A former governor of the old Anambra State, Jim Nwobodo, who admitted receiving N100million from former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, on Friday dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for the ruling All Progressive Congress.

He defected to the APC in Enugu alongside a former senator, Fidelis Okoro, representing Enugu North, and another chieftain of PDP, Richard Ozobu.

They were received into the APC at the party’s meeting convened by Foreign Affairs Minister, Jeffrey Onyeama.

The meeting was attended by the state party chairman, Ben Nwoye, other members of the state executive and APC’s national vice chairman, South-East, Emma Eneukwu.

Mr. Nwobodo, also a former PDP senator representing Enugu East between 1999 and 2007, and a former sports minister, is currently under investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for receiving N100 million from Mr. Dasuki, who allegedly diverted $2.1billion meant for arms purchase, to politicians.

The former governor has since denied that the money was for his personal use, claiming that it was meant for the PDP leaders in the South East zone to mobilize support for the re-election of former President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 election.

  • True Nigerian

    Utter nonsense!

  • S. A. Maigari

Sooner than later, the APC will be more PDP than PDP – and you know what that means!

    • Ogom

That’s what people said when Atiku joined APC, but the man was simply neutralised and parked in a corner where he remains till today.

      Nwobodo is fooling himself.

      • PolyGon2013

You got it. PMB already told them to remain in their party.

  • share Idea

Nigerian politics is getting interesting. Everybody will now join APC and Buhari will enjoy governance.

  • SAM .A

Cunning man die , cunning man go bury am , this man is full of ‘wayo’. He thinks by carpet crossing at this time will wipe away allegation that he collected money from Santa Dasuki.
This was the man who used a consultant in General Hospital Lagos to hide in male surgical ward faking illness approved by his tribal Doctor in I984/85. When people like Pa Ajasin . Professor Ambrose Ali were locked up in jail, he was enjoying himself at night. This time if and when he is indicted , he must spend the whole years in jail , Jail Doctor can treat his clinical problems . No more hanky panky.

    • TrueNja

Jagaban Tinubu also collected money from Jonathan and DSS in 2011 and we have not seen EFCC running after him.

      • Julius

Let his name comes out. You ranting that daily wont make it true. Write to EFCC and stop foaming in the mouth about Tinubu. If and when his name pop out with this mess , I’ll join you in calling for his prosecution. Until then, save you blood pressure from jumping up !

    • Julius

Thats Ibo man for you ! lolz. Chei, he thinks jumping to APC will safe him ? Na lie. Buhari must be cracking up !

    • Otile

But Tinubu ati Fashola have already escaped Nigerian kind of justice, Mohamed’s brand of justice. You oduafraudians are a bunch of hypocrites. Nonsense

  • TrueNja

Wonders shall never end in Nigeria. Jim Nwobodo, former PDP South East and former PDP senator currently under EFCC corruption investigation for receiving N100M from Dasuki now defected to the APC. This mean that once you are in APC you can get away with corruption. PMB, PMB, PMB, how many times did I call you. Be very careful as Almighty God, we down trodden Nigerians who brought you in as President and the international community are watching you. What legacy are you leaving behind?

    • Paul Young

The same you has been shouting ‘rule of law’ and ‘innocent until proven guilty’. Assuming APC pronounced him guilty and refused him joining their party and published the news on premiumtimes you will say APC and buhari are dictators. My friend you are of double standards. For the avoidance of doubt anybody is free to join any political party they like, there is no law against that

    • PolyGon2013

Sorry, you do not know PMB. Nwobodo will have his day in court. Stay tuned.

    • Sir Demo

Saraki, Nyako joined APC and dem story you also know.

  • TAWANDA INCOMMUNICADO

Shameless moron,he has to cough out the stolen monies before the political prostitution . EFCC should pick him up ASAP !

    • Julius

hahahahaha. I thought that you said its only the Hausas and the Yorubas that shared the money. You dey see yourself so ?

