Nigerian parliament orders crackdown on promoters of ‘MMM’ scheme

The House of Representatives on Wednesday called on law enforcement agencies to track down promoters of a “questionable” investment scheme popularly known as ‘MMM.’

The lower chamber also mandated its committees on banking and currency and financial crimes to investigate the scheme.

The MMM is a deposit money scheme that promises a 30 per cent interest on investment per month.

Despite its popularity amongst Nigerians of all classes, critics maintain that the business is a Ponzi scheme because its operators use money from later investors to pay earlier investors.

Those behind the venture are not known to the Nigerian regulatory agencies, including the Central Bank and the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation.

The business is also said not to have been registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, making it difficult to identify its promoters.

Regulatory and anti-corruption agencies had earlier warned Nigerians against participating in the scheme.

But lawmakers said members of a syndicate who conduct seminars to train people on how to invest in the business should be arrested.

The development followed a motion of urgent national importance raised by Akinlade Fijabi from Oyo State, who described MMM as a ‘Rob Peter to Pay Paul Scheme’.

Mr. Fijabi said the operators of MMM are exploiting the economic situation of Nigerians that had left them desperate for income through any means without considering the implications.

Another lawmaker from Ondo State, Bode Ayorinde, said lawmakers should be concerned because they will likely be inundated with petitions if the scheme goes burst.

“When the business goes burst, it is the same House that people will flood with petitions,” Mr. Ayorinde said.

An Enugu lawmaker, Dennis Amadi, said the House should save Nigerians from themselves, because the collapse of MMM could make many commit suicide.

“The House will not wait until these crooks defraud Nigerians of billions of naira or until people start committing suicide,” Mr. Amadi said.

Speaker Yakubu Dogara ruled that the motion was adopted and urged the committee to expedite its investigation and report back to House within four weeks.

These investigations will just expedite their withdrawal from Nigeria and eventually people will still lose money and they are talking of suicide; they will still have to contend with that. Such orders should have been given in secrecy so as not to alert the promoters. Meanwhile the respective authority has a huge task on its hands as the only way to get to the bottom of it all is to check on all accounts that are part of the scheme. How will they get such records?

    • Adex

My fellow Nigerians, this Scheme is not feasible and viable as claimed by the operators. Please, you can confirm from Jos plateau State, where people had fall victim of such ponzi schemes like fadama, cashflow, etc. Alot of my friends are yet to come of the shock from the collapse of fadama and the rest. I advised some of my friends but they went behind me to invest in it, but when it bursted, they felt so ashamed to tell me, Billions of Naira was trapped there,. For those with ears should hear now before its too late. Please, find out from Jos and kaduna…
      Just my candid advise!

      • koko

our lawmakers are the most jobless and useless set of people that i have ever seen or heard of. they will not sit and deliberate about the state of our bad roads, no electricity,no job, no pensions, no salary, they wont crackdown betting houses or pool houses.may God forgive them.

        • Promise

Arant nonsense. Has Fijabi ever contributed anything reasonable at the parliamentary level since his nomination? The candid answer is capital NO. Therefore he should get back to his state and find out from his citizens what their problems are and collate same for senatorial debates and not pondering over MMM. Sergie Mavrodi rules and together we change the world.

          • uba pat

please can i need an explanation of how government will crack down mmm? were do you see mmm? is there a company called mmm u can go and shut down? please my fellow participants, we are the mmm they are talking about, if we stop our normal providing help and getting help which is the blood that keeps mmm alive, then they have succeeded in the cracking mmm down. my problem with this enemy of progress is that they that have not in there entire live think of increasing the standard of living of Nigeria citizens, they loot the national treasury, number 1 in bribery and corruption, only think of themselves and that of there family and Nigerians and can go to hell. please i need to know the reason you people are fighting against mmm? we participants of mmm want genuine reasons!

          • Tayo Johnson

Let me enlighten you. The transactions are done through the banking system. The government has control of the banks through the Central Bank. A simple directive from the Central Bank to all banks in the country to shut down all suspected accounts used for the MMM purpose will finish the scheme immediately!

          • Rosemary

what suspected accounts??? #lols# so if u willingly pay some amount of money into my account, with ur name as depositor, so CBN will close ur account and mine??? #hahaha# u help me someone helps u is the ideology of MMM. pls think before u type.

          • Rosemary

And other ones dey ooo. If na GNLD and Tianshi and Green World wey una go sell drug tire, all these quacks for no worry at all. why haven’t u agited against these foreign drug companies that promise u’ll go abroad at a certain level, win a car at a certain level etc? why? cos u know that one will continue to hawk drugs and may likely not gain anything. see there are billions of online businesses. it’s my business what I do with my money and not yours. since when have the masses been ur concern “Honourable Patriot”? lemme see how the government will shut down millions of online business sites. why not fight that the government close down pornographic sites? u won’t cos if I’m not mistaken, u watch porn on ur phone or laptop. the closure should begin from porn sites and magazines. another one dey ooo. Universal PlanB from Canada: a peer-to-peer funding. participants pay u to earn 10k in stage one. participants pay u to earn 60k in stage 2. participants pay u to earn 2.4m in stage 3. participants pay u to earn 17m in stage 4 the final stage. call me on 07039879194 or 08102630977. u can also add me on whatsapp via my 0703

it doesnt have to be feasible…let it just work for as long as it does…visit MMM.NET and read carefully everything on that site before u comment again and i hope u do so everytime u have to comment any other time…fadama is different from this…nobody is promising u money in MMM, it warns u severely not to invest all ur money, but spare money…and it is not an investment…and that they are not liable for any financial losses….i hope u understand…anyone in MMM knows he’s taking the high road and that shud b d least of the problems those parliament members shud be solving now…cos the last time i checked, they are not better dan a full-fledged con artistes themselves…what do u call failed promises? and ur chasing some people dat promised nothing?

We don’t need an irresponsible government to fight for us .
A government that steals from us on a daily basis..

Already the Govt is frustrated, how will you stop MMM ? you cannot down the server, you cannot block my account without prove, the day I stop mmm is the day the server completely crash, MMMite should always get their payee information before going to the bank not doing it in bank hall, Govt can bark but can’t bite.

    • Peter_Edo

MMM is a scam, and you will regret depending on it. Its only a matter of time. Google is your friend.

      • Edward

You lie. MMM is more reliable than Buhari’s govt. Its a veritable alternative for the masses.

        • Peter_Edo

which masses, our poorly uneducated masses who believe in spiritual rubbish, magic and get quick rich schemes? of course yes, and that also makes pliable to scammers.

      • Morality First

Your money is not in MMM, so wetin consern you with person money? do people tell you how to spend yours?

  • Kay

I would like us to be very factual and reasonable. Are you saying MMM should not be regulated in Nigeria? Someone told me about the organization and I did ask one or 2 questions on the board of directors of the organization, its address etc. And there was no response of any sort. I think we should be careful though everyone needs money. How do you invest into an organization and you do not know the brains behind it?

