With this kind of appointment, the wrong impression is created that Nigeria is an Islamic state. One negative consequence is harassment by people from the Middle-East, Somalia and North Africa who, when they meet Nigerians abroad, think that we are one of them begin their endless conspiracy theories and terrorism inspiring stories. This is despicable !

Scratch the surface and you will see that this person’s main qualification are Arabic and Islamic studies. Despicable !!!

It also gives the wrong impression to young northern Nigerian Muslims who begin to believe that Nigeria is an Islamic state. This group of people when they grow up behave like terrorist El.Rufai of Kaduna state who has unleashed Islamic terrorists and Fulani herdsmen on the peaceful Christian people of Southern Kaduna.