      • TAWANDA INCOMMUNICADO

He is amongst the 2%,him, Metuh and Nduka.

        • Julius

Oh, now its by percentages ?. I got u !

        • Sir Demo

Madam Puff Puff, Oduah, Weremadu shd be added too

    • YK

So they should pick him up now. Thank you for that he will be picked up.

  • If you like fly into APC. If you are part of the goat that took our yam you must return it. PMB is not joking neither is he a party freak when it comes to corruption.

  • REDEEM

These Ibos are something else-U can never trust them to stand by the truth for once. Is it poverty that is making this man shameless jump from the Biafran war canoe to that of the Fulanis ati Yorubas–? All because of the lust for Money or what?—No integrity to protect?- Even after Buhari had insulted the Ibo Nation? Described them as insatiable people–what a shame!@wahala and his people–na waya for them——-Money na hand back na ground——————

  • ALBERT

The SE lack political strategists, architects but has in abundance political archeologists and parasites who lack the know how . capacity, skills to build any political organisation and transform it into a national brand. The SE lack politicians with any stamina, discipline to stay in any opposition. In spite of the fact most Ibo businesses are named either International or National ( Rangers International, Iwanyawu National) maybe based on their views, but no political party founded by any Igbo living or dead has ever become a national brand. The Ibo have alaways been political parasites to the Northern political establishment since 1954. The PDP a purely northern party and grandson of the Northern Peoples party, was founded and funded by the Northerners. At formation of the PDP, there were only 2 southerners ( Ekweume a product of NPN, and Bola Ige who left) After 1999 elections, the Igbo saw the PDP as an avenue and platform to rig or win power. Whilst PDP was in power, the SE did everything to stay with the PDP for political relevance and survival. Even Governors that defected and won elections on the platform of other parties immediately return to the PDP instead of building those parties. APGA was more an appendage of the pdp than an opposition party. The SE politicians after losing power at the centre and their traditional political ally- the North, floated the biafran stuff, and since it is fading and PMB not enthused, the only sad option for them, is to defect to the APC. There will be more defections in the coming months to the APC. Just 6 months after pdp losed power at the centre, the party cannot even pay salaries of its staff. The truth of the matter is that, the Northerners who used to fund the party have left and Igbos remaining as political parasites are not noted for funding such enterprise. Jim defection and others signal the announcement of the death of the PDP and Biafran agitations.

    .

    • Burning Spear

Good talk–The trouble with the Ibos is that they hardly ever build–they often depend on the sweats of others to make a name for themselves–What are the Ibos doing with APGA’?-The Yorubas erected the structures for the establishment of APC—The Ibos have no business- going about like beggars to plead with the Yorubas ati Fulanis, to allow them join APC—-Times the Ibos with their wealth are told to start behaving like real men–in the South East–The issue of the Ibos often chasing Fulanis about is over–Time they are told to learn from the mistakes Alex Ekweme and Co——–Is this how the Ibos intend to build Biafra-?—–Are they running away because the price of crude oil has gone down-?–The ibos have lost a golden opportunit in the politics of Nigeria–Rather than have them align with the South south to form a formidbale power block they are jumping about like orphans in search of their roots—what a shame

      • Jon Lawrence

I thought the likes of Rochas, Onu and Ngige are Igbos? Silly me

        • PolyGon2013

We reconstruct them to think like the progressives. Hope they stay that way.

        • Julius

Yes, they are and they are doing well. I know you know that but, being silly.

