Nigerians will see true change by 2018 – Vice President Osinbajo

Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President, Nigeria.

Although the Federal Government is committed to ensuring the current hardship faced by Nigerians is alleviated, the full impact of a positive change of government may not materialise until 2018, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo hinted on Sunday.

Mr. Osinbajo, during an interview with journalists after a church programme in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital,  said the Muhammadu Buhari administration is “focused and determined to ensure this country is put on the right track.”

He said the government was aware a lot of Nigerians had become sceptical of the ‘Change’ mantra of the administration.

“There are lots of people who will say where is the change they promised,” he said. “People will condemn and shout, but we are very focused, calm and extremely confident that God is on our side and this country will not be the same.”

He, however, indicated that the full impact of the change may take a couple of years, until 2018.

“In another couple of years, we will see the difference,” he said.

“All of us have a part to play in the change. Nigerians must be patriotic in our dealings and daily activities. We should be committed to the nation,” said the vice president whose administration has come under heavy criticism from Nigerians for the handling of the economy.

PIPELINE VANDALISM

Mr. Osinbajo also said pipeline vandalism in the Niger Delta is the major cause of Nigeria’s current economic recession.

He said vandalisation has led to the loss of about 60 per cent of oil revenue, government’s major income source.

“One of the key reasons why we are in recession is the fact that we lost about 60 per cent of our revenue due to the vandalisation of the pipelines on the Niger/Delta and we lost almost 40 per cent of the gas,” he said.

The Vice-President, however, expressed optimism that Nigeria would soon overcome the challenge of vandalism

“Once we are able to resolve that, we would at least be able to earn more revenue,” he said.

Mr. Osinbajo’s optimism might be related to the fact that the Federal Government recently commenced negotiations with militant groups in the Niger Delta.

The Niger Delta Avengers, the main group responsible for most of the vandalism, recently announced a unilateral ceasefire, agreeing to conditional talks with the government.

On Sunday, Mr. Osinbajo also said the best way for the government to fully revive the economy was to diversify into agriculture and solid minerals.

He said work has begun in those two sectors and results would be gradually achieved.

The vice president said government was concerned about the number of unemployed youth.

He said the government would soon commence the implementation of the 500,000 job opportunities for volunteer corps as well as implement the planned micro credit facilities to a minimum of one million market women and artisans.

IT’S CORRUPTION

Mr. Osinbajo alluded to corruption as another major reason the country was facing its current economic challenges.

“These are challenging times. It is very obvious and we know the reasons,” he said.

“It is high level of corruption and we have dealt with that. We are controlling government expenditure. Once you can control corruption, we are out of it.”

Mr. Osinbajo, a Redeemed Church Pastor before his election, said he believes Nigeria “is one that God has a hand in its affairs.”

“In fact, the reason why President Buhari is in office is because God has a plan and hand in this nation; that this nation will be governed properly; that stealing of resources will stop; that we focused on issue of development.”

Prefessor Osinbajo is an inglorious B***ard.
By late 2017, they would have commenced 2019 electioneering campaign unofficially, by which time Nigeria would have siezed from existing at the rate foolani muslims are going – do not forget that the miscreants are migrants from neighbouring poor African nations who took advantage of the complacency of the Hausas to infiltrate Nigeria Military and Civil Service.
Thanks to FFK on the lecture delivered in Jos at the forum he made presentation.
I have had a great day knowing that there are Yorubas living; who think we should separate from the semi-animals of the desert who have held us backward.
    Femi God bless your soul!
I sincerely beg the Yorubas muslims to think twice about the arrangement called Nigeria and quickly too.
I visited a village in Delta State for a ceremony and saw a brand new fort on the highway – mobile Police check point which was set up on Buharis instruction to have his Malians, Nigeriens, Chadians and Senegalese scrap buyers, herdsmen, shoe shiners etc set up a mosque which the local people resisted.
The Mosque – a stranglehold of the foolanis would serve as armoury for their herdsmen and jihadist too.
At Okada in Edo State, a major fort is also being set up too, signally final onslaught and execution of Ahmadu Bello and Tafawa Balewa dream.
The time is ripe for separation without delay or the Rwandan experience!

Mr Vice president do not know how Nigeria’s oil is stolen so they cannot fix or control same. The vandalization of pipeline is infinitesimal. Niger Delta boys started this when they discovered the massive stealing of Nigerian crude from the left , right and centre and Government turned face the other way. the worst is yet to happen to Nigeria when we deceive ourselves that we have about 36billion barrels of crude reserve, and at peak production, we will go for many years, but how are we sure that Nigeria is not pumping above 5million per day that will half the life span of our oil life? it is a shame that this nation do not have a coast guard, and we keep shouting pirates and oil thieves on our territorial water. Mr. President on assumption stopped over 100 vessels loading crude, later they were allowed, so what was the explanation? are they not still lifting, leave matter for St Matthias.

      • emmanuel

Hmmmm, if you know those in power today, you would want all of them tried for fraud, deceit and looting. They are more deceitful than denying and revoking all the promises they made to Nigerians.
They are actually a band of Ali Baba and the forty thieves.
Part of their scheme – Lagos arm, they load stolen Crude from the Niger Delta and process it as drilled from Lagos Offshore and collect derivation from it.
The APC is the biggest fraud in human history. The Crude deposit offshore Lagos cannot be anything near what a weak flow station produces. So the criminality of stealing crude from the Deltas will make up for Lagos declared production

Buhari is the best thing to happened to Nigeria at this critical time after the previous administrations ruined the country. We know that the rebuilding process is the reason for this recession. No country will develope if she can not feed itself. Agricultural products generates billions of dollars for ISREAL every year. We have vast lands for cultivation yet we run to Thailand to import rice. If we can produced enough PMS to service our domestic needs and enough food to feed the nation, look at other sectors eg solid mineral, Nigeria will work again.

    • Aloy Kris

We’ve seen the refineries fixed since Buhari came in to allow for refining of PMS locally to cater for the teaming population. We’ve also seen our farms transformed to crop fields so that in mo distant time there’ll be self-sufficiency! Keep dreaming o!!!

    • Darlington

But Buhari promised to fixed all these issues which made Nigerians to vote for him. Why pass the buck now?

    • okenwa

When was nigeria ruined that require rebuilding if not in all buhari administrations.

  • O.k Ebechime

@amidu_haruna:disqus : What I understand from this Vice President Oshinbajo
is that he is not arguing. He is not arguing that he and President Buhari have
already failed too much. He is only saying that people should not beat them or
maybe stone them out of office before 2019, when both of them will run away by
themselves. That is what I understand Vice President Oshinbajo to be saying. I
may be wrong O. I no know book. It is for the INTERPRETERS like Professor Wole
Soyinka – who supported this bad thing called President Buhari – to come out and
explain himself and beg all Nigerians with real tears coming out of his eyes
    for his wrong judgment.

