Nigeria’s secret police, SSS, raides judges’ residences in Abuja, five states

img-20161008-wa0011

The State Security Service on Friday executed an overnight raid on the residences of senior judges across the country, recovering huge cash and documents linking the judges to exotic properties and suspected corrupt practices.

The reason for the raids are not immediately clear, but sources said the operatives stormed the residences in search of evidences linking the judges to corruption.

The judges were however not arrested.

The operation was carried out simultaneously in the capital Abuja and in Sokoto, Port Harcourt, Kano, Enugu and Gombe.

Multiple sources said the clampdown began in Gombe State where the SSS moved against Justice Muazu Pindiga, who served on the elections tribunal in Rivers State.

In Abuja, official quarters of Justices Sylvester Ngwuta and John Okoro of the Supreme Court were besieged by the SSS for several hours overnight. The operation continued into early Saturday morning.

Also in the capital, the SSS stormed the homes of Nnamdi Dimgba and Adeniyi Ademola, both of the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, located inside the Apo Legislative Quarters.

Both judges are neighbours on Samuel Ogbemudia street of the Apo quarters.

A source, who pleaded anonymity, said Mr. Dimgba’s residence was surrounded on Friday night.

It is not clear why he was targeted but the judge recently gave a decision against the continued detention of a retired Air Commodore, Mohammed Umar.

Mr. Umar was arrested following allegations of fraud, illegal possession of firearms and abuse of trust. He was granted bail with a bond of N100 million.

Justice Dimgba had in his ruling ordered the SSS to release Mr. Umar or risk being committed by his court, the source, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, explained. The SSS failed to obey the order and continued to hold Mr. Umar.

In Rivers State, Governor Nyesom Wike and the police prevented the SSS from accessing the home of Justice Mohammed Liman of the Port Harcourt Division of the Federal High Court.

The officers reportedly stormed the home of the judge at 35 Forces Avenue, Port-Harcourt, the state capital.

A statement by Mr. Wike’s spokesman, Oraye Francis, said the operation was led by the Rivers State Director of SSS, Tosin Ajayi.

The operatives, “rough-handled Governor Wike, pushing him around and injuring his hand,” Mr. Francis said. “A few of the operatives cocked their rifles and threatened to shoot the Governor.”

No reason has been officially given by the SSS for Saturday’s raids and the agency currently has no spokesperson.

    Boooooom!
    Boomerang!

  • Debaptist

It used to be charge and bail Lawyers now we have cash and carry Judges. Shameless people who don’t care what posterity will say about them. If the oyibos were like that only God knows how the legal practice would have been developed and sustained through the ages. I am ashamed of Nigerian Judges, no matter what the SSS do people will misinterpret their intentions. Too many things are wrong with the system.

  • George

Yesterday I said it here that the Northerners will look for away to annul Justice Walter Onoghen chance from becoming the nation Chief Justice some people accused me and within 24hours DSS went to the man who supposed to be the next Chief Justice of Federation to arrest him and three other justices.

The reason of adding other Judges is just to make the arrest look like investigations but the real man they want to embarrass is Justice Walter Onoghen and make sure he won’t be the next Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

THIS IS WHAT WE ADVISED GOODLUCK TO DO DURING INEC JEGA but he mumuditily refused then and he was ring out of the last election and this cow head president Buhari is fully aware that you don’t give your enemy group the power to render you useless, this is the reason the Northerners remain very solid because they know when to struck their enemies before they becomes formidable, eg plan to reduce Tinubu included.

    • HAMZA

……during the last election, GEJ simply and very clearly had no better choice – Nigerian people had spoken and very loudly through the ballot…..and a certain country’s armed men and their lethal security operatives were already in a neighbouring country waiting to see whether GEJ would take a dose of orubebemecine for them to unleash the needful!!!

    • new republic

Wait first,he could be the next supreme court judge bet his hand might not clean, wait for more evidence, the way you analyse it you might be right but if there is solid proof,he played to hands of hausa fulani,Ebenezer babatope ounce said it that hausa fulani plan a lot ahead.

  • marig

Time to clean up the judiciary. Just watch what the aiders of corruption will be saying even on this forum. Premium times is calling it “gestapo style” already. The fact is that security agency will not make any move without a court order and without concrete evidence. America, the bastion of democracy civil rights comes down heavily on corrupt judges. lets do the same here and fight corruption.