      • ALBERT

Have the Igbos build their ancestral homes? How many SE ex Governors, Senators, Ministers and politicians live in the SE? Orji Kalu handed over power in Lagos. Peter Obi left Anambra 2 hours after handing over power. What lessons can anyone learnt from someone like Ekweueme? Who transformed himself into an errand boy for Jonathan instead of playing the role of an elder statesman How can a former VP be playing sectional politics or belonging to regional groupings and doing the dirty job for a President, young enough to be his grand son. Is there any SGF in the history of Nigeria, that has mounted the campaign trail to campaign for any govt, except Anyim. How many prominent SW or Northern business men were seen traveling to other geo-political zones campaigning for any politician? Is there any COAS in the history of Nigeria, that retires and immediately signify interest to contest a Governorship election under the umbrella of the ruling party? The SS shall and will never go into any political alliance with the SE. There is no SE politician that could be trusted. and principled except the current minister of science and tech.

        • Sir Demo

You have said nothing but the truth. But Truth they said is bitter. What a nation of FIRST CLASS brains. But due to pettiness, Igbo nation has been reduced to political irrelevants. The history of Igbo nation is partly responsible for the slow evolution of responsive and responsible leadership culture. The other factor is the self serving complex nurtured into the youth right from birth. Which is due to the psychological trauma of the disasters of the civil war. But is it not time to move on? It will take time, but is it not time for the Igbo nation to elevate POSITIVE political values into their mainstream political?

The time to banish the Fayoses, FFKs, Odumakibs, Falaes, Mimikos, Bode Georges, Omisores and co and their political vulturism to the political fringe of the SE. And bring to the mainstream the Onus, Ngiges, Okorochas, Igbokwes, Enelamahs and co, and their people orientated ideologies.

The most ardent critics of OBJ are the Yorubas, even more that they harrassed Abacha. It is about Omoluabi philosophy and not ethnic affiliations or commonality. The north has shifted permanently, the Yorubas are cleaning up the political space to banish the vultures into nothingness! The core South South with the Amaechi, Keyamos, Dakuku, Umunah, Donald Duke, Ayade, Sylva, Akpabio, yes Akpabio etc are also transforming as always with the North. Time for Igbos too. God bless Nigeria.

        • Bayo

I read your post again and again.
          Kudos.

        • yukkmouff

You write quite well, but hate and bitterness is strong in you.

          • Sir Demo

Hate and bitterness? Not even implicitly! Truth is meant to be biting,

        • Sir Demo

Brilliant piece. Pls collate the pieces you posted into a short essay and sent it to Punch or Vanguard for bigger audience. I pray that the Igbos will read, critique and internalize the relevants. I read and read again the posts. Hope vanguard will enlist for a no hold no barring biting political column instead of space allocate to that FAKE PASTOR FEMI ARIBISALA.

      • yukkmouff

I really don’t get you Mr Spear, since when do you judge a people by the actions of a few desperate politicians. After all, the politicians in very our own region (South South) have been decamping to APC since Jonathan lost the election. Berate the politicians all you want, but please, leave the people in peace.

      • Otile

Shame on you and you Oduafraud friend, albert. Yeah, “… the trouble with the Ibos is that they hardly ever build – bla bla bla…” Who built PH, who built Eko, who built the ultra modern markets in Abuja? How did Oduduwa and Fulaniland raise so many fraudsters now ravaging Nigeria? As for deri orbuka the drunkard, you don’t count. You and your hopeless lineage drifted into Ijawland from Papua New Guinea. Nonsense

    • Ogom

      Ouch!

    • YK

You are very right but sadly you will be mobbed now.

    • PolyGon2013

Igbos are naturally stingy. I would expect them to rebuild PDP or expand APGA. They always run around. This is the first time that SW has aligned with the North politically. Papa Awolowo stated that Nigeria will be better when the progressives from Western Region aligned with the progressives from the North (and or across the rest of the country). The progressives in SE were snuffed out by the conservative ibos, and could not as a result be at the center. To make it worse for them, Hausa / Fulani will never align with igbo again. Thus, the only game changer in town are the Yorubas. O mase o. The hatred of the Yorubas by the ibos have actually killed the latter.

