car bought with looted money

    • PolyGon2013

Does that mean Secondus is a Boko Haram member?

  • aisha aliyu

When has receiving a gift become crime….naija na wa.

    • Julius

when the said car was bought with the stolen government money. Got that ?

  • Francis Firstman

It’s a shame that our beloved country is this messed up that a sitting government will be using government agencies against her citizens.

    • Sincerely Yours

I do not believe you lot. When jonathan and his pdp were busy “using government agencies against her citizens” you did not cry out. Remember the siege on Tinubu’s house, the ordeals of Tambuwal and Amaechi, etc. Please spare me.

      • Funso Craig

Don’t mind that moron. He has very tiny memory.

  • Linda Amadi

It is crystal clear that this is a case of APC witch hunting Secondus. All attempt has failed becos it is never a crime to receive gift from a friend….infact APC motive for fight against corruption is just a means of witch hunting PDP members……Too bad

    • Idris Yahaya

Well said Linda.APC should get busy and go to work to fulfill their scam promises made to Nigerians instead of wasting time witch hunting innocent man.

      • Ngozi Njoku

Which other promises do you want APC to fulfil for you? Thought Jonathan turned Nigeria to heaven on earth and crowned it by sharing dollars openly on the street when he realised that his scam was about to end?

    • Yusuf Lawal

Nice one Linda. That’s just it.EFCC should be more specific with cases of funds transactions and not materials things said to be given as gift.corruption should be fought no doubt and not by witch hunting PDP Members as opposition party, who are the strength of Nigerian Democracy today.

    • Nawa4usO

Yes I guess gifting of 23 luxury cars is now fine in a corrupt country where non-thinking citizens like Linda and Idris think that a man can give a political leader 23 luxury cars for campaign. I don’t know many people who give their friends 23 luxury cars, I obviously need some new friends. Maybe Linda and Idris could be my new friends since gifting 23 cars is something they think friends do. If only PDP had done their own witch hunting when they had power but no they looked the other way because they too were hunting for the money of the common man. The money that should be used to build hospital so that children don’t die from simple sickness. Get real! No friend is going to give his “friend” 23 cars unless they planned to use it for some scheme to make more money. Well I hope Buhari continues hunting these thieves even if its all that he does its more than what happened under GEJ. One can only imagine what happened…

      • Musa ibrahim

Don’t walk in the shadows of those wasting the time of Nigerians to fight innocent men who has been democratic worthy of not being able to receive a gift of 23 cars …let EFCC and APC tell Nigerians that 23 cars given as gift to Secondus is corrupt as well…. Who is deceiving who? Witch hunting opposition is not the right step to fight corruption in Nigeria.

        • Dare

You have been manipulated too long to know and recognize corruption in the system.

        • Nawa4usO

Witch hunting brother did you not read what I wrote? He received 23 LUXURY cars. No one needs to tell me there is something wrong with that, my common sense is enough. If you live in a community where there is no reliable power, schools with no roof, and then one of the political leaders is receiving 23 LUXURY cars for campaigning would you not see something wrong with that. That such a thing can happen and a man would still find defenders from the same people who his actions have caused great suffering is beyond explanation. Things like this will continue to happen because people like you fight for corruption without knowing it and continue the life of squalor.

How did APC finance it’s campaign?

How much did APC pay David Axelrod the former Obama Campaign Manager that they engaged as Campaign Consultant? How did they raise the funds to pay the man and how did they raise the funds to run their office?

            What goes round comes round.

Tomorrow when APC operatives are victimized, don’t just raise a whimper.

          • Jerky

They raised it through the $2.1 billion Dasuki was dishing out as PDP ATM. I thought you would have asked to know the dollars the outgoing drunk ogogoro man was sharing in the streets when it became obvious that Nigerians were determined to send him and his corrupt useless bunch out of power or didn’t you get APC’s own dollar bazaar? The heavens are quaking when we are still on a paltry $2.1 billion Dasuki tranche. When we move to such open cases as NNPC, NIMASA, customs, SUREP, etc, heavens will cry blue murder at the shameful horror PDP did in this country for sixteen godforsaken years.

          • Nkebueziokwu

Thank God we now have a male president who can never be moved by these kpof kpof efforts by the vultures to walk away with their loot. If the PDP grim reapers like, let them relocate to the morgue. They must be made to vomit all they stole and that is the only way to recover this country. We expected that these shameless vermin will try to exculpate themselves but we never expected they would be so silly and childish. Persecution…. My slippers!

    • Musa ibrahim

Splendid that settles it.EFCC has failed to base their facts to be realistic when i terms of fighting corruption. Secondus case with the EFCC is a clear case of APC witch hunting opposition party members who today has been seen to be the strength of democracy in Nigeria period.