  • Myson

President Buhari each time you see him seams tired, not in command of his administration, Looks like someone who do not like his job, projects conflict of moral standard. How can a man and administration Elected to fight corruption allowed the backdoor recruitments in CBN, FIRS, Prisons and so on, which favors most of his appointees to stand up to this day? The people who padded budget, in the budget office were just transferred to other ministries as punishment. The ones in the National assembly are still there with no slap of the law. His appointees with verifiable corrupt past were not even queried.
His Director of SSS Mr Daura and some of them in the presidency have been aiding Saraki and others to Launder money and bribe the judges. Saraki case at Code of Conduct tribunal has taken forever to try. A case of asset declaration, which should not take one week to try, has taken forever. How many people draw salaries from government at code of conduct tribunal? It takes them more than one year to try ONE simple case. They are not handling any other case. The tribunal is better closed and the money for their salaries and maintenance channeled to better productive sector.
Vice President Osibanjo should know if Buhari continues as he is doing, it will take them forever to come out of this recession because the country does not have the mechanism to stop it as it is now. Reform the law enforcement agencies Nigeria have and enforce the laws of the country. There is no moral society. Society use laws and order, enforcement to control morality. Empty slogan “Change start with me” cannot do it alone.

    • O.O Esquire

Re: Bukola Saraki’s criminal trial for assets’ concealment

THE TRIBUNAL OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT TRIBUNAL MAY BE RISKING DETENTION
THE WAY HE’S BEEN GOING. HE’S EITHER DULL OR JUST INCOMPETENT OR BOTH.
THERE IS NOTHING IN A MOTION TO REQUEST A JUDGE TO DISQUALIFY HIMSELF
ON A CASE THAT NEEDS FOUR MONTHS TO DECIDE. A SENSIBLE JUDGE COULD
MAKE A SOUND RULING ON THAT SORT OF APPLICATION IN JUST ONE DAY.
WHILST THE TRIBUNAL TAKES FOUR MONTHS, BUKOLA SARAKI IS FREE.

      • Darlington

        • O.O Esquire

@disqus_Ogpo3s4qzW:disqus: Which forever? You don’t understand anything. Take it from me. Bukola Saraki
will be convicted for assets concealment and banned 10 years from public office beginning
December 2016, latest. Nobody in government today projects any further delay than December.
Bukola Saraki’s presence in that Senate makes nonsense of all possible meaning of CHANGE.
The law follows the facts. Once Bukola Saraki concealed assets in fact, he is liable for it in law.

          • Shubby

            @disqus_Ogpo3s4qzW:disqus

            Clarity of thought
means excluding theft gains from all supposed results of Bukola Saraki’s
life endeavors, since theft is not an achievement. If you exclude rewards of
thefts, Bukola Saraki’s life becomes instantly blank, as zero. There’s nothing
            left in his empty life.

Bukola Saraki was himself wangled into office as unlikely Kwara state
Governor. But despite all the crutches lent by both Obasanjo and Bukola
Saraki’s father, there’s nothing sensible Bukola Saraki can be seen to have
achieved even in that implausible office; besides depositing cash 50 times
a day into his GTB personal bank account.

          • ???

WHERE DID BUKOLA SARAKI EARN 65 MILLION DOLLARS HE DEPOSITED IN PANAMA,

WHILST WORKING FULL TIME AS PUBLIC SERVANT ON MONTHLY SALARY IN NIGERIA?

BUKOLA SARAKI CANNOT ANSWER THAT SIMPLE QUESTION TILL TODAY AFTER HE

Buhari’s unfriendly policy has shut down several businesses and created job loses among Nigerians. While Nigerians are calling for the reversal of his ill policy. The president has remain adamant and stubborn.

List of Sectors That Have Shut Down Business Due to Buhari’s Ill Policy

Below are the list of sectors that have shut down business within one year due to Buhari’s unfriendly policy.

    1. Aviation sector. Some airline have relocated to other countries to continue their businesses. While those who are still in the country have retrench workers to cut down on cost.

    2. Maritime sector.Last week 20 firms in the maritime sector shut down business and 3000 workers were retrenched.

    3. Banking sector. To remain in business, banks are sacking their workers.

    4. Manufacturing sector. The manufacturing sector need foreign currency to buy raw materials abroad to produce their finish goods due to the non availability of raw materials locally.Since buhari has restricted dollars to only his friends and family, manufacturers are finding it hard to carryon with their businesses. They have also resort to retrenchment of workers.

    5. Agricultural sector. The minister of agriculture, Audu Ogbe is the most inept political appointee ever under Buhari. Just as Buhari is calling for the Diversification of the nation’s economy from crude oil to agriculture and other mineral resources.

The minister has removed subsidy on fertilisers. When farmers are planting their crops, Fulani herdsmen will move their cattle to eat farmer’s crops. When they complain, the cattle rearers who are armed to the teeth will be killing them.

The president and his minister have not called for the herdsmen prosecution. But rather blamed the perpetrators as Libyans.

The minister has also put measures place to import grasses for Fulani herdsmen cattle at a dollar subsidy.

In conclusion. With all these businesses closing down, the government is also losing taxes and unemployment is on the increase.

        • paul irumundomon

No, Buhari sponsors came from Iran and saudi

          • okenwa

Iran can never sponsor sunni muslim, accepted parts of his campaign money came from saudi.

    • youandme

You are far from the truth my brother. Posterity shall judge.

  • Lanre

Prof. Osibajo. Thou shalt not call the name of The Lord in vain. Just to remind you. Otherwise, we will all be here in 2018 when you start campaigning to be reelected. Then you will promise us to wait till 2023 to see real change.

    • youandme

We are all victims of poor leadership and that makes it hard for any one to believe people in power. 2018 will come and you shall see the milestones covered and then be convinced. Remember, you vited for ‘change’ and not ‘magic’. If by 2018, we have steady power supply and better infrastructure, I hope you will be able to retract your comments and commend this govt for its achievement in 3 years compared to 16 years of pdp.

      • emmanuel

By the way, Roads, electricity etc are the infrastructure you talk about? Hmmmmm, people who do 419 end up in jail.
The APC is a superior 419 machine and the CEO, COO and CFO are yet to be tried for obtaning votes by false pretence?