      • ALBERT

The Igbos by nature are a psychological insecure people. They are trained and brought up not to trust even their parents and love their neigbhours. They fear that their parents might used them for money rituals and hate their hosts for accommodating them. No matter how benevolent any host is to any Igbo man, he will always brainwash his children never to love their hosts. Can any Igbo tell us which tribes are their friends even their immediate neighbours? The Rivers and cross river man dislike the Igbos more than the Osun or sokoto person, It is a truism that, you can choice your friends but not your neigbhours. But it is interesting to note that, Cross River, Delta, Edo and River citizens residing in SE can conveniently fit into 5 luxury buses.. The SE is the only region with most of its rural communities almost 100% Igbos living there. There are several Igbo communities with no non Igbo living there. They are very hostile and very unaccommodating . The problem of the Igbos is further compounded by the growing number of semi illiterate men. The Ibos feel that, speaking or ability to express oneself in broken english means being educated. They failed to understand that, education means training and developing the mind and intelligence. That modern politics is all about competition of ideas, politics anchored on the power of persuasion rather than insults. No intelligent and trained mind will resort to insults, abuses as a weapon to respond to any inquiry, hypothesis or debate. The Yoruba have understood that, constructive engagement based on principles and morals are non negotiable. To wit, there is no Yoruba politician who romanced with Abacha against the Yoruba collective interest became politically relevant after Abacha`s reign. Even the once revered Jakande never recovered. But most of those who romanced with Abacha in other geo-political zones became king markers and key political players till date. Awo started this journey but was frustrated. MKO consummated this journey but the fruit was aborted by a combination of forces and blackmail between the North and Igbos who felt it was pay back time. You can imagine the support the Igbos including Ojukwu gave to Abacha whose sole agenda was to annihilate the Yorubas who were fighting for democracy and end of military rule. In 2015, the head of the progressives was rather coming from the North rather than from the SW. The forces were too strong and PMB as political figure was like a super tanker and tsunami. For the first time, we saw the conservatives defeated at the polls. The political paralysis and malaise is pushing the Igbos into political convulsion and epilepsy vomiting and swallowing their spit and emitting incoherent words like Biafra, marginalisation, give us juicy appointments, succession, Pdp, APGA , APC briiiii

        • PolyGon2013

          Thanks. I hear you.

        • Wale Bolodeoku

I am Yoruba, have lived among the Igbo in the SE of Nigeria, and can tell you categorically your blanket statements about the Igbo is good for propaganda, but sadly deficient in fact. When it comes to generosity the Igbo are a very generous people, the stereotype ‘aka-aradite’ associated with them has no truth in it whatsoever. They welcome strangers with open arms. My experience among them is that the Igbo exhibit a sense of responsibility to the well-being of the stranger in their midst. Yes, the politics of the Igbo, like it is everywhere, is first and foremost self-preservation. What we need at this time is not any vain triumphalism but consensus-building; not the alienation of an essential leg in our tripod of legs, and certainly, not ‘proofing’ that one tribe is superior to another. No matter how much we stretch it, there is no truth whatsoever in it.

          • Sir Demo

Your blanket statements of facts as well fly in the face of the truth. The Truth is distinct from the facts at times. It is s fact that there are non Igbos living and doing well in the SE. But it is also a fact that they are very very few and it a fact that this is due to the attitude of Igbos to non indigenes. That is a fact. It is factual that there are many Ibo women marry to Yorubas. But it is a fact thatigbo elites never hid their hatred and disdain to the Yorubas. Including Chinua Achebe.

It is fact that Anambra states has consistently aligned with the progressives camp since the second republic but it is also a fact that other Igbos rebuked and disdained them for doing so. These might seems to be contradictions on the surface but it is not, it is the signs of a nation still grappling with a political identity and a mainstream ideology.

To every Ogbonaya Onu, Joe Igbokwe, Nwa Chris Ngige, Owelle Rochas Okorocha and co there are thousands of Ben Obi, Metuhshela, Weremadu, Arthur Nzeribe, Inwuanyanwu, Achebe.