Is it because of his Ijaw-tribal Marks or what’?- Show me the law-which says PDP should not be patronized by any single individual in our society-?—Buhari and the Apes in APC, keeps on fooling themselves daily via the ongoing witch-hunt of people from PDP–The man is foolishly extending his evil against Service Chiefs who served the Nation in the battle field—fighting Fulani boko haram agent———In the USA,such Officers are docorated with HONORS——and not hunted down and killed-with rusty Fulani bows and arrows–as Buhari is doing to members of the armd forces—with the aid of his trusted Fulani brothers—in DSS ati Efcc——-who hardly ever go to war–on d side of FGN—-They wait on the sidelines and when the war is over, steal the spoils of war-as they did with the oil wells located in the Niger Delta- ——Was Buhari imposed on Nigerians-by the CIA-to pull down PDP or improve the economy with his limited Fulani ideas? -When Tinubu was investigated for operating 17 fake bank acccounts-by the—-CCB–he said Jonathan wanted him dead————–See the ongoing evil acts by Buhari, is a clear indication of why most african leaders hardly ever yearn to handover power peacefully——–when rigged out in an election-by the super powers———Well in his case he Buhari is not educated enough–to realise the folly of his oppressive acts–against people from the south–Dusting oil files and chasing people with it–does not make sense one little bit-it makes Buhari look more like a monster–than a human being—————-Animals

You are the problem with Nigeria. “What is wrong with an individual receiving car gift for his party–PDP’?” Are you seriously pondering that question in your head? Firs off he received 23 cars not 1 then probably distributed it out to all his cronies. Why anyone should be receiving luxury cars for campaigning is beyond me. Since you wanted to bring in the USA, do you think the head of Goldman Sachs would have gifted 23 cars to Obama during his re-election bid and Obama would have come in public and say that, oh the gift was for campaigning? He would have immediately lost the election and would have been probed for corruption and criminal charges. Only in Nigeria can a political leader like Secondus actually think that such an excuse is okay and come out and say it with such confidence and people like you would actually defend it as if the gifting and use of luxury cars in campaigns is the norm, well it is

PDP had the chance to do what APC is doing now when they had power but they did not simply because they were busy robbing the country dry and could care less who else was stealing so long as they got their own.

      • 9jaBrozz

        You are talking absolute bunkum.
By mentioning America, you’ve displayed your ignorance & lies.

For starters, the Citizens United judgement is well known by political commentators. American Supreme Court ruled that anybody including organizations can donate unlimited amount to a political organization or candidates.

In 2012 election cycle, Sheldon Adelson donated over $150 million to the GOP. This election cycle, he has donated over $18 million so far. We should also remember the financial donations of the Koch brothers to the GOP.

How much again is 23 cars & buses worth?

        • Julius

You failed to point out that those people you mentioned used their own money as a private citizen. Not a collective United States funds. You see the difference ?

  • ndababa

these pdp supporters are so blindfolded with their knowledge of stealing is not corruption to the extent that thy lose their common sense of judgement.

  • Ikechi Ngwube

These PDPig robbers stole and stole as if there will be no tomorrow. When we warned them that this audacious stealing will backfire, the laughed us away and told us nothing mega. They ate our yesterday, ate our today and ate our tomorrow. Their ogogoro Oga was even sharing dollars in the streets. They banked so heavily on their stolen loot to ensure they will remain in power for ever.

Today is a new day. A new Sheriff is in town and bad for these shameless yam eaters, he had no dent for their mud to stick on him. He knows no Joseph. He is armed with the solid support of long suffering Nigerians to recover their looted country for them and he is determined to make the yam eaters pay for their sins against country. Since he started his cleansing job, the yam eaters, their benefiiciaries and cronies have wailed their hearts out. Under one huge wailing canopy, they have tried every trick to fend off the whip. They have claimed witches and wizards. They have tried to hide under the rule of law for rouges and they continue to fail. In frustration, they have become bitter, acrimonious, frustrated loose cannons that gnash their teeth at every given opportunity but with this new Sheriff, they are in for a tough times.

Let those that stoke Nigeria dry return their loots. If they think they will get a reprieve by these silly campaigns or appeal to pity and all such puerile tactics, they will have another thing coming for this Sheriff will not let his whips down until sinners repent and do reparation for their sins.

  • Kelvin Chilaka

When we said that one day, the termites that have been destroying Nigeria will pay for their sins, they said we were mad; that nothing will stop their looting sores. When they see that a Nigerian with the sparkling credential and drive to cleanse the Augean stable is determined to go the whole hog to sanitize the country of their filth, they have resorted to all manners of infantile propaganda and wild wolf crying so as to stop the hands of justice and allow them to go home with all they stole from Nigeria. Thank God for PMB! Thank God for Change!! Thank God for March 28, 2015!!!

  • Man_Enough

This is a no defence. All receivers of stolen goods Will claim the same. Ignorance of the giver’s source is not a defence in law because the stolen goos have to be recovered anyway.