The level of insincerity of President Buhari and VP Osinbajo is unreal. The man that couldn’t find his own voice. When a lady pastor was beheaded in his Abuja back yard by Islamic Jihardist Terriorst. We’re to thank President Buhari for the killing by Fulani’s terrorist herdsmen that are killing innocent farmers back by the military and police.
Please pray for forgiveness of sin.

  • Sule

In the long run, Nigerians will be all dead. So, in the short run, remedy the situation to avoid catastrophic result.

    • Osakue

Dead of what? Why can’t you think positive. And wish this govt well. If this govt succeed it will benefit us all.

      • youandme

Judging by your name, I can tell you are from the SE. I say to you again, you are a patriot and I appreciate you.

This is not a curse it is the general trend. Someone close should have died last week from the scouge, unlike Ben Ezeamalu who paid for his efforts to give the fraudulent APC false image with the life of his Sisiter through poor health care managed by his masters.
God see may belle and helped the guy survive.

  • Osakue

    Truth be told ;
For the first time light power is constant.

For the first time in over 35 yrs cattles arrived Lagos by train from the North.

Personally I am happy with this govt.

    • moses

Which government provided the trains you are talking of? Was it not the last gvnt they criticizing?
Happy for what reason, its like you are benefiting from this gvn

      • Osakue

Yes o I am benefiting bcos I saved a lot for not using my generator for over a week now.

        • emmanuel

Yes, we also know that you pay N500.00 flat as PHCN/ whatever the DISCO is called in your area monthly bill, so you could actually have saved so much. Since your standard of living is abissmally low up North.
My cost of Energy in a month is not near any significant part of my expenditure to result in me saving so much. You have actually let us into your status – a near wretch.
Why should i rally bother myself answering a fulfude man from Niger who managed to write WAEC in Nigeria who now claimed to be part of my country.
Nigeria must be fragmented, so that rats like you do not get on my way.

Point of correction. Obasanjo regime concieve the idea and started the design stages. Last govt built on that and did its own part while this govt completed it.

        • emmanuel

Obasanjo did a document which he used to steal over $5 billion and did nothing about the rail lines. Do not bring Obasanjo into this please.

    • okenwa

They way things are going, you and osinbajo will not see 2018.

    • emmanuel

For the first time, light power is constant? Your brain is weak and lack power to synchronise what your eye see. In Nigeria history, light become relatively good during the rains when the Dams are full. That was why you shouted uhuru in 2015 rains when Bhuhari took over, that his spirit and body language brought light, but three months after Nigeria electricity hit the lowest in history until July 2016 again.
That you are counting as achievement?
Cattle, arrive Lagos by train? what about humans and petroleum products?
By the way, the last adminostration restored the rails which was destroyed before they came in.

You can eat your nama, as our people are going massively into ranching already. We shall process our beef from destinations and give jobs to people in the value chains, while our farms remain unhindered by your herdsmen – is that not progress?

      • youandme

Can you not make constructive arguement without insulting characters? We should not let our frustration change who we are biko.

        • emmanuel

which is worse, offending the sensibilities of a people who are going through acute pains (including me) or insulting those who offends your sensibility and their hirelings; including you?
Please note that Jonathan and his team took all the insalts before elections and after they left office, how then do you re-draw basics of insult when inglorious men ruin Nigeria?

    • paul irumundomon

Which part of Nigeria do you reside, I need to relocate to your side, I pay more today for light and I see less light. Are you a Nigeria?

    • youandme

Thank you brother. This are the improvements that investors want. Once they see some level of stability in infrastructure and security, they will surely bring their resources into the country. God continue to bless Nigeria and direct our leaders.

      • emmanuel

No worry, by mid-October, electricity would have dropped to less than 1,000 megawatts when the Dams begin to dry up and it would be time to blame saboteurs.
We already understand that this government and their hirelings in the media operate at per-second billings, so their reasonings including yours are short-circuited and have very short span. You forget so quickly statements you make in a week and come out with other contradicting lies.

        • tkay

Prophet of doom. The dooms you are expecting shall be your portion and it shall all catch up with you. Because, as a man thinketh, so he he is. It shall surely happen unto you alone and your family, what you expect and desire for Nigeria. Bastard, vagabond, looser

  • Henry Ohakwe

Governed properly! Is that happening now? You got it wrong here again. Agriculture and solid minerals will not amount to a diversified economy sir. No way. Already almost 70% of our rural community are all engaged in agriculture. So should we put 90% of our population on farms? You people should wake up. RAW anything cannot diversify and put the economy on a sound footing. Whether it is crude, agric, or mining, nothing of sort sir. You are not on track. First recession was caused by your antiquated and archaic economic policies that resulted in the out flight of over $80B by investors out of the economy in just 1 year. Up till now, you do not have a coherent policy that can instill confidence in any body and how will they come back to invest into this your agriculture and mining? Or are you expecting aids to drive it? Certainly not. Are you going to do quantitative easing? Doubtful, because it will be a failure given that you dont even have the requisit expertise to manage that if you do. You need hands sir, even if you get those right people, will president Buhari sainthood and body language allow for the implementation of sound economic policies that will turn things around? Well you know the answer. I advise you sir, stop eroding your integrity by throwing dates around. The only thing certain with your government is uncertainty. Leave God alone here and face the real task sir, we all know that when men are ready God will send help. But when men play God, He will leave them to there faith. God is not a Nigerian, we should better get that firmly into our brains. He is not a respecter of any persons nor nations. Only those who fear Him and reference Him will command his attention not those playing religion.

    • Ifeanyi

“stop eroding your integrity by throwing dates around” …WORD!

    • youandme

What economic policies are you alluding to? Can you mention one or two? I may not be an economist, however, I know no nation can succeed when faced with the level of corruption Nigeria is know for. Tell me one Nation where corruption thrives that did not go on recession. Are you also saying the impact of bombings in th SS doesn’t contribute to the problem Nigeria is facing today? I ask you, if you were an investor in a country where there is consistent bombings, kidnappings and security lapses where protection of your assets, properties and even people are can easily be a victim, will you not pull out your fund from that country? I ask you again, will you not pack your bags and money to a safer country? How would investors come in when UN still says Nigeria is likely breakup? Won’t you as a potential investor think further before you bring your money into Nigeria.

Yes, 100% of Nigerians should go back to agriculture until we can feed ourselves and be able to export to neighbouring countries. I mean, why should Nigeria be importing foods to feed her people when our land is bless and rich to grow these foods. Is that acceptable to you?

Please just stop throwing blames at this govt. They are doing all what can be done to put confidence in the investors. They are fixing the roads and improving transport systems. They are also fixing power which is the lifewire of industrialization. Improving security issues caused by previuos govts. They have been able to overpower the Boko Haram in the north and by God’s grace they will overpower Jonathan people in the SS as well. As Pastor Yemi Osinbajo said, God led Buhari to save Nigeria and he will succeed in Jesus name. All what we need to do is pray and support him.

