The #BringBackOurGirls group has rescheduled its rally to the presidential villa, Abuja, till Tuesday.

The march was billed for Friday, but the group said postponing it will allow Muslim members attend Juma’at prayers.

The group is campaigning for the release of over 200 schoolgirls abducted by the extremist group, Boko Haram, in 2014.

The new round of protest march began August 23 after Boko Haram released a video indicating the girls were alive.

The group said it would only exchange the girls for their members detained by the government across the country.

Although President Muhammadu Buhari said he would be willing to concede to the demand, the BringBackOurGirls group says the government has not done enough to rescue the girls.

After the release of the last video, the group vowed to march to the presidential villa every 72 hours until the government makes clear what steps it was taking to get the girls back.

Security operatives were seen at the Unity Fountain venue of the BBOG sit-out on Friday.

For goodness’sake why can Madam not simply understand :
100 years of the BBOG protests cannot make BH to release the girls ?
Borno State is the best place for the BBOG group to occupy and protest, since these girls were abducted there and are believed to still be there ?
The protests should be directed at the Captors and not the Presidency ?
The FGN cannot under any circumstances divulge its plans on the rescue of the girls to the BBOG group, because it is a National Security issue and borders on the safety and lives of the captured girls ?
If these girls are to be saved no one should embark on moves to divert the FG’s attention unnecessarilly ?
I am really disappointed in Madam and her cohorts, and wont to believe that there is more than meets the eye on what this Group is up to. For God’s sake let them be humane and reasonable and allow the Government handle the situation as it should be.
If the BBOG group really want to assist they can collevtively do so at the various IDP camps where hunger starvation and homeliness is killing many on daily basis.
This useless and attention-seeking charade must stop !!!!

Did you write like this last 2 years 2014/15, hypocrite? anyway, what goes around, comes around

No doubt Madam and her group had contributed in raising an alarm globally, so it was good as at then. But as at today, the whole saga had passed that stage.
The problem is the failure of the group to draw a line, and is over doing it so much so that they are becoming a nuisance.

That is why i said that what goes around comes around. To you, it was good when they started because it gladdened your heart but bad now because it agonies your mind. One question for you, what is different between when they started and now, is the problem solved now or not?