    • Keen Observer

      Very good submission, Kudos @disqus_SJLhsMiPA9:disqus

    • SayNo2Tribalism

@premiumtimes ‘Gestapo style’ seriously? No law defines time of arrest/raid. DSS has warrant. Judges are human. Do not pander to corruption apologists. Immunity does not give Wike the right to obstruct justice.

    • taiwo

Make I hear word abeg. Do you really believe that this government of PMB is serious with fight against corruption? How many corrupt officials have been convicted? All these are just distractions. If truly the judges are corrupt, let the government come out with facts. Even the cabinet members of PMB are corrupt. Many northern Muslim politicians and security officials are corrupt but the president only sees the southerner that are corrupt. I agree with B. Mess I that its all about plans to appoint another northern Muslim as the next Chief justice of Nigeria. Despite the impunity during GEJ regime, he was still known for fairness and equity when it comes to appointments.

      • Niyi Akinlabu

If this government is not ‘serious with the fight against corruption’, which is? Is it Dumbo Furtunato’s government that bled us all dry?

        • taiwo

I don’t support previous government of GEJ either but PMB needs to run an inclusive government while fighting corruption. Nigeria belongs to all of us including the so called minority. The economy needs honest attention too. People are interested in results and not in blame game

    • sab

Is this how to clean a perceived bad system? Whatever has happened to due process? Where in the world is arresting judges become a civil way of cleaning a system?

    • Niyi Akinlabu

Let the clean up begin, my brother!

    • Kallah Bature

Thanks Maria. With concrete evidence , corrupt judges must be tamed. This is the only way corruption will be brought to it’s knees.PMB must apply Philippines President’s style to achieve meaningful change in the system. We can’t wait anymore.

  • B. Messi

Below is the ‘unofficial’ but REAL REASON for this onslaught:

“The official quarters of Walter Onoghen, who was RECENTLY RECOMMENDED to President Buhari as THE NEXT Chief Justice of Nigeria”

    * Mr Onoghen is the MOST senior justice of the supreme Court.
    * Mr Onoghen is from Cross Rivers state.
    * The two next in line are Messrs Ibrahim Muhammad and Suleiman Galadima.
    * Those two are Northern Muslims from Bauchi & Nasarawa States respectively.
    * 90% of buhari’s key appointments in where matter most are Northern Muslims.

    * WHEN WE THE DISCERNING SPOKE, WE WERE CALLED BIGOTS BY THE NAIVE GULLIBLE E-ZOMBIES..UNTIL THEY NOTICED THE ORGANISED MOVES TO MESS UP THEIR gOD TINUBU.
It will be DAFTNESS of the highest order if the SW e-slaves still fail to understand the game of the Northern-oligarchs APC block.
They are headed for the belly of the Tiger.
    I dey laff ooooo!

    • wode

      Conjectures…

    • kinsly

Shut up I beg. U no dey tire sef.

  • aquaticrose

    @B.Messi:

To my own mind there is no way this quasi-military operation can be called off midway after Buhari ordered
a virtual armed invasion of the JUDICIARY 24 hours after he let off all accused criminals in the Legislature
by withdrawing criminal charges in court. The paradox is striking. There may be a nexus. Who knows?
It is abnormal to round up Supreme Court Judges without probable cause of a treasonous dimension.
Although it is likely that bags of money being passed round are intended to be intercepted en route.
These speculations will give way only when President Buhari speaks on his ordered military attack.

  • Funsho A.

Buhari brazenly continues with his Nepotism acts and some scoundrels applaud??
Is this not clearly an attempt to make sure you northern Muslim gets the position of CJN? Is this not how the gullible applauded till buhari put the entire nations security in the hands of these same people?
It will dawn on these gullible men they have been used and dumped as 2019 closes in.

    • holy warrior

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL JUSTICE Walter Onoghen BE PUSHED OUT TO GIVE WAY
TO ANOTHER HAUSA/FULANI CHIEF JUSTICE OF NIGERIA IN 29 YEARS DOMINATION OF THE
SUPREME COURT BY THE NORTHERNERS AFTER JUSTICE IRIKEFE RETIRED AS THE LAST
SOUTHERN CHIEF JUSTICE OF NIGERIA. IF BUHARI WANTS TO DO JIHAD THE CHRISTIAN
COMMUNITY SHOULD UNITE AND BEAT SOME SENSE INTO THESE SENSELESS JIHADISTS.