THE TRUTH IS THAT THE IGBO NATION HAS TO EVOLVE FASTER AND ENTRENCH TIME TESTED VALUES IN THEIR SOCIETY. The value attach to wealth no matter the source needs to be jettisoned otherwise looters, armed robbers, kidnappers, drug lords etc will turn the Igbo nation into another Mexico.

          • ilesanmi

I doubt you being a Yoruba. ALBERT has just said it all about the Igbos, I don’t even see any Igbo man who could sincerely contradict the view held by ALBERT.

          • Wale Bolodeoku

ILESANMI DUN JO’YE, what test will i need to pass to prove my Yoruba-ness? We can’t go far as a nation if we keep dividing ourselves along the fault lines of ethnicity and tribalism. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Do you get that?

          • YK

Are you new here to see people using pseudo names to drive home their points. Bolodeoku is one of them. As you have honestly said no Igbo man can sincerely deny these unarguable facts about Igbos as pointed out by Albert.

        • ilesanmi

          You have said it.
I can’s see any Igbo man who will honestly and successfully, argue any point raised in your comment.
However, what really saddens me is that an average Igbo adult knows the tribe’s weak points which have earned it hatred among other tribes in Nigeria. Rather than Igbo leaders try to arrest the situation by doing something, by the way of re-orientating the people for better inter-tribal relations both in politics, social and economic activities, which will help remove the damaging stigma on the Igbo people, they place priority on promoting Indigbo interests and installing Ezes of indigbo in their places of sojourn with utmost disregard to their hosts.

        • Jujubeans

I am proudly Igbo and believe in one Nigeria. I disagree that Igbos are psychologically insecure and trained not to trust their parents etc. On the contrary, we are trained to identify with, bond and work together with other Igbos, even though they might be strangers. We are raised to believe we are ALL brothers and sisters. And therein lies the problem. That is why you see many of us defending all kinds of thieves and rouges just because they are Igbo.
I totally agree that majority of our politicians are very short sighted and lack political strategy. Rochas Okorocha being the exception. Even Peter Obi who was personally groomed by Ojukwu for leadership of the APGA eventually decamped to the PDP. A shameful development that was roundly condemned by all right thinking Igbos.
I do agree that a huge part of our problem has been the abandonment of education by our people. Mostly men. The good news is that those uneducated men who become successful, mostly through trading or manufacturing, will always choose to have an educated wife. It’s kind of a status symbol. And as it’s said, an educated mother will always mean an educated child. So the lack of education is not typically perpetrated across the generations. I recognise that the children of the unsuccessful trader with the uneducated wife, remains a massive problem that must be urgently addressed by the SE governors who on the whole, have failed our people since 1999.

        • YK

You are mostly right in your assertion but we are always against the truth in Nigeria as we like deceit more than truth.

        • Otile

Oduafraudian, add your voice to the recent massacres we suffered at Onitsha kuma birnin Zaria. Why did you play dead when your Fulani master carried out atrocities on his enemies? You learned a lot from your grandfather, Thief Jeremiah Alibaba Awolowo. Pathetic.

      • YK

You are very correct. Igbos and Yorubas should have naturally be game changers in this country to checkmate the irredentist fulanis but Igbos would never agree because they like ready made food.

    • Julius

Thank you. They have the nerve to be calling other people parasites and slaves. They seems to forget there is something call history. Google parasite and you see the picture of an Ibo. Zik sold them as slaves to the Northerners. They always team up with the North in the political history of the this country. They do what the North command them to do to the south, especially to the south west. They think we forget. No, we dont.

    • Otile

Trash talk, get a life, Oduduwafraud.

  • Chuks

Jim ‘prison’ Nwobodo is married to corruption. Buhari government jailed him in 1984 for 120 years. if he had remained there he would not have been caught again. Now he is going back there to reunite with his constituency. Jim is one person that can tell you Buhari is not joking. His decamping to APC is only to reduce his prison sentence or to serve at Enugu where his wife will have access to colour his hair and bleach his face weekly.