    • young

Bros, I am a finance God and a corporate governance genius, but MMM is not a coy but a movement, leave all these your english, you see what happened with Trump winning, Buhari winning and MMM advent, they have one thing in common, “Change”, people are tried of the old bullcrap and want something different, MMM shares wealth around because even the rich are into it, so if you never saw deposit multiple formula they taught us in school of deposit creation been put to use, MMM gives you opportunity to see, in as much as MMM delivers its promise, and deposits remains in circulation, the money will always revolve till Jesus comes, only the banks will lose as they will have less predictability of cashflow and fixed deposit will reduce as there is a scheme that pays in a month, more than what they are willing to pay in one year, so the profits that goes to the pocket of the bank MDs that is enough to feed millions is then cut and circulated, The risk is there and it is the risk of fear and saturation. fear is short term and the later is long term but then, all these risk is lower than the risk of us having these clueless and greedy people in government for the next 3 years……………you can poke me and I will unleash the pro in me

      • Peter_Edo

MMM is a scam, the owner has previously been arrested before he relocated. its a ponzit scheme and it will eventually burst!

        • young

since there is no depository, it is not a scam, it is a financial inclusion initiative, though unregulated, it is umpired and i am impressed at the technology behind it too, quite fantastic. the Nigerian population is good for it’s survival as we are large, and if anything happens to it eventually, the money would have revolved across everyone to be happy as it is a 4 month payback investment

          • Peter_Edo

I would love to believe that but i also remember something we called “Plan Well” in Benin. I hope my people don’t lose too much.

          • Peter_Edo

bush man, go and read about MMM.

МММ was a Russian company that perpetrated one of the world’s largest Ponzi schemes of all time, in the 1990s. By different estimates from 5 to 40 million people lost up to $10
billion. The exact figures are not known even to the founders.
Mavrodi (founder of MMM)was found and arrested in 2003. While in custody, Mavrodi was given until January 31, 2006 to read the documents in his fraud case against him (The criminal case consisted of 650 volumes, each 250-270 pages long).
At the end of April 2007, Mavrodi was convicted of fraud, and given a
sentence of four and a half years. Since he had already spent over four
years in custody, he was released less than a month later, on May 22,
2007. He later went on to creating yet another pyramid scheme called MMM-2011.

The MMM scandal led to increased regulation of the Russian stock
market, but the legacy of the fraud led many to become extremely
suspicious of any joint stock companies.

In 2015 MMM began operating in South Africa with the same business
model as MMM-2011, claiming a “30% per month” return through a “social
            financial network”.[3]
The group was identified as a possible pyramid scheme by the National
Consumer Commission and accounts of clients were later frozen by Capitec Bank.[4]
In response to mounting criticism and official investigations by state
authorities in 2016 supporters of the South African MMM scheme staged a
            protest march in Johannesburg.[5]

In 2016, MMM launched a website targeting the Nigerian audience.[6]

In January 2016 the Chinese government banned MMM on the grounds that
it is a pyramid scheme, (Ponzi scheme), and it is not registered in the
country (and as a fraudulent scheme cannot be registered).[7]

        Simple Google Search:
“Sergey Panteleevich Mavrodi is a Russian criminal and a former deputy of the State Duma. He is the founder of the МММ series of pyramid schemes. Wikipedia”

        And from wikipedia:
“МММ was a Russian company that perpetrated one of the world’s largest Ponzi schemes of all time, in the 1990s.[1][2] By different estimates from 5 to 40 million people lost up to $10 billion. The exact figures are not known even to the founders.”

  • Charles Bennedith

Government should deliver what they promise Nigeria and not chasing ghost.
No bank can offer 30% interest in the money you save with them, they use your money to do business, take the interest, give you uncalled debit alerts etc, they are afraid. This exactly what is needed in oil sector and power sector, when there are good competitors, life will be more easier. US is not talking about MMM, and Naija government is ranting. Tell us you need share of the fund, even bank managers are in MMM

  • Kudos

All these unemployed adults are not serious. Budget padding, they refused to investigate – but they can set up committee to investigate a scheme helping the oppressed.

  • easyman16

Useless, confused and hopeless set Of thieves/looters that has looted this country to dry and left the people with no choice is talking of protecting the people from being defrauded. NONSENSE! • thusspokez

On Nigerian website, all one would find is unprovoked INSULTS!!! Apart from the scammers behind the MMM scheme, why would this good motion to protect Nigerians provoke anyone to insult the legislators sponsoring the bill? I can’t make sense of your unprovoked insults.

  • Shooky

See this bunch heads called lawmakers, get busy with your looting and let’s us survive anyway. What they can’t steal, they waste that is the Nigerian government!!!

    • thusspokez

Did you read what the motion is about?

  • Why are you leaders selfish, and greedy? Instead of you to find solution to the problem on ground, you are causing another problem. There are millions of graduate out there jobless you didn’t find solution to that, millions of civil servants are working for you but you are paying them 10%, 25% monthly, but you do have your full salary 100% monthly.
You owns banks and banks are working for you, people do save their money to bank and banks make use of it but how much are they giving in return… even the interest they do gives don’t cover the charges of SMS alert monthly.
You promise things will be better… but things are harder.

    • thusspokez

What exactly is your point? Are you for or against a law which tries to prevent people from losing their money and even their life savings to a scam which is world renowned except in Nigeria?

      • Morality First

Abegi have they stopped Bet9ja? and other betting sites? have they stopped baba ijebu? don’t people loose money on these sites? are the risks 100% covered?
just because they are able to get a piece of these businesses, its no problem, but MMM cos the structure is a community one, you cant hold any one person then they are using megaphone to say they are saving us.
who beg them. if i want to soak my money in water and tear it, its my business, if i want to spray it on owambe its my business, if i want to invest in MMM, again its my business. There are a lot more things the House could be doing.
some years back i lost all i had on the stock market, i nearly killed myself, did the house say ” NDIC give him back his principal?” we lost money on the stock market they made money, we lost money in forex, they made money. Grow up and stop thinking we are fools, we know you dont care for us.

Nigeria’s #1 problem is not corruption but stµpidity. You only need to read the comments on this forum alone to realise the ignorance and monumental stµpidity of these people. And yes, these people also suffer from delusion in that they seriously think that they are smart.

The development followed a motion of urgent national importance raised by Akinlade Fijabi from Oyo State, who described MMM as a ‘Rob Peter to Pay Paul Scheme’.

Good job! In the US, Bernard Madoff and his children were sentenced to long term jail for similar scam. Allen Stanford is serving 110 year prison sentence too.

Those Nigerians involved in the scheme should thank Akinlade Fijabi for stopping it before they eventually lose their money and even life savings as was the case in the US.

    • zekopssuht

Really? You compare US and Nigeria? Really? Would a Buhari who runs away from debate and openly supports terrorists and declared he would spill blood if he loses elections ever be nominated as a candidate for any election in US? Why are u people fond of making comparison between US and Nigeria where it suits you and not in all cases? Yeye Fowl!

      • thusspokez

Nonsensical response! MMM is a ponzi scheme which originated in the USA. So how is highlighting this connection a comparison?