      • B. Messi

But the likes of pastor Osinbajo are supposedly part of this Christian community.
He either sees nothing wrong with buhari’s ethno-religious cleansing or is too scared to speak out.
I remember the gullible saying he(osinbajo) will protect the Xtian interests?
        LOL!

        • Abimbola

You are not making sense. Do you expect the VP to rush down with his own security details to counter them?

      • Abidilagungun

That is their plan and we must be aware and oppose it. Thank you.

    • adeyemo

I agree with you that this is nothing but act of nepotism. I just love the way premium times reported this using gestapo style because that simply means terrorist methods against persons suspected of disloyalty especially in the brutal suppression of opposition: This new regime is using gestapo tactics since inception to silent the opposition.

    • wode

I told you not to rush into hasty judgement… Have you started hearing what was found in the judges houses. This explains why the Governor of a state would wake up in the middle of the night in the name of the “Chief Security of the state” to prevent the arrest of a High Court Judge. The bubbles have started bursting. Everybody can now see the reason for the very disgusting judgement being dished out, even at the Supreme Court!!!

  • wode

“In Rivers State, police and SSS officials on Saturday morning reportedly assaulted Governor Nyesom Wike after he attempted to prevent them from arresting a judge.”

…and why would a Governor try to prevent the Security officers from carrying out their job. A governor should know where to handle/start his own case. It’s not to be physically present at a scene of arrest and trying to issue counter authority to a different institution.

    • tuby NY

VERY well written bro.. d details/reason wuld surely be stated shortly by d govt.

    • Duruoha1

Gentlemen, there’s process to carry out such action. Why must it be Rivers by the way?

      • wode

I think you need to read the news again. This is not only Rivers and it’s not about Rivers, at least from all I can see. It’s about some judges. So, let’s disabuse our minds from sentiment. What interest does the Governor has in the incident in the first place? It didn’t happen in his state alone.

Can a nation be great in the face of ethno-religious agenda by the ‘king’?
    Is it Biblical?

      • MathewBabs

  • abc

  • Watch man

There must be a reason for arresting the judges. So let us wait until the agency makes their statement. Besides, corruption has made over 700 cases to be waiting unattended to in Nigeria courts with some lasting for over ten years. Which other injustice could be worse than this?

  • Godson

I’m really surprised at some dump comments here and it really saddens me because how can you justify such a commando style arrest without dues process, have you guys forgotten so fast that we operate a democratic system under the rule of law? If corrupt judges as some of claim are whisked away like that then who will arrest the corrupt executives? This is flagrant abuse of power and must be condemned by every sane mind.

    • TAWANDA INCOMMUNICADO

      • raji

  • Sean

THE ARRESTS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH DEMOCRACY INFACT IT WILL EMBOLDEN OUR DEMOCRACY. NO DEMOCRACY CAN SURVIVE IN THE FACE OF MASSIVE CORRUPTION. THE WORLD LEADERS IN DEMOCRACY WOULD HAVE DONE SUCH. THE WORLD HAVE SEEN CORRUPT GOVT OFFICIALS JAILED IN WESTERN COUNTRIES. THOSE THAT ARE AGAINST THIS ARE PEOPLE WHO WANT NIGERIA TO FAIL AS A NATION SO THAT THEIR FALSE AND MISPLACED AGGITATION FOR SUCCESSION WOULD SUCCEED BUT THEY HAVE ONCE AGAIN FAILED. IF THIS IS WHAT TYRANNY MEANS THEN RELEVANT NIGERIANS ARE HAPPY. TYRANNY HAS BEEN INFLICTED ON NIGERIAN MASSES THROUGH TREASURY LOOTING. HIE CAN WE MOVE FORWARD IN A COUNTRY WHERE THE JUDICIARY IS CORRUPT AND PSEUDO JUSTICE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER? THE JUDICIARY IS KNOWN TO BE THE HOPE OF A COMMON MAN, BUT ITS TURNED TO THE PALACE OF SLAUGHTER OF THE POOR. SOME IGBOS AND NIGER DELTANS ARE THE ONES HAILING CORRUPTION AND INJUSTICE AS A WAY TO GO. NIGERIA IS BIGGER THAN ANY TRIBE. BUHARI MUST DO THE NEEDY FOR THE FUTURE OF NIGERIANS UNBORN NOT THE ONES HAILING CORRUPTION BASED ON ETHNIC SENTIMENTS. THE WESTERN WORLD GAVE BUHARI THE ORDER TO PURGE THE JUDICIARY AND PROSECUTE LOOTERS. THE WAILERS CAN CONTINUE TO WAIL WHILE THE EFFCC PERFORM THEIR STATUTORY DUTY.