    • Son Of Naija

Chuks , You no go kill me O !!!! Laugh wan finish me for here !

    • Sir Demo

Chuuuuukkss stop I beg stoppppp! U go kill person o. I dey office na, no fit laff out, and nearly chocked myself to death in the process. Jimmy Jimmy! I no blame you jare? Kuje na hotel?

    • ilesanmi

Lol. Chucks, you are a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddddd guy

    • Julius

      lolz.

Oh boy you wicked oh haba

    • Screw-em

Damn!!!….@Chucks, you sure say you be ibo man?……Hillarious!!!

    • Burbank

      LWKMD

  • javscong javscong

Na wa…..o!!!! Suddenly our Igbo brethren are decamping. First I read about Ekwunife and now it is Nwobodo. These people are not capable of adding value to APC. As a matter of fact, they are toxic and must be stopped from coming into APC because they will poison that party. Jim Nwobodo collected N 100 million to promote Jonathan and in the process he and the others poured invective on Rochas Okorocha for supporting Buhari and being an unrepentant APC stalwart.

    • YK

This is what will open the eyes of the Igbo youths that these men whether Hausa or Igbo or Yoruba are the same. Now odor and Ekwunife have joined the one time boko haram party now. God is patient oh.

      • Julius

I have been saying that forever !. The elites are all the same. They get together , take care of themselves and their families. Their children marry each other, goes to school overseas, go on vacations together, They send poor children to protest and get killed. Case in point, the recent biafraud protests. Nonsense !

        • YK

Now they are seeing Biafraud is not working because Buhari is not perturbed about the blackmail. Why must the youths who have nothing to eat be instruments to these rogues still beats my reasoning.

          • Julius

What they do is find some touts, give them money and they will get those boys together, smoke weed and protest. Half of the time, some dont even know what they are protesting about .Its shameful. I saw one being interview by a reporter on why he was protesting, he said we want separation, the reporter ask why and he said I no know, I cant tell you. Imagine that .

          • YK

You are right they were the same people they hired to go and protest against Buhari when he appeared at Chatham House in London. One of them a lady was asked why they were protesting she said she didn’t know that they just mobilized them there to protest.

          • Julius

Gbam… For all to see. This is why I said this agitation for biafra is a fraud, a scam. Now kanu is on his own. Typical !!

          • Burbank

Gbam…that video still on YouTube, for eternity.

          • YK

I have asked consistently without answers why it has always been Igbos the power that be always use for hatchet job. They are always friends to any sitting government no matter how bad the government is. They were with Abacha as dreaded as the man was the latest was GEJ despite his cluelessness they stayed glued to him why??????

    • PolyGon2013

No, it is not suddenly. ibos have always wanted to align with the center. They have been doing that since independence. As for Rochas, he lived outside of ibo land and had learnt something about consistency. That is why I will vote for this man, if he is ever selected to be APC presidential candidate in future. Kudos to Rochas Okorocha. Sai Rochas.

      • Peter_Edo

        Rochas had foresight!

        • Otile

Alhaji Rochas ati Ogbeni Rotimi Oyenusi be traitors. Wetin kind foresight be that?

          • Burbank

The foresight of welcoming PDP looters into APC so that when Ibrahim Magu jailed them, PDP cannot say PDP members are being persecuted.
            Ask Saraki.

      • Julius

Yes, me too. I will vote for him in a second. He was telling the Ibos during the campaign about not putting their eggs in one basket and the need to support Buhari but, they called him all sorts of names. They even called him a Yoruba man pretending to be Ibo. Now, they are decamping to APC. I guess the biafraud enterprise has ran out of money and steam. Typical Ibos !. Na so oooo.