    • NoPeaceInOurTime

There are few like you that get it. Subsistence agricultural can only do so much and would add very little to national income. The 2 things you said are crucial. Inflow of investments, increase in productive activities coupled to improved environment of work, that is, electricity, enough skilled hands, roads , good financial system and trustworthy laws not everyday changing policies. These and more will bring change nothing more.

    • Jujubeans

Well said bro! During the major global warming economic downturn of 2008, oil prices were low circa $30 dollars per barrel (lower than today’s $50 dollars per barrel) despite this the Nigerian economy was not in recession. It grew. So what on earth is this govt. on about? The poor Monetary policies by that corrupt f00L in the CBN, Emefiele, is a big cause of the FDI flight.

      • emmanuel

Emefiele is both CBN Governor and Minister of Finance, so he has to do his best whilst working against a barrier called Buhari.
CBN Governors role in a Country is about the easiet institutional jobs. Unfortunately, he is Head of economic team (Osinbajos job) and Minister of Finance.
Fools do not run Commercial Banks in Nigeria – Emefiele did for 8 years and Zenith did not shake even in the 2008 global crises.
Blame your Alhaji Bingo and APC rascals who set aside the laudable economic rediscovery programmes of the last administration just to ridicule them. So the only achievement was to implement TSA at once instead of the staggered implementation of the last administration.
Una neva see any thing, you would cry blood when the banks begin to collapse under the depression ahead and you would realised the folly of queueing behind blind people to lead the wise!

        • Jujubeans

Mr Emefiele is widely ridiculed amongst his peers. Google articles on him from international sources such as The Economist, Bloomberg, The Financial Times etc and you will see what I mean. Also, back in August, international investors REFUSED to meet him in New York. That’s how little respect they have for him. Re being the head of a commercial bank in Nigeria… Based on what we’ve seen in this past year, the only skills Nigerian banks have developed and mastered in a corruption festered economy like ours, is round tripping forex, overcharging consumers and hiding government funds. They do not do what most commercial banks in the world do which is lending to small and medium size businesses and people for mortgages, study loans etc. If the round tripping loophole is closed by the CBN, many banks would collapse, which is why he refuses to allow the Naira float freely. And that is the number one reason investors will not invest their money in Nigeria.

          • emmanuel

The judgements passed on Emefiele is the vote of no confidence they long passed on Buhari. That is the diplomatic way of calling Nigeria President the failure they have splashed on his face since last November when the Economist, Washington post and Al-Jazzera called hm a failure!
What Bank’s do in Nigeria is not different what is done globally. Bankers (Bank owners especially) are all crooks and cheats.

      • True Nigerian

Which one is ‘global warming economic downturn of 2008’ again. These zebrudayas of the economy with laughable analysis will not kill me with laughter. Please correct yourself bro. The global housing meltdown of 2008 has nothing to do with global warming.

    • Damianesque

Whatever gave you the impression that diversifying agriculture entailed the coopting of an additional 20℅ to the already 70℅ (according to your statistics SMH). Look here, Mr quack analyst, Nigeria does not require a quarter of your fabled 70% to catalyse agriculture. A quantum leap in that sector is not about creating a critical mass of subsistence farmers. It is about overhauling the technical, mechanical and R&D components in farming, coupled with revised legislation on land acquisition and ownership laws. Ten industrialised large scale farmers per state will achieve what you theoretical 70% could not achieve.
You carry on to bash the government about quantitative easing and about how hamstrung the government is to even supervise simple cash injection into the economy. May I ask what your rantings aim to achieve?! Is there an exit strategy lurking somewhere in your convoluted Buhari-bashing to at least persuade some of us to take you seriously or at you going to deny altogether that sabotage from the militants and corruption had no collateral toll on the economy? Bro go back to the drawing board. You’ve said absolutely nothing here

      • emmanuel

Diversification enunciated by this administration in Agriculture is every Nigerian must do farming (work four days and farm Friday and Saturday, abi you nor know) without requisite plan for the value chain – fol**ness and wasted effort.
Please publish the efforts in Research and Development you talked about? Some years ago, lots of Nigerians went into Poultry business and flooded everywhere with Poultry products. That led to big losses by most who got loans to finance such ventures and most fell into deep financial crises.
That same trend is coming up soon, as lots of produce would become wasted. The last administration began work on designated Airports to ship-out Agri-Products, but your blank brains jettisoned that because of their empty brains.
They are now busy giving subsistent farmers loan to go plant, without plans for converting most of the produce to processed products. Yet you said the FG has Mechanised farming as their area of attention, which is a big lie.
They claim more Nigerians are now employed in farming as a way of providing jobs. You cannot deceive all for too long!

      • Bumble Bee

        You mind these rogue commentators!

You guys are so arrogant, daft ,bankrupt in mind and reasoning capacities ,that you believed that you are all knowing ,when indeed you are destitute of common sense.your hope is built on nothing else but propaganda, lies, false promises ,blame games and peddling of falsehoods.
Unfortunately, nations are not built on those mundane and vile foundations, no solid house ,business or nation can be built and solidly established via fake, hollow, false and empty promises.only scammers ,hypocrites, fraudulent people build their utopian cities and nations on such.
Buhari implemented 2015 budgets on absolute nothing but lies, propaganda, blackmail and looting. No investment in any sector at all,all the ongoing projects in critical sectors of infrastructure and economy was abandoned while buhari went on a travelling spree, and character assassination of his country, after one year ,the result is bankruptcy of Nigerian nation in all sectors. 2016 budget was long incoming ,because buhari is myopic, unintelligent, clueless and sadistic. It was one useless propaganda, war, motion without movement and falsehood peddling ,after another. 2016 is now about 4 months to go and osibanjo the fake and backsliding pastor have once again raised the stake to another 2 years .the question is apart from normal Yoruba making mouth, where is the solid foundation that can yield osibanjos fake promises in 2018. OK they are awaiting dangotes refinery to start work so they shall shamelessly claim the credit as they did with Jonathan’s train,TSA and now youwin.
Nigerians should patiently wait for this tribulations to pass in 2019, that’s the only peaceable option that we have as a nation. Nigeria have fallen into the leadership oversight of the Judas race, the hollow minded free education products, the calamitous almajiri imbeciles and the sand in the brain Cretans of Nigeria. Calamity have befallen our dear land and people, nigeria have entered into great tribulations .The only way of escape is by prayer and perseverance till 2019, when we as a nation shall say bye bye to thick darkness, and axis of evil party called APC and its evil works.may God help Nigeria.