And what has Buhari got to do with the discussion on this forum? You lot seems to write whatever comes into you head unfettere.

        • People

You speak with so much ignorance.

MMM originates from Russia and not America. The founder – Sergey Mavrodi is a Russian and not an American.

          • thusspokez

” MMM is a ponzi scheme which originated in the USA”

What is in the above sentence that you find difficult to understand?

          • Rosemary

more ignorance… MMM originates from Russia. The founder – Sergey Mavrodi is a Russian and he started it there just as we started our local contributions (Ajo) here. Lemme give u some well-known Ajo we have … SEAP, AISHA, LAPO…go and find out how they operate and how business men and women cry over them, yet people of ur calibre will never come out to expose them here or talk degradingly about them, cos it’s people like u who oppress the poor and are never happy to see them rise. u want to be the only set of people to whom u are answered “yes sir” “yes ma” everytime. so it frustrates ur mind that even ur driver now through these “ponzi scheme” can now drive a car and doesn’t have to drive u around anymore. what’s a ponzi scheme? u call it that. do u know that indirectly u are in a ponzi scheme when someone sees ur fine shirt and asks u where u bought it from, u direct him there. u have gotten many customers for the boutique yet the boutique owner never calls u to pay u for introducing more people to patronize him. now why haven’t u talked against GNLD and Green World and Tianshi etc. cos u want people to go about selling costly drugs which u know they would never be able to sell. see the more u talk or type here the more u show ur ignorance and a lack of judgmental sense.

    • Rosemary

what has Akinlade – or whoever u call him – stopped? MMM? I just logged in to the site and provided help for someone. One of my referrals just received help of N407,000 . U don smell that kind money this year?

If no-one in life can smile because u have touched his/her life – if no-one can point at u and say u wiped his/her tears away – then u are a BIG FAILURE

      • thusspokez

I just logged in to the site and provided help for someone.

So you are part of the fraud?

The pattern of operation is well known. Entice people and make them feel very happy initially and encourage them to recruit family and friends. And then later, disappear with their money.

        • Olufemi Odunayo

Your wahala, our smiling…..make una dey talk dey go…..carry go….dont forget na megabyte u dey use oooo…but just incase u run out of it, dont hesitate to contact me and i will send u recharge card with my mmm profit money

        • Rosemary

ignorant speech…. someone willingly helped me with 39k which ur civil service finds difficult in paying …. and if they do, they make sure they owe u for almost half the year… someone willingly helps me and I willingly help others. now what’s bad in that? it’s ur naira bet/sport bet/pool centre/baba ijebu/ajo -local contribution/cooperative society etc who are fraudsters. pls find something better doing instead of being an enemy of progress. people are not prone to change because they so used to the old ways. do u remember how our ancestors behaved when the whites first brought education to Africa? when they first brought civilization to us? when they first brought the banking system we operate today? Our ancestors opposed them and killed many of them. But today, we lazy blacks who don’t know how to invent things helpful to our society are reaping the benefits. pls find a way u can invent or establish something worthwhile to help your fellow Nigerians instead of murmuring like your forefathers in the wilderness. Despite what God did for them through Moses, they were never satisfied.

How can you stop such a good scheme meant to help the poor?

The first phase is to entice as many poor and ignorant people as possible into the scheme and make everyone happy. And when the money is in its millions of dollars, the scammers will then disappear with the money. All these poor people will lose their money. This is the pattern even in the West for which many had lost their life savings and for which the scammers are sentenced to long jail terms. What would it take you to understand that if you put your hand in fire, the fire will burn you?

I have discovered that those who are on facebook, twitter and other online medium asking the government to mind their business and leave them to do what they like with their moneies are same operatos of the MMM who want to continue with the scam, by making the gullibles think in that direction.
I know so many lazy Africans (Trump loathes you) are ready to go down with the poni scheme.

No legitimate business will give you 30% interest on capital per month, keyword is “legitimate”. What Nigeria are saying about these cheap fraudster is plainly and simply UNBELIEVABLE! I know we’re basically very low mentally but this is absurdity at the extreme, Donald Trump said it, we’re very lazy people….everybody wants to “hammer” without working hard, no one reads, only Facebook twitter social media, our youth are consumed by get rich syndrome, no work ethic, you guys think MMM are printers of money, one clown even said they use new investors to pay old investors…that is the stupidest logic I ever heard in my whole life…poverty has really eaten deep into our brain matter, simply put…this country is light years behind, we have an extremely long way to go in all aspects of our lives, no wonder throughout Obama’s 8year presidency he never for once bothered visiting the so called gaint of Africa, I mean why visit a nation who still live in the 17th century?!

@dmaks….That is his own mentality, that he MUST suffer before he get money. I reject it IJN….God had made a way for us and simply it is mmm….God said it that he will provide all our needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus. He never said he will provide all our need after suffering.

    • Tola

My brother what I read and observe about attitude of Nigerians to this scheme is frightening. How can a people be so dumb? How can you generate returns without putting money to work? It is what we call in local parlance ‘dig hole to cover a hole’. The later hole becomes increasingly big and soon you cannot cover it. 30% per month means you need 13 contributors to repay 10 ‘helpers’; and with the power and reach of the Internet, the excess ‘hole’ dug to cover another quickly becomes uncontrollably large. It is an inverted pyramid. Larger and larger numbers to meet lower and lower contributors until it collapses under its own weight. The most absurd is the claim that government should keep off since it is voluntary. No, not at all. Once you enter a social or commercial relationship with another person, it is regulated. Even marriages have rules. You cannot set up a platform to let money exchange hands between thousands and not be regulated. The earlier this is aborted the less the agony.

      • Tayo Johnson

Fantastic! You have put it really well. In addition, I think it’s a lack of work ethics that is fuelling this scam. “I have become a millionaire in only 3 months”. By doing what? There is dignity in labour. But Nigerian youths have been brainwashed and can’t understand that anymore.

        • Tola

My sister, they say if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck it is a duck. You may call it help or gift but to the extent that you are helping with the expectation that someone must help you after a month with a premium, it is an implied investment. So you help with N20k and a month later you need help of N26k, then month 2 your helper requires N26k+ 30℅, (N33.8k) of help. The needed help keeps compounding with monthly rest (called month/month). You can do your elementary maths to know the help required after month 12 or month 24. So for someone who helped with N1m, you can calculate what help is needed in month 24. The day there is shortage of helper in this help kingdom or helpers are fatigued, the whole thing come crashing down. Money must work to earn a premium. It is that easy.

          • Rosemary

look for someone to help bro. If 10 people can’t boldly say u have helped them like this – then sorry u’re not fulfilling the Biblical injuction that says “give and it shall be given unto you – good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over shall men give unto ur bosom”. Think of what to do for Nigerians to help them Mr Mathematician

    • Deking ON Eth Onyeze

Hahaha, thank God you said poverty has really eaten into your brain. What you don’t understand is the reason why you are not yet outstanding in life. What is wrong with me providing help for someone who needs it, and later gets mine when i need it. It’s that fraud?. Which section of the law quotes that. Someone like you will support those heartless looters who are making Nigerians poorer than they met them. They are worried because they built the banks with our stolen money as their investments with the target of collecting our hard earned money from us in the name of banking it, which they use for forex trading, loans to companies with high interest.
But MMM has opened the door for everyone to draw from the water that never runs dry. Banks are finding it difficult even to put money in the ATM machine because nobody wants to leave his or her money in their hands. God bless MMM.