    • Lorgne

Good one sean, but please next time do not shout at your readers. When you write in bold, in IT parlance it is shouting at your reader.

      • Sean

It was the intent to boldly express myself to the understanding of the readers that resulted in the caps! Bold and caps aren’t known in our cultural area as shouting but to strongly highlight and yes if I was commenting in an international forum, it will differ! And who would blame me even if my intention was to shout, who wouldn’t shout when people are celebrating looters at their own expense? They’re lucky if they’re shouted at cos if it were to be in China, these bast…ds would have been hanged before anyone comments here

        • Adewale

I love your response. Let them continue to wail since they share from the loot of the corrupt politicians, judges and public officials. Naturally, anyone that has benefitted from corruption in one way or the other will be afraid.

  • bigbang

    The story don’t add up.

  • dami

The DSS and police did not use enough force to effect this arrest, they should cordoned off the judges premises for two blocks surrounding it and asked the judge to come out using a megaphone, they would of course identified themselves at least the judges cannot say he does not know the commissioner of police.
If this fails they should of used what is called “knock knock” by US law enforcement to forcibly enter and arrest him and also charged him for resisting arrest and obstructing justice.
When police want to arrest any other Nigerian they don’t send letter of invite…so why different for these guys? Who the hell are they? Humans like you and I? Have they been upholding justice all the while? Why do they want to be treated nicely all of a sudden?
    Bloody thieves and rogues.

      • dami

Oh so you read it that they did not have a warrant of arrest?

Illiteracy = hunger = impaired thinking = theft = more hunger.

  • Niyi Akinlabu

We need more drastic action against corruption and its proponents. As a people, when we are nice enough to apply “Rule Of Law” in the strict sense, we will. For now, LET THE GREAT CLEAN-UP BEGIN!

    • nixon

Yes it will start from the beating up your parents. How do you like that? You cannot drive evil away with evil. We have laws, it is the bedrock of our society, so we must protect it.

      • Babanla

It’s a pity my parents are dead but I never insulted them for one day. Rouges don’t deserve any respect. It’s a pity that we have become a society that is politically correct and right becomes wrong. I hope some people are not beginning to lose their minds to believe that corruption does not matter. We never had any law in Nigeria but mere fabrications of the elite to punish the poor. When a politician steals billions and is about to be arrested he will claim human rights and use the corrupt judges to frustrate the process. Meanwhile a hungry young man who steals N2000, after being publicly disgraced and beaten will be sentenced to 3 years in prison. Do you call this one a just society?

        • I sigh

A country without laws (you admitted) is not a country like many have been saying that Nigeria is a Zoo.

    • Babanla

Right on point bro. Your head dey there. I wish I was a DSS official at that scene in Rivers. I would use the opportunity to slap corruption out of the governor and if I have to apologize later I may consider it. He had no business descending that low to slug things out with ordinary officers when their boss who he could have summoned was cooling off in the office.

    • Darlington

May impunity and lawlessness reign in your family.

Welcome to full blown DICTATIONSHIP! Buhari was definitely sent to destroy this contraption called Nigeria. The time is now. Where the likes of Soyinkas, Falanas, Soludos, Ezekwesilis of this world? Nigeria has officially become a policed state.

  • Darlington

Buhari is turning Nigeria into a police state of lawlessness, where lawfulness will become lawlessness.

    • Babanla

Did we ever have a constitution in the first place not to talk of law? Rule of law only works in Ghana or elsewhere but not until after they took this approach. Go figure it out.