        • emmanuel

No amount of prayers would help us, because most of those who pretend to be prayer warriors are the victims of their selfish ends. A woman who called herself a woman of God did tell me they the prayer group of RCCG assembled for forty days of prayers to send Jonathan away and install Buhari, so which other prayer is God waiting to hear to send Buhari away and intsall an El-Rufai or Tambuwal?
It is time for action, as some prosperous nations do not even bother themselves with prayers.
Prayers are needed for a faith people, but action is needed to prosper under the hands of God.
More mosque are now created everywhere to institute evil, while the prayers are ongoing and when those who are to prayer get corrupt out of hardship, who then would pray?
Restructre or divide is the way forward.
I cannot continue to be subverted by North African foolanis and subjugated in a country i have more state in and want to remain with the status quo.

        • Damianesque

You can bark and growl and sound like a constipated mongrel all you want! The incontrovertible fact still remains that this country was inconsolably ravaged and plundered; it’s institutions utterly broken and compromised. All of these took place while APC wasn’t in power. And upon assuming power, fourth columnists orchestrated a so called ‘operation red economy’. If your aim is to heap the sins of 16 years of scorched earth policies on the nation’s treasury by PDP on an APC government that just turned 1 year then you, sir, are the official posterboy for lunacy. Just yesterday, your former first lady, Patience Jonathan was mirred in corruption claims about accounts she illegally opened through third parties and you’re here railing like a rabid mad dog against Buhari. Thunder fire you there. Useless criminals!

          • emmanuel

Let us know where the wife of your president pays proceeds of her husbands frequent trips into (collected at CBN rate and changed at mallams rate into)?
Abi you think say the Obama’s nor dey collect estacodes?
Estimates of what the Buharis have collected so far is said to be over N7 billion, tell us if those monies are seated in their known account or dug in the ground.

          • Damianesque

Do I look like a beer parlour gossip. Listen when an account connecting the Buharis goes tabloid, you can come back for some more fat-chewing. For now, go hang your head in shame. The illiterate ‘deris god oo’ singing former first lady is a thief.

      • joe

Don’t worry about these kind of people. No matter how good a government can be, with these kind of populace – (mindless, half-baked, wanna-be intellectuals, who readily make themselves available to criminal elites or are themselves involved in one crime or another), there is no hope for this country.

        • emmanuel

‘No matter how good a government can be’? ha, your cylinders are leaking o; ogbeni.

      • Man_Enough

Before oil, agriculture sustained Nigeria. What makes you think it cannot happen again? We don’t need to draft every Nigerian to the farm. Farmers just have to imbibe technology.

  • Babrutus

There a just too many comments on this matter. Which one should Buhari listen to now? Remember, he only has one head.

    • iskander

No, he has no head. And, I think you too have no head to ask this kind of question.

      • Babrutus

Did you just make fun of me?

      • Babrutus

Iskander my child, have you ever seen a chicken without a head, talk more of a man?

  • Peter_Edo

I have faith in God, I have faith in this government and i am sure that by 2018-2019 the differences will be clear for all to see.

When another campaign must have begin? This government is clueless.

      • joe

And you? You have a load of clues? “must have begin”?? 🙂

        • emmanuel

Do not redirect the discussion please. correct him and move on. Unfortunately, you may not be able to correct him without using online dictionary, yet you have latched onto that as the issue on ground

      • Henry_Itopa

If another campaign would have “begin” as you stated wouldn;t they want to run on what they have accomplished by then? The hate you carry is not allowing you to think well or wish well for your country.

Change must begin with me economic policy?

    TALK IS CHEAP

  • Salisu Dan-Gombe

    LET ME ADD:

We must control the economy …. and this can only be
accomplished on a solid foundation that rests on the three things I
listed above which Buhari is already on top of.

    When we finish
laying the foundation based on the three things I listed above …. then
we turn to the economy and give it some attention. Until then we will
not do much about the economy …. because we cannot afford to let
infidels become strong by controlling the economy … and more
importantly the economy must work on Islamic principles.

    • Wisdom Alpha

you are in darkness, friend! Islam has brought set backs to people than any other things in the world and you are here talking about islamic what? Aren’t a shame to be saying this have you considered the innocent lives that are lost everyday around the world all in the name of this so called islam. Friend think properly!! Bauhari is a historical failure and for sure he will soon….

      • Salisu Dan-Gombe

MUMU SOUTHERNERS ARE YET TO WAKE UP TO BUHARI’S AGENDA …. THEY ARE STILL FOOLISHLY FOCUSED ON THE ECONOMY

Buhari is only focused on three things and these three vital things are running on 100%Plus

        1. Northern Muslim Hausa-Fulani Northernisation and Colonization of Nigeria

        2. Islamization of Nigeria …. Insha Allah

        3. Sharianisation of Nigeria including the Judiciary.

I don’t know what Osibade is talking about …. change is already here …. in fact, all the strategic and important national positions are completely in the hands of the Northern Muslim Hausa-Fulani even before 2018.

        • Wisdom Alpha

you mean islam, right…lets’ watch and see!

  • Ayinde

    Mr Vice President,
Please for your information, by 2018 attention would be focused on election issues except you wish to tell us you intend to give us another DECEPTION(lie upon lies aka APC) ahead of the election.

The VP is a total disappointment is it when Nigerians finish committing suicide that the economy will come to life?you are planning to pump money into the economy before 2019 election so that you have votes. Nigerian are too wise for that

MUMU SOUTHERNERS ARE YET TO WAKE UP TO BUHARI’S AGENDA ….. THEY ARE STILL FOOLISHLY FOCUSED ON THE ECONOMY:

Buhari is only about three things and he is doing them well 100%Plus:

    1. Northern Muslim Hausa-Fulani Northernisation and Colonisation of Nigeria.

    2. Islamisation of Nigeria … Inshah Allah!

    3. Sharianisation of Nigeria

These stuupid infidels that are insulting Buhari … should tell me if Buhari is not on 100%Plus on all that I listed above.

In fact, we are seeing true change already …. all important strategic National Positions are in the hands of the Northern Muslim Hausa-Fulani. What is Vice President Osibande talking rubbish about seeing change in 2018?

    • Henry_Itopa

Is it government position that drives your progress or that of your area? Take a look at Lagos and learn. Lagos saw development operating as an opposition stronghold by tapping into its internal resources.

Stop complaining and do your part.

  • thusspokez

He said the government was aware a lot of Nigerians had become sceptical of the ‘Change’ mantra of the administration.

What CHANGE are we still talking about?