      • Tayo Johnson

The scheme is wrong because you can’t build the future of a nation and her people on sand, which has no firmament and can be blown away anytime by a storm. The Gross Domestic Product of every advanced nation is built on its production capacity, based on human, material and natural resources. You can’t plan the future of the next generation based on a scheme that has no foundation. That is why the scheme is worrying and unacceptable. Every successful society must be governed by rules and regulations, which defines the rights of every individual in order to survive. A scheme that cannot be regulated can be injurious to the masses (and the country) if wholly embraced, because of the simple fact that no one can be called to order at any time.

      • Adaoma

MMM is a life saver, i took my time to learn MMM before i joined and now this house of people wants to shut it down. if you house of Rep members love Nigerians so much then leave MMM to continue, we are alive today because mmm has put food on our tables, it has settled our medical bills, it has kept the youth busy ans so crime rates has reduced. if you watch well, you see that the activities of Boko haram and Millitancy in the country has reduced drastically because a lot of time that would have been spent planning and committing crimes have been put into scouting for downlines in the mmm system by members. It is through MMM that i have come to see that Nigerians are not bad people but rather are victims of the bad leadership and circumstances meted on them by their own leaders. Reason i say this, is because in my course of participating in mmm, members have erroneously made excess payments of above two hundred thousands (i am a witness severally) into fellow Nigerians acounts and they were returned back without much delays. the system has even taught me of places in Nigeria i never knew existed. Abi should we talk about the marriages that has taken place courtesy of mmm? What about a me=ajor surgery that was possible because of the proceeds from MMM? MMM is a healthy for me and all members. please let us be in peace. It is a risk we signed to take, let us carry our cross by ourselves.
Please share this message as fast as it can get, LET IT GO VIRAL UNTIL IT REACHES THOSE IT IS MEANT FOR. EFCC AND OTHERS SHOULD INVITE MEMBERS FOR QUESTIONING AND TRAININGS ON HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS BECAUSE FROM WHAT I AM SEEING, THE GOVT DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THE MMM SYSTEM

I’d advice they investigate the scheme carefully.
If you read the write up well, you’ll find out an arrest wasn’t ordered in the end.
an investigation was asked to be carried out into the scheme quickly.
I THINK this arrest headline is to get as much traffic as possible, it’s a site and they need traffic. perfect headline i guess.

        • Wesley Yoshi

I LOVE THIS REPLY WITH MY WHOLE HEART

      • Rosemary

with all I sent u? what do u do for a living. probably u don’t earn up to 10k or ur parents are still feeding u. when u begin to have huge responsibilities, u will realize that even 50k as salary isn’t enough to meet up with ur needs and that of ur family. many banks have failed and have gotten liquidated. the stock market has taken a downside turn – shares have drastically dropped. what’s ur problem? is it ur business how others spend their money? but if I tell u I wanna play pool u will go all the way to support me isn’t it? how many job opportunities has the government been able to provide? MMM has been on for 5 yrs. even academically u can’t meet up with its founder – Sergey Mavrodi. do not let poverty come upon u like a mighty flood…

      • Olufemi Odunayo

        Continue laughing……Na we do u like that…Pele

      • Jodine Henri

        Read Carefully…..
You do not know the concept of MMM but is has been the best…I have done it 5 months now and I have kept it as my normal salary…I get extra N300,000.00 for giving help of N1,000,000.00 every month, for 5 months now…I have made N1,500,000.00 and I have given help of N5,000,000.00…so you do not understand the concept but let me tell you….MMM is going to wax stronger than facebook…because the way facebook make their money is also what MMM technical platform is using to make money….As much as people register and use the platform to give help and get help…MMM will be making money from internet traffic….No one is sending money to MMM…MMM does not collect your money…MMM is not a bank….
MMM is simply….You give help and wait for 30 days to get help….and all help are local not international….so who is crashing who? who is scamming who? Come to think of it, Nigeria Government has been scamming Nigerians since 1999 in the name of democracy……MMM 4 Life….you can join through me….

        • princegab

You are make me laughing at you already, sir. Take these:
          1) you are probably a recruiter
2)if you are truly in the game, then note that you are exchanging your hard earned money for bitcoins which are virtual money, demarcated for ever but you will swallow for a while.
3)go to Wikipedia and read about Mavrodi, the founder of MMM. he is a Russian criminal whose pass time is defrauding investors.
Half a word is enough for the wise.

      • Jodine Henri

You are truly BLIND….People are getting funds and making their problem relieve and you are there dying in your pains…..MMM make their money as Facebook make…..so MMM is not collecting anyone money…MMM is not a bank….They have a platform that is fetching millions of dollars to them as you browse the website…..MMM do not care of your little peanuts….

        • princegab

Continue to deceive yourself sir, until D-day.

  • Isah

This government and the members of house of representatives are the worst there is. My Father lost all his money in Savanah Bank, My mom lost everything is Society General, and almost commited suicide ad the government did nothing. But the government is telling us that it is only they who have the right to license fraudsters to defraud nigerians without consequence. But if i willingly put my money into MMM knowing the risk, i am a criminal and the government who cant keep a single promise they made to Nigerians in the 2015 election are trying to protect my interest.

  • AMADI JUSTICE

    MMM ALL THE WAY

    • yemi

mmm as become a virus into my body system…….if gov cry till eternity, there is no antivirus to cure it long live mmm long live nigeria

    • Olufemi Odunayo

      Yes oooo

  • Rita

If this is true then the Nigerian parliament is made up of morons. lts obvious that they don’t want Nigerians to survive the recession. They are so jobless that they don’t have something productive to do with their time..there is nothing to investigate about MMM. Nigerian Parliament, use your head for something worthwhile…Infact you guys are too old to handle country matter…leave it for the youths.

    • Omoba1

I believe this is promoted by a lobbying group.

      • Henry

This is not a lobbying group as you think. 98% of the respondents are mmm participants. I can see, you are amazed of the wonderful number of support in favour of mmm. You better join mmm and change your life. Stop saying what you do not know. MMM is only a platform where you can provide help and get help when you need it. Find out more about how mmm works from any participant that is well informed of mmm and it ideology near you.

  • Majesty Chiejine

HHHHMMMMMHH, The Truth remains. I can observe one thing here. 99.99% of all those who criticize MMM has only 0.01% knowledge about MMM. The God of Nigeria is bigger than federal government of Nigeria. National Assembly cannot stop God. they cant stop Gods blessings, they cant stop MMM. MMM is invisible.