  • Suruchukwu Igbogambo

    BUHARI,DSS AND PAKISTAN:
On March 9, 2007, Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf suspended Supreme Court Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry from his duties on the Court in response to Chaudhry’s challenges to his Presidency. Interpreted as an attempt to reduce the power and independence of the judicial branch, the Pakistani legal community organized immediately to reverse the decision. Lawyers from across the political spectrum immediately organized protests and rallies throughout the country. The very first demonstration was a picket line that took place outside the Supreme Court building in Islamabad on the day of Chief Justice Chaudhry’s trial. The activist lawyers, known as “Men-In-Black”, led several protests in Islamabad gaining a lot of attention and support from the Pakistani media. After the trial, Chief Justice Chaudhry also went on a speaking tour. He visited several counties throughout the country explaining the anti-democratic behaviors of the Pakistani government.
Musharraf retaliated with a violent repression sending a strong police force that used tear-gas, baton-charges, mass-arrests, and torture against these initial demonstrations. The lawyers remained resilient and began to hold weekly rallies in downtown areas especially in the cities of Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore where Pakistani High Courts and large Bar Associations are located. By June, Musharraf felt forced to reinstate Chief Justice Chaudhry. However, the victory was only temporary because Chief Justice Chaudhry continued to put pressure on the government to follow more democratic procedures and clean up the corruption, including demanding the release the names of those who had been ‘disappeared’ in the “War on Terror.” In November, the Court was to rule on the legality of Musharraf’s prior re-election, which had been very controversial; however, claiming that it was necessary to combat terrorism, Musharraf declared a state of emergency on November 3 in all of Pakistan and enacted a Provisional Constitutional Order that suspended the constitution without judicial oversight. In response, two-thirds of Pakistan’s senior judges refused to accept the emergency rule and lawyers of the Sindh High Court in Karachi defied the order by conducting “business-as-usual”. In response to this defiance, the police arrested lawyers and judges at the Sindh High Court and all across the country. They entered offices, libraries, and even bars to round up more than 25,000 lawyers and judges and put them into jail.

    • Babanla

So what’s the meaning of this essay in English? The judicial system needs a hard reset; logging of and back on through our courts or NJC is a dead approach. This is the way to go if we must get results. No vex bro.

I am reading what seems to be the majority of Nigerians supporting the Secret police on this news. It is impossible to convince those with the mindset to the contrary possibly due to loyalty to personalities involves. It really will be ideal to separate the country called Nigeria and allow people to live with the behaviour and treatment depicted in the news item. Personally I am glad not to live in such a society. Thanks to my God.

The language Nigerians understand is gradually unfolding to the excitement of Nigerians. Every Nigerian desirous of real and quick change knows the vultures would want to roll the achievements of this regime backward by colluding to frustrate the due process. Meanwhile, we must understand that justice is not synonymous to the verdicts of the courts. People are quick to say the president is unjust since he refused to comply with outrageous court verdicts. The courts are supposed to dispense justice, but what is just, goes beyond their pronouncements. We have seen time and again where a commoner would steal N2000 and would be jailed for three years while an elite would steal billions of Naira and would be allowed to go scot free. The time has come to rid the country of bad elements and no negative force can stop that. The vultures are already mobilizing their army of evil elements. We must not be caught unaware.

Don’t worry this is how Abacha started when he killed Saro Wiwa the North and the South West rejoiced but little did them know that the hottest rude of Abacha action is reserved for them.

      God is still in Heaven.

Don’t worry, you evil Northerners will soon feel the heat.

If the DSS have concrete evidence against these judges, then they should by all means be given the maximum treatment.
Judges in Nigeria have become the biggest threats to the institutional fabric of our society. Nigerian judges have criminally arrogated to themselves the power to discharge and acquit as they arbitrarily determine what constitute crime and punishment.
Nigerians do not realise that the kind of impunity that this breeds is the foundation for the total destruction of order and sanity in our society. That is the precursor to insanity and total anarchy – because members of society now realise that might is right; that you can get away with murder; that the only thing standing in your way is your ability to commit it.
For me the greatest threat to the continued existence of our society is not the sleazy politician, the slimy bureaucrat or the advance fee fraudster. It is the licensed rogue sitting on the bench, with a wig and a robe, disguised as his lordship.

The judiciary is making people loose confidence in the Courts. If you are cheated out, just lick your wound and relax seems to be the message being passed by their judgements.
Please note that we have judges of high moral standing and integrity who should be encouraged so that the others will play catch up.