Buhari has long accomplished his CHANGE, namely, to shift power from ‘multi-ethnic, multi-culture, multi-religion Nigeria’ to ‘single-ethnic, single-culture, single-religion Nigeria’, i.e., Hausa/Fulani/Islam hegemony.

Is this not still obvious to Nigerians? There is no other CHANGE in the pipeline!

    • Nib

Simple and short summary….more Blessings to you!

  • Rommel

How I wish all these PDP e-rats and their supervisors who are screaming lies and propaganda daily will be gone before the 2018 our hardworking VP is talking about,we need less of them in that country, the US with a population of 320 million has 2.1 million people in the penitentiary systems while Nigeria which is far more corrupt with a population of 160 million has just 48,000 prisoners, how can this be justified? we need as a matter of urgency to incarcerate at least 100,000 fresh people so that with a prison population of 148K,Nigeria can cool down.

    • emmanuel

very notable postulation. This is the brain of a forward looking person working for El-Rufai who want to be the next President. Laudable economic policiy.
A hardworking VP you foolanis made to drink tea, read Newspaper in the Villa and attend all naming ceremonies, freedom/graduation of artisans, marriage ceremonies, burials in the South West as his major task as head of the economic team of your prospering Country?
You have used all other monikers this morning, so na to f**l yourself now with Rommel your official moniker

      • Rommel

Are you sure this is not paranoia that you are suffering from? me? with another moniker? and which will that be if I may ask? like I have said,I am advocating for people like you to be removed from circulation so that Nigeria can make progress, just extra 100K and that country will cool down

        • emmanuel

good economic policy from a brain dead jihadist. Your low life is worth celebrating by your people like you also celebrate your Alhaji Buhari for ineptitude.
Foolanis hardly think beyond their threshold of leaving in the farms with animals, so have nothing to offer other than reducing the population by imprisonment and herdsmen’s killings. Happy to tell you that community Policing has begun in earnest down South to checkmate them.
But your suggested economic policy is also a failed solution, because the cost of building and maintaining more Prison facilities would cripple this failed government into the abyss.
          You sure lack brains!

          • Rommel

Construction works are paid jobs and building more penitentiary facilities will create more jobs since that is what you people are screaming for,it is good that vigilantes are starting but it is not entirely new and I hope they will not metamorphose into kidnappers, armed robbers and debt collectors as happened previously when Bakassi boys were rampaging everywhere

          • emmanuel

Okayy, syphone monies through building jails and more from feeding prisoners like you? I trust Foolanis, as dem don sell off most FG parastatals the chop chop avenues have reduce so na Prison be next. Good to know.
Meanwhile, Vigilantes do not even kill their enemies after destroying their farmlands, so we prefer their excesses. Anyone who use them while in office would never have more than 8 years, thereafter he faces the scourge too. Go ask your Kwankwasiya how good is it to use transient instruments of power to oppress and the backlash?

          • Rommel

The era of siphoning money is gone and forever I hope, are you not disturbed by what is unrevealing about your godmother Mama piss Fakabelema Jonathan, how they were opening accounts in the names of their house helps, chauffeurs, cooks etc in which they are sole signatories and paying in millions without those poor ones ever knowing that they are already millionaires in hard currencies, well I don’t know what you are ranting about but out of the last 18yrs of 4th republic, power has resided for 14 yrs in the south and the north did not die,I wonder why you wish to die now, does it not show that you are greedy? maybe your problem is greed

          • emmanuel

Where did Aisha Buhari pay the proceeds of her husbands frequent foreign trips which she convert at the Mallam kiosk where FX is changed into? Abi na only una know how to enjoy the perks of Presidential office? Or you think the proceeds of the frequent trips collected at CBN’s rate and changed on the street na small money?
What has changed? I beg make una go hide un self for wall.
What is not good for the goose is also not good for the gander. Same formula i suppose. Aisha would also have opened accounts in other people names to keep their own

You corrected Darlington 12 minutes ago, here you are, with a tonne of very poor English. Recall i warned you to think you stand, lest you fall. “Too many miscreants are low-lives are roaming freely on our streets”
That is exactly what has destroyed Nigeria under a very inept Leadership of Alhaji Buhari

How many years does it take cocoa to start producing? how many years does it take plam trees to start producing? can you plant corn or wheat and reap it same day? there are short, medium and long term investments, and by 2018,they will begin to converge and only then will it begin to have the expected impact turnaround, successful nations today had years of hardships unless you want us to shift the sacrifice to our children and grandchildren, what sort of people would we have been? people are suffering today in Nigeria because previous people refused to plan anything,in an agrarian society like ours, only the one who has planted can comfortably look towards harvest time, the one who has not planted but waiting for harvest is either a beggar or a thief

      • emmanuel

Na to plant Cocoa? what are the plans ahead. please publish any blueprint on the way forward by a team of Lawyers and cattle rearers?

Mumu x Mumu. Prof Osungbade, when will you fulfill the meal program that you personally promised Nigerian students. As a professor of law, you ought to know that, nobody can govern Nigerian again until we restructure the Country. Wake up,

  • Henry_Itopa

Is it hate or ignorance purely driving the comments on this topic? After decades of bastardization and rape of the Nigerian economy some people actually think 3 years is an unacceptable timeline to fix it??? A government actually for the first time trying to fix this country all they get is hateful and ignorant comments rather than support.

I have stated time and again that one of the biggest problems of Nigeria is a failed citizenry who will rather than do their part rather sit on the sidelines and indulge in conspiracy theories, beer parlor rumors and spreading hate and falsehood.

    • Commentsfile..!!!

      thank you my brother…
      God will increase your knowledge.

    • abigwary

Nice comments my brother. You said it all.

    • emmanuel

Is the recession a conspiracy theory or Beer Parlour rumour? Is it true that so many Nigerians are dying as a result of the failed economy? If you think otherwise, ask Ben Ezeamalu of Premium Times how his younger Sister who was nurse died carelessly a few weeks ago owing to poor health care management.
Recall, that the Aso Villa Clinci with Budget larger than all Federal Government Hospitals in Nigeria in 2016 did hot have drugs or facilities few weeks ago and had to turn their executive patients back?
I beg nor make me vex the more, because i go abuse you well well o!
What are the improved insfrastructure a lame duck talked about a few minutes ago?

      • Henry_Itopa

Throwing around insults like an insult dog is what you’re good at so carry on. Making sense is not so much your forte. The problems which you described are carry overs which this government is working on. I wonder where your insults and concern were for 16 years.

The recession was foretold by even Ngozi and others when she warned her president back then that if they don’t stop spending the way they were and start saving that Nigeria will be where it is today. They did not listen. This government has inherited that mess and trying to deal with it. They have not done the best job but they are trying and not purely stealing and getting drunk like previous governments.