  • PRINCE BRAINY

Though i haven’t tried this MMM of a thing, but from the explanation so far by those that have tried it, it seem a platform to step up the standard of living of the poor. Baba ijebu, Bet9ja, and the likes are there, they are the ones the house should be talking about cos according to me, they are categories under gambling and gambling is illegal… MMM is a platform that helps people i mean the needy ones in times of need. You offer to help someone, and in 3weeks time you can requested to be helped you gain 30% of the money you use in helping someone, meeeen i do not see any thing that in ILLEGAL here. i think the house is jobless as stated earlier on by other commentators, the house should mind their business about the country and not just sit there, using MMM to gain popularity… MMM is here to help, if you can’t help me positively, leave me neutral instead of helping me negatively… please some add me up on whatsapp with this digit (08181453360) to explain more about MMM and lemme get started… PRINCE BRAINY

    • princegab

Mmm will collect deposits from everyone, as many as possible and continuously so that in 30 days, depositors will get back their money plus 30% . The secret here is that mmm pays from the actual money deposited, it does no business with the money so it makes no profit of any kind. It turns deposited money round and round while most depositors leave the money longer for several months for the good yields. As the deposits accumulate so also mmm is putting away a good chunk for self. Until one faithful day the company “mmm” will vanish with accumulated huge amount depositors money. That is ponzi scheme for you. It’s illegal, do not fall victim.

      • Charles Bennedith

MMM has no central account to collect your money or accumulate the so called good chunk for herself, you must withdraw after 30 days. Don’t be outside and explain the inside of a house you have never been into.
MMM made me a Millionaire just in 3 months

        • princegab

Funny people, from where do you withdraw if mmm has no account, and on what are you been paid 30% if you made no deposit? What business do you then have with mmm without your deposit?
I suspect you are a member or agent of the fraudsters.

          • Wesley Yoshi

DULLGAB….Don’t be outside and explain the inside of a house you have never been into.THIS IS THE BEST WORD I HAVE HEARD THIS WEEK. YOU ARE NOT INVOLVED THEN LEAVE US ALONE…. ELSE WE’LL SWITCH UR NAME TO SLAVEGAB…. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY REMAINING BROKE.

          • Helen

IF u dont know any thing just keep quite it non of your business, stop opening your big mouth in what u dont know about. what is you business, or are you trying to know more about it?
My advice for you is mind your business and live MMM along. you enemy of progress.

          • Rosemary

to answer ur first question – u help someone by paying directly to his or her bank account and I receive help from another person when he or she sends money directly into my bank account. to reply ur second question – ur 30% is someone else’s pledge. for example: i decide to help someone with 20,000. 30% of 20,000 is 6,000. there is someone elsewhere who has made that pledge to help one with 26,000. exactly one month, the system matches me (who pledged 20k after i must have helped someone else) with the one who pledged 26k. so the one who pledged 26k pays directly into my account as he already sees my bank details on the screen. i could decide to send 1k to u now so as to buy airtime or subscribe for megabyte *winks* even if I haven’t seen u. now if I send u 1k, is it the Federal Government’s business?

          • Olufemi Odunayo

Now u see say u no get any brain at all….Why asking questions self? Abi u won join secretly and u no want make we know cos u had already write mmm off? Simple explanation u can not even understand, that show how dump u are i swear.

My first money i deposit was 70k and after 30days i requested for my money and i was paid a total amount of 98k……30% interest, and first time registration bonus. I request for my money and i got the alert within 24hours.

You can see lots of people are making money via mmm and there u are talking rubbish about what u dont even know……Pele dear, we are enjoying this….while we are making money, just be there typing and making to dey make us laugh cos ur matter now, na laugh e dey make us laugh….And just incase u run out of data pls dont hesitate to contact me and i will send u recharge card.

          • princegab

            Congratulations.

@ Princegab… MMM makes profit from the number of people visiting their website (traffic) not from the money people put in it… I’m not participant though.

How does mmm make money from visiting if visitors don’t drop money? Website traffic same as money?
Good you are not a participant and please don’t do it.

          • Rosemary

princegab – u should think before u talk. ask a computer programmer how zuckerberg makes his money while u are chatting and uploading on facebook.

          • princegab

            Zuckerbergs in the making, congratulations

          • toyin

mr gab….how does facebook make its money?….please understand something b4 u condemn…. u knw nothing about mmm

          • Christopher

Don’t mind this bullshit gab. Perhaps zuckerberg goes on Facebook to sell tomatoes and crayfish…that’s why he us the fifth richest man in the world. Mumu like you. You are too old to understand 21st technology.

          • Olufemi Odunayo

@useless Princegab….So u dont even know that so many website generate funds by people visiting their website? Now i believe u know nothing about what u are saying here.

As i write now i also have a website that is giving me money depending on how many people that visit and click on the advert there! Not to talk of mmm website that millions of people do visit on a daily basis. Na wa oooo…U are really at the back…extreme end to be specific. Please go and learn about IT stuff….

      • Mbaba Uduak

Why are you like this. Which school you attend sef. The participants are telling you one thing you’re saying another. Weldone

      • MYSELF

you are dumber than a bucket of shrimps, seriously, research and know how things work before opening your mouth to say what you don’t know, it only shows people how dumb you really are.

      • clemx

Even though I have not done this, I have a better understanding of this mmm than you. Your position here is not true, you don’t pay any money until you are matched with some one, and you don’t leave money any where for Months. Immediately you offer to render help, your mavro begins to grow, even though you have not paid any money to anyone yet, after few days or week, but before a Month, you will be matched with someone and you pay to the person, so after that, you will also request for help, within that same month, your initia money would be paid, plus your 30% bonus. If you then offer help of 20k, you would be given additional $20. MMM is great and real, my friends are into it.

      • Christopher

Young man, why don’t you invest a few of your time to find out about MMM and its modus operandi. MMM do not have a central account neither do MMM collect any deposit from anybody. So your analysis is at best useful for ass cleaning.

  • ROSE

    Dear Government,
    Please
I know we don’t like good things to come to our Country but for the
sake of people like us who pray for each others happiness, My RISK is NO
body’s business!!! MMM is the hope for the poor””””’LET MMM
STAY””””” We want to participant, its our hard
earned money….leave us to use it the way we want…. when do u people
start caring about how we earn and spend our money…

  • JOY

THE GOVERNMENT ARE TOO OLD TO RUN THE AFFAIRS OF OUR GREAT COUNTRY……. MMM ROCKS, TOGETHER WE ARE CHANGING NIGERIA!

  • MMM NIGERIA

The 10 million naira scam collected on project allocation by the same House of Rep members as alleged by Hon. jibrin what happened?Gov okorocha of imo state is owing me 10 months salary and wants to pay only 50%,what happened, president Buhari spent half of Nigeria’s budget on his ear, what happened? The account of a current military personnel daughter where looted money was found, what happened?if Hon Dogara can say that there is no crime called budget padding, then i too can say there is no crime called ponzi scheme.