I supported Buhari for arresting the judges, the corrupt system has ruined Nigeria. This is the only country where the wife of the President laundered $35 million and another $40 million has been found and country remained without people getting out to protest. The people have accepted slavery by the selected Senators and dishonorable members. The judiciary has consistently supported the corrupt politicians and the wife of the President who laundered so much amount, with which a General Hospital could be built. Recently, in Brazil, a Minister of Finance of past government was found to have misappropriated $1million + face a inquiry regarding misappropriation of funds. In Nigeria, misappropriation of $100 million or billion of dollars have no meaning to the populace, The Judges have been helping the political class to steal the public funds, when they are challenged in Court, the Judges release them… Ibori Case and the perpetrator was later jailed in London. God bless Nigeria, the Judges should be harassed and arrested if done something wrong. Nigerian need a Dictator like Buhari to rule the thieves who does not believe in law. Victor Oyewole London

    • Factsay

is that how they harrass judges in ur london? Come back to Nigeria so that police will harrass u and u know how it feels. This how u people support evil until evil invades ur very home and u will start crying

      • DanJ

UK judges jailed Ibori…. After he was set free in Nigeria!

Such judgement injures the integrity of our judiciary.

      • Larry Fapohunda

London judges will never behave like thieving judges we have in Nigeria

      • Guest

Don’t jump to conclusion yet my brother, there is no fire without a smoke. This President Bihari respect the independence of our judiciary, and separation of power, DSS are only doing their constitutional duties. Don’t be surprised when the facts of this raids start leaking out.

      • Abanj

YES the police in London makes unannounced raids!!! On celebrities and on public officials!!

        • Factsay

          Liar

        • Factsay

They raid only drug dealers, yahoo boys and illegal immigrants

    • marc umeh

Since the judges have learned to bury the money for their bedroom, DSS have learned to pursue them go there !!!

  • Babanla

DSS will soon make public how many millions of dollars were found in the houses of these judges. They acted on a tip off after getting the full details of how billions changed hands days before the hearing of the cases of Rivers, Delta and Akwa Ibom states governors at the Supreme Court. Is anyone surprised how all of them got similar judgements? Cases that have been decided at the court of appeal and the election of these so-called governors set aside all of a sudden was upturned in their favor at the Supreme Court. Wonders will never end. Please flush all the corrupt judges out of our judicial system. Our judiciary is now for the highest bidder. I am even afraid that we might never get anything out of the ongoing high profile cases like that of Saraki etc.

    • Right Minded

You are mad! What about Buhari’s forged Certificate saga which has been thrown out of d court? What could be more corrupt than that? A President who is ruling with a forged School cert certficate cannot av any meaning decision coming out of his maggot brain.

  • Adam A

Nice one bcos d judiciary is a clog in d wheels of progress against corruption in this country. Sai Buhari!

    • Factsay

U b uncultured and uncivilized person

    • aisha ani

      Sai Buhari!

      • Sandra

        Heil Buhari!!!

  • Factsay

power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Buhari is a corrupt dictator that wants to intimidate judiciary to dance to his whims

  • Factsay

DSS have become Buhri’s attacking dogs as in the celebrated “Animal Farm” witten by George Orwell.

History repeating itself. A dictator is always a dictator!!

  • McAlfred Uta

DSS should rely more on intelligence in tracking slush funds if any. This gestapo style is what dents the image of the country and drives investors away. When we decry lack of foreign direct investment and divestment by foreign companies, even the ones who should be intelligent enough to advise government, chose to blame previous government lack of savings for the current economic quagmire. For those applauding this ancient and nihilistic approach, Now Your Suffering Continues (NYSC) unabated and without predictable end date?

    • Abanj

not a very intelligent statement. DSS should rely more on intelligence – DID THEY NOT FIND MONEY ??? ANd anyone who knows simple economics will tell you that when a country is at the bottom of corruption index, when a country has no money for infrastructure, when a country has not provided jobs to ensure its citizens have disposable income – FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT will not be encouraged except those that are dodgy!

  • aisha ani

Why did they not shoot the Governor?

    • Da CEO

They are waiting to wipe off your entire family before shooting him!
      Asshole

      • aisha ani

I take it you are one of the family of orangutans that the SSS is trying to wipe off.

        • I sigh

Your master and lord at Aso Rock had already given you the name Baboons and Monkeys and you cant share it with Da CEO.

  • KogiArena

Hope they recover the money Yahaya Bello of Kogi gave supreme court Justice Ngwuta …. Kogi’s 7bn must be returned oh!

    • Babanla

Aaah! You mean N7b is already missing in just few months? Na wa o. Yahaya Bello that was seen as a rep of the youth among the committee of governors seem to even understand the ‘game’ more than the older ones. Where are we going in this country?