        • emmanuel

I was on the neck of the PDP until Buhari showed up in the scene after the bribe for money presidential primaries in November 2008 when Atiku paid delegate $3,000.00 and Buhari/Tinubu upped theirs to $5,000.00 per delegate to win (i attended a function on August 13, with a friend who collected, so nor be story).
I would have supported the APC if they came up with a human candidate, unfortunately they came up with evil, which has ravaged Nigeria to-date.
I have beed woed severally by contemporaries in the PDP to join them, but i have never seen any justification for such. Unfortunately, the APC has done that too, which is impossible, so do not think that i love the PDP, but prefer them to the fake APC.
What are you talking about Ngozi asking that we save and Jonathan never saw any need for that? Did you begin your post by blackmailing me from insulting you so that i can keep quiet when you offend my sensibility? Your Fashola, Amaechi, Oshomole an Saraki took the FG to court to stop any form of saving and you celebrated them. You have turned around today to build a web of lies around those events. Are you so demonic?
Amaechi drew River state N19 billion reserve saved for their future to sponsor Buhari (pure evil) and Liar Mohammed fought Ibim Seminitari to a standstill for the media portion of that funds, so where lies your civility and grand-standing?
Please note that the common saying ‘a hungry man is an angry man’ also apply to me – justification for my anger!

          • Damianesque

Just take a rest. All the ranting in multiple places per minute won’t make you right. Just yesterday, Patience Jonathan for implicated in yet another shameful act of stealing. Just one more evidence of the sort of debilitating economic sabotage Buhari is up against. And if you imagine asking for 3 years to sort out the economy is asking too much then you are beyond discussing with

Let them continue wooing you. The rest of us will do our part to push this country forward even with hunger and let others like you continue to run their mouths waiting for some other person to come and hand them food and jobs so they can shut up.

          • emmanuel

i work hard for my self as i taunt you.
Truth cannot be silenced, evil and failings are very visible. What are you doing to move Nigeria forward? We knew about Vehicle Assembly and accessories manufacture programme of last administration, e-wallet fertiliser, Rice, Roads infrastructral upgrade, Rail revamp, energy focused restructure and renewal, fish farming, BVN, TIN, and online banking to track tax compliance etc.
Tell us which one dey ground wey una dey do? Import Grass fro Brzsil, build more mosque, empower people to pilgrimage at CBN exchange rate, work for four days and farm for one day peasant farming?
We are indeed on a very fast lane into destruction

    • Damianesque

      Well said, bro

    • Jujubeans

I was an avid APC supporter, I even donated my hard earned cash to PMB’s campaign. Buhari has done excellently on Boko Haram, moderately on fighting corruption but poorly on the economy. This isn’t the first time Nigeria has suffered from low oil prices and low reserves (low savings). When Obj came in in 1999. Oil prices were lower than today @ $30 avg. per barrel. And Abdulsalami had emptied the treasury with virtually zero reserves. Despite all this, the Nigerian economy GREW. No recession. Why? Because he had an expert team of world class economic managers who had a coherent economic strategy that co-ordinated fiscal and monetary policies. The reason PMB/ APC have lost my support is that they stubbornly refuse to listen to what world class experts are telling them re how to manage our economy. Emefiele is busy banning items here and there, sanctioning banks, then re-admitting them, whilst Adeosun is claiming fiscal stimulus but we know there is no money coming from anywhere. Their actions are un coordinated and disjointed. They left doesn’t know what the right is doing. It’s chaos.

      • emmanuel

Emefiele’s recent policies are master minded by APC fraudulent think-tank who get him to church out somersaults to trigger higher exchange rate to enable them have huge Naira value for low Oil sales to run their fake budget.
What is happening is political economics that is inflicting more pains on Nigerians, but helping APC try to shine with self inflicted darkness.
Exchange rates move up sharply on two days or thereabout; when they are about sharing Federal allocation, following some fake actions that are reversed or silenced once they achieve their aims.
Only the blind do not see

      • Henry_Itopa

I agree with you on the points made and there has been failure there. But this is a first term presidency and I am hoping that with good intentions they can recover from this. I have not lost hope yet.

  • yukkmouff

Mr Veepee, I have no doubt you mean well and I pray the good Lord continues to guide you. But, the dullard cattle herdsman you work for has a totally different agenda and as long as he remains in the villa, there’ll be no light at the end of the tunnel.

WHERE DID BUKOLA SARAKI EARN 65 MILLION DOLLARS HE DEPOSITED IN PANAMA,

BUKOLA SARAKI CANNOT ANSWER THAT SIMPLE QUESTION TILL TODAY AFTER HE

THE PANAMA MONEY-LAUNDERING LAWYERS HAVE DENIED IN A PRESS STATEMENT.

……And, when will all of this other money be recovered?

      • ₦38.23billion developed legs and got missing in Central Bank under Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

The ISSUE IS NOT JUST CORRUPTION ALONE ,THIS HUGH PAYMENT OF SALARIES AND OTHER HUGH CONSTITUENCY MONEY PAYED TO YOU PEOPLE IN THE HOUSE IS ANOTHER CRIMINAL CORRUPTION. The house of senate and reps are stealing our collective inheritance in the name of constituency fees and salaries, allowances, even their dogs ARE more paid than a nigerian civil servant.WHAT KIND OF GOVERNMENT IS THIS AND THEY SAY THEY ARE FIGHTING CORRUPTION. WHEN YOU’RE PAID ALL THE MONEY IN NIGERIA AND THE COMMON MAN THAT VOTED YOU INTO OFFICE IS HUNGRY ,WHAT CORRUPTION IS MORE THAN THAT? PMB, IF YOU ARE SERIOUSLY FIGHTING CORRUPTION TRULY YOU MUST START FROM YOU PEOPLE AT THE TOP, THIS IS ACTUALLY WHAT CURSED THE RECESSION BCOS NO INVESTMENT IN INFRASTRUTURES, NO JOB CREATIONS NOTHING , ALL BUDGET IS FOR PAYMENT OF ALLOWANCES OF THE BOTH HOUSES. BIG,BIG,BIG SHAME TO ALL OF YOU THAT HAVE LEFT THE COMMON MAN IN HUNGER IT WILL NEVER BE WELL WITH U PEOPLE AND YOUR FAMILIES.

Of course there’ll be change in 2018 because more than 75% of the population might have died from suffering and starvation.

Haba Prof…..Two years…..Many people would have died of hunger by that time…..
We need action immediately…..Remember you are only there for four years…..