  • MMM NIGERIA

Gov of Abia State is owing pensioners countless months pension, what has the house done about the state of pensioners in the country? So they are aware of the state of the economy but have done nothing about it,cowards. They cannot do anything to Buhari because thay are all guilty of one crime,so they can risk to get exposed.MMM Nigeria will survive and thrive. If my money gets trapped in another fellow Nigerian MMM participant account,am happy because i helped a fellow brother.I am doing MMM because of the failed promises of APC govt.Dear house of Rep members, “CHANGE BEGINS WITH YOU” when you mind your own business.

  • MMM NIGERIA

Dear Hon. members equally set up an investigative committee to assess the current price of food commodities in the market and equate it to the purchasing power of the salary of Nigerians.I can eat two square meals today because of MMM Nigeria.

    • Tayo Johnson

You are now talking. Let us hold our Government at all levels to account. We elected them! Rather than engaging in activities that could damage the future of the nation, let us sweep out incompetent and unqualified ‘leaders’ who have nothing good to offer. I just heard that someone sold their business for N5M, and invested it all in this scheme. Suppose the scheme fails one day, would she not commit suicide?

      • Oluseyi Oyedapo

The system sounds a warning note to use your spare money, Anyone can go ahead and invest whatever they feel like investing or the risk they can bear. So, please brother Londoner, with all due respect, let us bear our risks. The present situation in this country is a horrible, pathetic systemic failure of our unapologetic leaders to show empathy and think of helping the people that voted them into power and over whom they govern. They have all lost foresight of what is right only thinking of what is good for them.I know they definitely have something to gain from this their so called clampdown on MMM, but they will fail and fail again.
        MMM ride on.

        • Oluseyi Oyedapo

Again Mr Tayo, the exchange rate of your currency [GBP] in Nigeria [NAIRA] should be enough to take care of all your needs. I too wouldn’t have touched MMM if i stay in UK

      • Charles Bennedith

Bros were you in Naija during the last election?

  • Deking ON Eth Onyeze

MR. Speaker with due respect, Nigerian government can join MMM Bitcoin to come out of recession. Because very soon another platform of MMM will be out where country can get help from other countries with 50% on it. Witchcraft is; you don’t want to help me and you don’t want me to help myself. Bankers keep fighting God’s divine inspiration on earth let’s see if you will not crash. No customer leaves money in the account anymore. Long Live MMM.

  • Trust only God

Federal govt did not give me a dime and as such cant tell me how to invest my money. i am waiting for instruction to bank in 200,000 any moment from now on MMM and if i lose so be it. life itself is risk. many have slept and never woke up but it did not stop others from taking the risk to sleep

    • Echt

Guy, thank you for that statement, like itself is a risk…

    • Charles Bennedith

I just banked 250k today and still waiting for further instruction for more.

      MMM for life

  • princegab

I am waiting to laugh at the end of mmm episode. Good Nigerians please do not fall victims.

    • Mbaba Uduak

Guy you go wait for like another 12 months or more. Just reserve the laugh.

    • Olufemi Odunayo

Make u dey laugh dey go na, while other people are getting profit on
their money on a monthly basis. Na there u go seeing ur mate making
      it….Mtchewww

  • samuel

the govt of nigeria have shown a great act of incompetency and greed to us… the want to feed alone while the masses suffer. bet9ja and nairabet have bin draining the pockect of nigerians and nothing have being said abt that one, just becos the re looking for mmm to come and pay tax to dem so dey can eat more money, they ve started saying all kinds of rubbis…………………………..MMM have taken criminals off the street and put food on peoples table………………………………………………………….long live MMM.

  • Sergei mavrodi is a mathematician, a computer programmer and one time senator in Russia parliament. He knew all this before that was why he had provided every necessary safe net for MMM to stand in time of war or evil forces from government and the enemies.
This are the few out of many reasons why MMM can not crash by any person, organisation, or government
1.MMM don’t have offline office or physical structure, that can be shut down
2.MMM has no central account anybody can freeze
3.MMM operates in 118 abroad countries so PH and GH are done globally
4.MMM uses bitcoin and wallet for transaction
5.MMM has guiders who are safe net
6.MMM has the strongest saver in the world
Therefore MMM has come to stay till the end of the world. The financial liberation. No panic, very soon Nigeria government will apologize to all Nigerians.
    Long live Sergei mavrodi
    Long live Nigeria MMM
    Long live mavrodians

      • All the schemes Nigeria has been regulating has any good come out of them!! Doesn’t Nigerian government regulate Loto, NIARA BET, Bet9ja etc yet ppl loose millions on those gamblings. It’s like you think through ur anus!!

        • thusspokez

You wouldn’t be a Nigerian if you don’t add insult into your often illogical comment.

        • ugonna maryanne

          MMM has come to stay

        • Tayo Johnson

I don’t agree with you, but I wouldn’t insult you. Listen, I happen to live in Europe, UK to be precise and I am also privileged to be in the legal profession here. If anyone tries any type of scheme like this here, they will be in jail. This is because it is illegal. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will never allow them to operate. There is a reason. Think about that.

          • Trust only God

come back to Nigeria i bet you will also invest in MMM. you live abraod and things are working for you. come to Nigeria and see suffering face to face. I will invest or about to invest 200k on MMM. if it fails so be it. life goes on.

If you are not wearing the shoe dont judge tayo

          • Tayo Johnson

Honestly I wouldn’t invest in MMM. I know that people are getting money from the scheme, but it is an illegal operation, which would end in tears. I will look into investing my money in other businesses, like Transportation, IT Consumables, even Mobile Phone accessories, etc. I know a man who learnt Tiling in the UK, after 3 years, went back to Nigeria, and became a big time player. Now having over 20 staff. If I came back to Nigeria, I would engage in the Building trade. If you have 200k, please invest it in other things. A bird in hand……..

          • Trust only God

thanks but no thanks. MMM is the best investment. 30% return in 1 month is simply amazing

          • Charles Bennedith

You kept calling MMM illegal, please can you elaborate how MMM is Illegal against EFCC’s statement that MMM is Legal?

            Which law makes MMM illegal?

Also with reference to other gambling sites, which one is supposed to stay and which one is supposed to give way?

          • Christopher

Tayo kindly uphold your views objectively here using my situation as a case study. I lost my job of 5 years with a multinational due to the current government’s harsh economic policies. Many coys downsized, others folded up outrightly. I was thrown to the unemployment market with a little baby boy and a marriage of 3 years. I roamed the streets of Lagos in search of a job. Twice I got swindled by a registered employment agency and I simply could not pay my bills anymore. My landlord was threatening to throw me out and before my very own eyes I see depression settling in on me coupled with the recession in the country. I woke up each day not knowing where my next bread will be buttered nor hope kindled. My son barely six months will need medication but no means of providing it. This is no doubt the story of 80% Nigerians living here. Today I’m able to pay my bills and take care of my family through MMM. Never have I defrauded anybody but I’ve been a victim of fraud severally with government being my biggest culprit. My financial assets on shares was worth #800,000 wen I invested in year 2003, today the same asset is worth #42,000. So who is the scammer here. If I live in UK like you, I won’t be involved in MMM. BUT Nigeria is a hopeless stead where no body cares about you.