    • marc umeh

If na you them give am , you no go take .?
      Yahaya Bello day complain?
      Abeg go rest .

  • Burning Spear

the intolerance of Bingo Buhari–your spiriitual mentor is worse than Obasanjo’s and that of Adolf Hitler. When he was adopted as the ANPP’s candidate on the night of the party’s Primaries without prior warning to the other candidates and a few of them protested, Buhari got up and made a speech that those people must be disciplined. He subsequently went to d BBC’s “hard talk” and he frightened every Nigerian soul and the interviewer with his archaic and fundamentalist intolerant views. His understanding and articulation is very much in doubt. Yet he became President of the Fulani emirate via the CIA.

The evil genius, IBB and his crew similarly ran rings around Buhari. On the 10th anniversary of Abacha’s demise, Buhari said that Abacha stole nothing from Nigeria! Despite millions of Dollars recovered from banks around the world and the Abacha family signing a formal agreement to return over $1 billion dollars, Buhari still said that Abacha’s stealing remains an unproved allegation!!!! Why? Because Abacha set Buhari up like an emperor and let him use oil money from the Niger Delta to develop the North without supervision or questions.

    • sammyctu ode

Burning spears a lot of us thought u passed away cos of poverty since ur benefactor – shameless Jonathan is no more in power who was giving u free money since u are an ND/SE militants or we thought that u are so poor now to buy mobile data. U are one of d enemies of progress in Nigeria. You act and think like your fellow co deranged criminal called trump.

      • haba mallam

This man is no where near Trump, Trump loves his country and its people, this man is a dog, worthless piece of garbage waiting to be collected.

    • Abanj

I continue to pray that Buhari will succeed. All these judges that free thieves and murderers!!!! ALl at the expense of the suffering people of Nigeria. We couldn’t jail Ibori in our country but left it to another country to do for us. ALl teh thieves that have been charged to court are walking free!!!! We will remember Buhari for WAI when he came before , we will also remember him after this and after he has gone as the president most determined to save this country!! I am not Hausa or APC – I just want Nigeria to be saved!!!

  • haba mallam

Bravo Mr president may Allah Continue to guide you and give you long life and good health so you can clean our country and make us proud. NO BODY IS ABOVE THE LAW, our justice system is so corrupt that one can get away with almost any crime if he or she has money so Mr president ignore the evils ones and nay Sayers and carry on. This dumb governor from Rivers should be impeached and tried for treason.

  • Chi

Nigeria needs a surgical sweep, much like Jerry Rawlings did in Ghana. Much like the French peasants did during the French revolution. The Nigeria masses torn along ethnic, political and religious lines cannot muster that solidarity to act towards their common interests.
To hell with rule of law, this is the doctrine these thieves adopt to safeguard themselves. Is there a Rule of law for the common man? Arrested arbitrarily detained endlessly, hounded off the roads by siren blaring security personnel on the behest of same elevated thieves and shoot on the road sides for a mere N100 gratification to Police.
    Arrest them all. Sai Buhari

  • Raphelibe

None of the leaders(Presidents, Governors, Legislators etc) from the past 40 years to date can claim to be clean. Even those of them pretending presently to be Mr. Clean should all be investigated. Nigeria has produced so much oil and made so much money but it ended up in the hands of these pretentious righteous people from the past too the present. If Nigerians really need the truth, an independent international audit firm should be appointed to probe all of them viz a viz the money that went through their hands as president, governors, legislators etc in the past 40 years. It will be discovered that none of them are saints. The good people of Nigeria are the ones fooled from one government to the other. Any one that comes up, do so on the premise of being the awaited messiahs. Give them time you will discover that they are biased, full of nepotism and tribalism. The youths of Nigeria must stand up realizing that these old men who have held reign over their country will only lead them into more bondages. They are all the same recycled corrupt human beings. When they take over power they present a front of being righteous and moving the country forward but nothing happens. I am not a prophet they should watch the outcome of those pretentious messiahs they have now. Nothing will happen, they will hear the same old song of adjusting their belts, we are doing something! Nigeria needs a surgical cleaning but not from any man or woman who has ever ruled in the past 40years. The youths must get United from North to South, East and West and determine their destinies and take it from these expired human beings who sustain their kingdoms by brute force. How many youths are in the government of your country. Only expired old men who should be in their houses thinking of the bad parts they played to keep your nation in penury now.