        • yukkmouff

So you’d actually vote for an Igbo presidential candidate? Last year you condemned the whole race and said they were cursed. What has changed?

          • Julius

I condemned the fake/fraudulent Ibos who lost out when Jonathan lost the re-election and suddenly remember biafra. I said I would and still will vote for uncle Joe as the next governor of Lagos State and any reasonable Ibo man or woman to be the president of the country. Just like from any other tribe. Get your facts straight and stop being silly.

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to rattle your cage so early in the New Year. Its just that in your blanket condemnation of the Igbo race you should have made a distinction between the “fake/fraudulent Ibo” and the original ones; that way silly people like me won’t get confused and call you a BIGOT in the process.

          • Julius

I do have Ibos in my family. I just hate the fake loud mouths of every tribes..including in my family.

          • yukkmouff

            Well said, thank you!

      • Otile

Defecting to Islamic APC saved Imam Kwankwaso, Fashola & Tambuwal, so Nwobodo is free to join hips with his Fulani Yoruba thieving counterparts. Are you now going to discriminate against him because he is from east of the Niger?

        • Burbank

We welcome any looters into the APC so that when EFCC DSS arrested them, PDP is denied the opportunity to say Buhari is witch-hunting PDP members only!
          Ask Saraki

          • Otile

Has any APC chieftain be sentenced, when and where? You know very well that Imam Mohamed Buhari is rewarding his friends and punishing his enemies.

Dasuki is being tormented today because he exposed Imam’s corrupt practices in the 80’s and you know it.

          • Burbank

Has any PDP chieftain been sentenced?

  • Fadama

Medicine after death. My advice is for you to ask the Metuhs and Dasukis of the dos and donts in their current abode. You are better off learning and getting yourself acquainted the norms rather than switching parties. This way, things don’t appear new when you eventually take up a room next to theirs. You may start first by cutting down on your daily meal courses because I hear that “hunger strike” is one of the dos.

  • This is good news for PDP. The useless political prostitutes are going home to APC where they belong. 95% of APC are the the same recycled political vermins that PDP have tried to get rid of. They have no good ideological value to humanity except their stomach. PDP is now sanitized and ready for a resurgence in 2019.

    • Sir Demo

      Who now remain for PDP?

      • Burbank

Even GEJ and Patience will be APC members soon.

    • Ogbeni Leke Olowe

Hahahahahahaha. He’s no longer a biafraud general again. Lobatan.

    • band olu

Stop fooling urself & living in denial, what u are seeing is d beginning of d extinction of d party called PDP….They are no longer relevant in modern day Nigerian politics. They are crumbling & it is better for those remaining in d party to leave now b4 it crumbles on them……D only ideology PDP has is that of looting & bad governance….

      • ilesanmi

The ‘forced’ mass defections of PDP members to APC will quicken a devastating implosion in the APC, which will see different elements constituting APC to go their different ways before 2019.

        • band olu

I believe APC will only grow stronger,Nigerian politicians are all d same, d difference between APC & PDP is d leadership. PDP had a clueless & bad leader especially in d last 6yrs who encouraged impunity & saw nothing wrong with corruption & if u can’t beat them u join them hence most of those in d party were corrupt bcos they knew they will get away with it.Also PDP had been in power for too long that they became complacent & thought they will remain in power for d next 50yrs…Those leaving PDP for APC will have to change bcos they will b under a new leadership who will not tolerate nonsense…

        • Burbank

Easier for Ibrahim Magu to handle “PDP-to-APC” looters instead of “witch-hunting” PDP members.

      • The political maggots are returning home to APC where they belong. They almost destroyed our political system. PDP is now poised for a resurgence. We’ll return Nigeria to a democracy in 2019.

        • band olu

Dream on……..By d time u wake up from ur dream PDP will b gone….

        • Chuks

You’ll return Nigeria to PDP lootocracy? Holy Ghost fire take control and rebuke George.