          • Hero

i dont reply to comments but i have to reply to this… when you are in Rome you behave like a Roman. in Nigeria you behave like a Nigerian. pls tell any fucking runaway Nigerian to UK to pocket his facts and thoughts.. why did he run to UK? If you dey here u tink u no go do MMM?

          • Charles Bennedith

            Bros help me tell him.
            Why did he run?

          • Tayo Johnson

Okay, good question. Truly I came here many years ago, because there are better opportunities here then. Maybe there are still better opportunities. However, I do come to Nigeria fairly regularly. I was there throughout August and will be there in December. I do see people not doing very well, but still I come across a lot of people who have built their own houses from their own sweat, sending their children to private schools etc. I am not saying things are easy, but people do engage in legitimate businesses and they do also prosper. Priorities!

          • Charles Bennedith

What do you mean by built houses from their own sweat if not from their investment?
MMM is also a kind of investment and people have made it through it, read EFCC’s response to NAS regarding this subject, our Economic and Financial Crime Commission say MMM is Legal, so you should understand the group of people from the 16th Century that are standing as our leaders in this 22nd Century, this IT age, they are group jobless people looking for avenue to looth public fund, they want to create a new committee that will see too fighting MMM endlessly thereby collecting allowances for every sitting and unaccounted fund.

Let our Leaders focus on what is facing them, they know nothing about IT, how to make money with IT, Mark of Facebook is not selling tomatoes online yet he’s ranked the 5th richest in the world.

MMM is legal and I will invest my millions in it.

I just invested my hard earned 2million, it’s my money, it’s my risk.

I will advise you to invest in it rather than just keeping your money in the bank, and I know you will eventually want to join us as you get more knowledge about it, You provide help for your fellow Nigerian, you get help back in 30 days with 30% sure interest, please can any bank offer you that?
use my referer link when you decide to join us because surely I know you will do if not now but later. Please use my email as your invite: udonuche {at} gmail dot com

          • Bassey

It is quite unfortunate, sarcastic and shameful for any individual, government or
organization to think of investigating the activities of MMM. What is there to
investigate? Has MMM ever stolen money from any bank, individual or government?
By the way, who bears the risk? In a rightful sense, it is the individual who
use his/her money the way he/she likes that bears the outcome. This is
testament to the fact that the committee so setup to investigate the activities
of MMM has lost it focus. Why can’t they focus on the austerity measures in
hardship Nigerians are facing and come out with solutions, why can’t they
inform the presidency that Nigerians are dying of starvation or are they
ashamed that MMM is helping. Which one is better?
The house that doesn’t care about the sufferings of Nigerians by allotting big
sum for themselves while myself and relatives suffer in abject penury, passing
of bills for increase of minimum wage is like holding scorpion with bare hand
or it is the church that is extorting money from members in the name of seed
sowing, vows, deliverance fees, buying of anointing water or anointing oil and
other such like things from their helpless members without giving back to them.
Why can’t the so-called committee investigate their own escapades and these
            churches and their leaders?
Please, the committee should be informed that Nigerians deserved their respect; their banks
account is growing fatter as the seconds go by, while Nigerians grow tinnier as
the day pass by. Leave participants of MMM and MMM alone, improve the lives of
            Nigerians if you can.

          • Bassey

That’s right, why using the EFCC? what crime is there in participating
in MMM? if the House is not afraid there should personally go to the street and
stop the economically distressed youth. They should not sit in an air conditioned
cars, air conditioned houses and air conditioned offices and send zombie to
fight on the street over an errand they can’t accomplish. They are talking about Nigerians committing suicide should MMM fail. are they not watching on TV how people are dying every day from heart attack because of the poor standard of living. In fact they are even killing much more people than the suicide they are talking about.

          • Charles Bennedith

Please come back and base in Nigeria, you will understand.

Stop commenting from afar what does not affect you

          • Toughie Man

Go and read European economic history. All these have existed in one form or the other. Even in advanced economies like America, there are similar schemes but since they serve the need of the people, they dont bother anybody. They are all concerned at protecting their citizens. MMM has immensely ameliorated the hardship and deep economic pains inflicted by the govt that should have save her citizens. Why MMM has smooth sailing in nigeria, is primarily from the poor govt economic policies that the citizens find it difficult to survive. This is silent protest, the impoverished students, the struggling housewives, the underpaid policemen, Effc, customs, soldiers and every strata of the society are deeply in MMM. For now, there is no alternative to MMM. Until we come to where Europe you are enjoying now is, MMM go ahead. Come and conduct a survey about MMM, you will discover, members of the academic community are into it, the oil and gas workers have put millions of Naira into the scheme. So come to think of it, Nigeria economy does not have to be UK, because colonialism has placed us in this economic quagmire. Full Stop!

        • uug

dont mind these govt paid fools… so beting is not a fraud ? abi

      • Oluebube Maduka

Then what has Nigerian government done so far in terms of Production and job opportunity. They are very selfish, let them use those money they are looting and build a standard economy.

        • Tayo Johnson

Thank you. Very good question. We must then proceed to hold our government to account for the mandate given to them to govern us. We must challenge their inactivity and financial recklessness in the civil courts by forming civil societies, to harness our collective power. And then every four years, also we can vote out any under-performing government at every level. That’s the beginning.

          • MMM

There is right to freedom of choice ain’t it? No one should be scared coz that’s the only thing that can make MMM crack down. I want to say something, let’s all protest if some morons try nonsense. MMM is Democratic in nature coz its money for d people, from d people n by the people. How come fg world wide support pool game where people lose money n don’t support this? Coz there isn’t tax for them right? There something called legitimacy so we r equal, we will strike if u people try anything. If u say MMM will crash one day, let it we r waiting. This is coz u people don’t understand the scheme. I know of two people who committed suicide coz of change, they wouldn’t have if they were in MMM. This is our hard earned money money n we have right over our money. I think fg should arrange a scheme like this n make theirs 50% for 5% to go to gov. People can give it a thought. I’m just saying this as advice to u people coz people don’t mind dying if u try stopping MMM. Fg will be shocked @ what people will do. Once, we have right in this country n no one is forced to do MMM. Long live mavro jare! Like MMM is d only chain business in d country. U people should stay off our nerves coz we understand d risks in MMM, dont tell us.

      • Charles Bennedith

Brother that is a very good statement, very eloquent in speech, but keep naratting the scheme you do not know about let’s keep making our money.
MMM is not for the government, it’s for the masses, so let govt face the recession and leave us alone

      • Jodine Henri

there is no fear in MMM…..MMM does not need any regulation from any government because it is HELP and help has no regulation…have it in mind that what you are doing is HELP….when you help….other will help you…

    • thusspokez

I despair when I read comments like yours. It gives me very little or no hope for Nigeria with your mindset. When someone choose to jump off a cliff even when people around them are pointing out the danger, such a person can’t be helped.– It is a person determined to commit suicide. The danger for Nigeria is if it turns out that there are many people like that.

MMM is a mutual online financial free. It does not collect any money from any one and its has not been proving fraudulent coz you “provide help and you get help”. The house of Rep, i beg you to treat this matter maturely without patronizing.