  • NinjaK

    Mr VP,
Why did you not tell us b4 elections (one & half years ago) that we shall all bend like crayfish until 2018?
And as I know you to be a “Pastoral Economist” nowadays (as Head of Nigeria’s Economic Team) what is THE GUARANTEE that this 2018 promise would not be a very convenient posture for “THATS WHY WE NEED A 2ND TERM IN OFFICE…”?
I really dont trust Pastors anymore – especially Political Ones!

    • dpfrank

      Exercise patience with FG

      • NinjaK

        We need Goodluck too!

  • dpfrank

The truth is that 16years rot by PDP cannot be wipe away in few months, we must exercise patience, gold must pass through a process before it become real gold

    • Jujubeans

Obj’s first term administration that came in directly after the deepest and longest years of rot in our history i.e military rule from Buhari 1983 to Abdulsalami 1999 – did not go into recession in the first year, or at anytime. The economy GREW. He employed world class Nigerian experts to help him. Instead today, we have Tweedle dum (Emefiele) and Tweedle Dee (Adeosun) running things and the result is the disaster we see today. I supported PMB avidly, to the point where I spent my hard earned cash and donated to his campaign. That he cannot see how incompetent these two are makes me very sad as it demonstrates very poor judgment on his part.

      • emmanuel

Please reverse Emefiele’s name. A good Minister of Finance does not leave abdicate her responsibilities to CBN Governor.
Running the show at CBN is a simple administrative job where specialist abound to support the Governor. Kemi and Buhari are the problem of Nigeria today.
A Nigerian state commissioner can run CBN, but is nothing near MOF. If you are Yoruba, leave Kemi to carry her cross and leave Emefiale out of it, because there is no where in the World where CBN Governor run the economy, except in Alhaji BIingo’s inept government.
He is quick to rush home for Sallah when his Country is dead – is that patriotism?

        • Jujubeans

What does tribe have to do with this??? There are plenty of Igbos who can do the job. Infact the person whom most people expected to be appointed is Igbo. Emefiele is NOT world class. Take him out of Nigeria and he’s nothing! Unlike his predecessors Charles Soludo and Sanusi.

          • emmanuel

Soludo is worse than Emefiele please he copied NEEDS documents from the internet, bamboozled Obasanjo with it as a laudable project and the Chimp saw him as a star, he thought he had seen a wizkid who helped Nigeria Banks go under ground and said we were insulated from 2008 meldown.
I beg, make we hear word – his NEEDS proposal was daubed, if i lie, go read through it.
Sanusi was a big fraud in CBN, who went there to steal and prepared himself to outs Bayero and take over – why is Seawolf a great pain to Nigeria economy today – Sanusi
Please tell me what he achieved in CBN other than sharing Nigeria money like Dasuki his brother?
Are you saying Sanusi had international exposure mere studying jihadism is Sudan? How come Kemi whp studied in a dveloped country cannot add 16+6?
Does my arguement of CBN Governors job not being a difficult one not sound now? With good Fiance Ministers, during the term of the last two crooks, we never knew how difficult it was to manage a nations economy until we had a phonetics nollywood woman

          • Gideon lomat

You are just a tribal bigot showing the frustration of your tribe as usual. You think Kemi is incompetent but believe Emefiele is doing fine?! What a big shame on you ethnic bigot!

      • Kamalu

You have very cogent points particularly about the quality of the people driving the economy. The expectation is that PMB should shove the politicians aside and replace them with visionary hardcore technocrats in the coming week and months. He has paid the politicians that helped him ascend the throne enough. He should devote the next two and half years to serve Nigerians. I know he still possesses the character to redeem his hobbling image

        • emmanuel

Buhari is worse than all of bad PDP guys , current inept APC members and his economic team put together.
Nothing good would come out of the worse enemy of modern day Nigeria – Alhaji Bingo
Bring Bernanke and Jack welsh from his retirement to turn around Nigeria as a team, the economy will still head up to depression

        • Jujubeans

Indeed! When a policy is so very flawed to the point of craziness, it can only mean 1 thing….Corruption! The northern/Daura Mafia are feeding fat off the backs of ordinary Nigerians due to the round tripping that’s enabled by the gap in the forex official and black markets.

        • Political ninja

go back to 1983 google thw documentary on his overthrow you will know this man has no image to redeem. when enters things go bad, people go hungry.

    • thusspokez

The truth is that 16years rot by PDP cannot be wipe away in few months

Blame the PDP by all means but as an opposition party, what opposing, if any, did the APC do?

Isn’t it the role of an opposition party to hold the governing party accountable to the public. Yet no one heard from the APC when it was in opposition. Compare the APC then to the PDP now even in its current chaotic state. It still manages to hold the Buhari government accountable.

      • emmanuel

Not minding harassment using all government apparatus to blackmail them into submission. The Gestapo, APC Government is in its last days as feelers everywhere is that of hate by majority of Nigerians.
We await the rigging strategy that will save them in Edo. Step out of the Federal Roads in Benin City and you see pains and deceit

Sad to put it so but it takes a Yoruba person to give up the supposed ‘calling of God’ to go on full time open service to propagate the work of Satan -Nigeria!

  • Kamalu

I share in your optimism and work plan Mr. VP. However Nigerians are eager to see some of the rogues who brought us to this silly state go behind bars as soon as possible because to continue to allow them walk the aisle freely gives the moral lesson that it pays to steal and they will continue to pollute the hardwork at redemption which your team is consciously devoted to.

    • emmanuel

Buhari as Commissioner of Petroleum in the seventies, in his capacity as chief thieveing officer for Abacha at PTF (what took Bode George to jail was exactly what Buhari did for Abacha at PTF), Amaechi, Fashola, Fayemi, Oshomole, Kwankwaso, Saraki, Atiku, Buhari in his bribe for vote Presidential primaries, Aisha Buhari in Haliburton scam and CBN FX for conversion at mallams shop scam -All must head to jail along with their contemporaries in the PDP. Anything short of that is fraud

      • Kamalu

Wait until he vacates the throne. Mr. Buhari is the man of the moment and he will have his turn to face justice if truly he committed any crime against the country. Nigerians will not take your APC bait again. You are telling us in essence that by 2018 APC will intensify their lies propaganda as a campaign tools for 2019 election, you guys are dead on arrival with this useless calculation.

Can we for once know why when you decamp from PDP to APC you become a saint and your sins are forgiven? Also can we also know where APC got their election funding from as we already know PDP stole from us, note they (APC and PDP) both spent heavily during the 2015 elections? Thirdly, can we atleast know what is happening to the MTN fine? Finally, can we know a clear economy plan for Nigeria giving us a possible forecast of what we should expect in the coming months?