  • Mbaba Uduak

MMM is a miracle. How the system keeps distributing the help evenly among participants without they seeing or touching the money, it’s simply amazing. I just wish the government or the Reps can adopt a system like this to distribute the national wealth among Nigerians, oh, there will be no poor in the land. Instead they are using it to buy more cars distributing among how many members., abeg e. MMM is now a way of life.

    • Senator D

That’s curios… Heard about MMM from my wife and it’s spreading like wide fire. Someone invested 5-million few days ago and am like, what?!

      • Charles Bennedith

        I invested more than that

  • Elliot Lucky

MMM is a helping community, it do not concern mmm with fraudulent, the only thing Federal Governance should talk about is gambling like bet9ja, papa Ijebu, Naira bet. Our country Nigeria Need development, this platform help many youth to start their small scale business, and this platform do not affect any bank transaction, this is a reciprocal platform which help individual to manage their resources and use their resources to help others, Dear My country people lack of information is a poverty development, any person that do not listen or solve human problem is a fraudulent(s) and a devil.

    • Toluboy

      TO ALL ENEMIES OF MMM
It’s high time we call a spade a spade. The earlier the better for FG, House of Rep, CBN, all Banks and Bloggers to be careful and takeoff their dirty, stinky mouth from the rate at which they mouth-spoil MMM. As a matter of fact, the only reason why Nigerians most especially youths are not on the street demanding for Buhari’s head is because of God sent schemes like MMM. If they don’t know, let us tell them that WE (participant of MMM) can decide to stop patronizing banks(switching to bitcoin) if they (FG, CBN and local banks) will not see reasons to stop given us issues . Are they blind to see or deaf to hear the news of how a particular president in Africa encourages Youths to take up the opportunities. I believe they know MMM is the CHANGE we’ve been praying for long ago. If they don’t backout, the banks and Nigeria economy will end up regretting because they will end up forcing us to create and promote a platform where we buy and sell in Bitcoin (The Hard Way Sometimes is The Best Way). A country that can not provide jobs for the hungry educated youth, security, nor good standard of living now preaching against one of the major means of survival for the masses. They all better be careful or we take it hard on them. This is a Revolution.
Let them be aware that this community (MMM) is a community of learned people cutting across all professions at different levels (Guess what? A Professor is in my Structure).
The fight against MMM is a Fight against Nigerians and we won’t take the threat lightly with individuals, groups, organization, government or people involved. We are ready and prepared to fight. And to you Hon. Akinade Fijabi, this might be the end of your political career if you are not careful, as that speech made is a sign of selfishness and wickedness.

MMM IS THE CHANGE WE PRAYED FOR
      MMM IS THE ANSWERED PRAYER
      MMM IS REAL

Please fed govt of Nigeria, we need help on the insecurity perpetrated by Boko Haram and others. MMM is not a security threat to us. We love it, it is at our own risk, we can handle it.

The house of assemly derive pleasure seeing people suffer, how much are you salaries, does that not constitute risk to Nigeria suffering masses. What is MMM risk to the suffering masses of Nigeria. We have participated joyfully until your intruding to cause pain to those who have provided help and are anticipating to get help.

Please leave MMM alone. seek Nigerians opinion first and find out what think about MMM. Long live MMM Nigeria. No shaking.

Don’t worry yourself no body can do that, ask yourself how possible, if China, S/Africa, Russia etc govt tried who is house of RAPE

  • Taylor

Dont worry my MMM peaople, you dont expect old men in the house to understand the how MMM works. These guys are in their 50s and 60s and even 70s. How can they understand ? While these so called law makers earn millions every month from in salaries and allowances the fix minimum wage at 18k. MMM is intangible, ordering a crackdown means that they are yet to do their home work i.e understand what the nature of the scheme.

  • Senator D

My wife told me about MMM and how her colleagues are investing heavily into the scheme and am like what? If this system really works then the Government should adopt it via money deposit banks and other instruments of government….

    • Christopher

Noooooo! Govt adopt what? The day govt hands in MMM then the end of dat lofty dream is sealed. Then they will appoint one loyal party man to head it and embezzle people’s funds.

  • MYSELF

My problem with Nigerian govt is that they want us to remain poor so that during elections they can convince us with salts and bag of rice to vote for them, The same federal Govt that allows gambling in the name of Merrybet, Surebet, Bet9ja etc, is talking about fraud……….The same govt that warns that smokers are liable to die young but allows sales of cigratte are talking about MMM, the same govt that earns millions as allowances but placed minimum wage at 18k are talking about MMM, If MMM crashes we will hold the govt responsible and i bet there will be protest everywhere because Sergio Mavrodi is not in custody of anybody’s money. Federal Govt are the biggest fraud, saddists, and ”infact i lack words” i have ever seen…………………LONG LIVE MMM

A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation where the operator, an individual or organization, pays returns to its investors from new capital paid to the operators by new investors, rather than from profit earned through legitimate sources. Operators of Ponzi schemes usually entice new investors by offering higher returns than other investments, in the form of short-term returns that are either abnormally high or unusually consistent.

Ponzi schemes occasionally begin as legitimate businesses, until the business fails to achieve the returns expected. The business becomes a Ponzi scheme if it then continues under fraudulent terms. Whatever the initial situation, the perpetuation of the high returns requires an ever-increasing flow of money from new investors to sustain the scheme.

It’s the lack of good business strategy and greed on the part of our bankers and CBN with the active connivance of the government in power who sits over defective laws that encourages high level of corruption that gave birth to MMM Nigeria.

These so called lawmakers who are saying they want to save Nigerians from themselves and Mavrodi are the brain behind our sufferings, they own banks with funds stolen from our commonwealth and encourages same banks to give out loans with crazy returns and collateral that ranges from you bringing all the documents attached to your name from childbirth and the head of your dead great grand father from 50 yrs back before you can be granted a loan of 100k while these same crooks collects billions in loans without little or no collateral which ultimately leads to banks folding up with peoples hard earned monies.

Now, because God has blessed us with a sure source of raising capitals for our respective needs and businesses the banks are now feeling threatened because we don’t need them and their crazy loans anymore. This is the height of greed and man’s inhumanity against another, they just want to enslave us in perpetual poverty.

They want to use their crooked friends in the lawless chambers to destroys our source of joy and happiness…….NEWS FLASH peeps it’s not your money, so you all can go jump into the lagoon for all we care!!!

Even if it crashes, which is not even possible because the system does not allow greedy fellows like you people to manipulate it. It’s a well grounded structured system which is even being upgraded from time to time so the issue of it crashing will not even arise.

My sincere advice is that the Nigerian government should focus and create a better platform that will provide better help than what we are currently getting from MMM, that’s the only way to stop us from dealing with the team.

It’s a no brainier for any government that wants it’s people to be prosperous in their business which ultimately leads to more taxes being generated from such schemes into the government coffers for industrial development revolution.

Every agent being used to scuttle this fantastic scheme will not only bear the wrath of the people but experience the ultimate wrath of God.