        • Burbank

“We’ll return Nigeria to a democracy in 2019.”
Take your time; 2099 is still a long way.

    • Burbank

“PDP is now sanitized and ready for a resurgence in 2019.”
If there is still any member left after Magu is through.

      • Obviously you don’t understand how democracy works. When people have the rights (civil, constitutional and human)they will do justice. . Our rights as human beings were restored in the last 6 yrs. 1000 Buharis and his Gestapo cannot change that. Buhari cannot take that away again like he did many years ago. We are now in a state of emergency and on the cusp of anarchy. Buhari’s lawlessness has turned our nation into a joke.

        • Burbank

Buhari’s discipline has turned Nigeria into a respected nation, unlike GEJ when even the US sanctioned Nigeria.

          • Nigeria was sanctioned for human rights violations of Boko Haram, because of the relentless accusations of our military by Buhari and the Arewa Elders. Get that right. Even now, Nigeria cannot access lethal military weapons from the US.

          • Burbank

The sanction was imposed when Jonathan was president, not Buhari

  • Your Biodun

Keep the EBOES out of APC..These are poisons.

  • Sir Demo

Dis one pass my understanding o. Nwobodo? Where is our National Stadium generator first of all? The N100 million nko? Joining APC will not save you from Magu o. Ask Jafar Isa, Saraki, Murtala Nyako.

    • Ogbeni Leke Olowe

Sir Demo, na so o. Joining APC will not save him o. First vomit our yamand return our generator.

    • Otile

Defecting to Islamic APC saved Imam Kwankwaso, Fashola and Tambuwal. Remember

      • Burbank

Islamic APC under John Oyegun or Islamic PDP under Ahmed Gulak?

        • Otile

Are you the only stranger in town? Don’t you know that under Islamic APC if you are not a fanatic Muslem or a non-Muslim for that matter, they party will either use you or punish you. Junaid Oyegun and Ahmed Gulak can tell you that. Huh.

          • Burbank

And PDP is under a non-muslim Ahmed Gulak?

          • Otile

Ogbeni, you still don’t get it. APC is the scourge of God in Nigeria.

          • Burbank

Is PDP is under a non-muslim Ahmed Gulak?

      • Sir Demo

        From what?

        • Otile

          From corrupt practices, of course.

  • favourtalk

They will pay for that which they did o Nigeria none of them will escape the Justice, they are just another bunch of thieves trying to find a good ground, they will be charged to court soon

    • Otile

But Tinubu ati Fashola have already escaped Nigerian kind of justice, Mohamed’s brand of justice. What a bunch of hypocrites!

      • Burbank

Tinubu went through CCT and acquitted from ALL charges.
And there is not a single case against Fashola.
        Next?

        • Otile

Of course, with Islamic kind of justice would you expect to see Alhaji Tinubu or Alhaji Fashola in prison? How do you justify your Islamic justice whereby a woman is raped lame and impregnated, yet your alkalis will demand that she produces 4 eyewitnesses who watched her raped before they can believe her. Islamic justice system is absurd, and you know it.

          • Burbank

Tibnubu was tried and acquitted under GEJ presidency.
            Get the facts right.

  • New Nigerian

Now that Jim has joined APC, it should make it easy for him to cooperate better with EFCC without the pdplutocrats shouting “decimation of the opposition at play”. N100m of the commonwealth shared to Jim is no chum change – It need to be recovered and Jim can run for APC leader-in-prison once justice is fully served

    • Burbank

      Good points.

  • JasV

This is unfortunately one of the reasons why our biafraud brothers are sometimes not taken seriously. This is why they will claim that APC is the same as PDP, no change whatsoever. Why will this crook be welcomed by a Federal Foreign Minister if he himself is not a crook. Demonstrate some iota of principle, decorum, shame please. You should have asked this common felon to report in his ward and be received by the chairman and secretary of that ward. ON BEHALF OF APC, I apologize for what this so called foreign minister and APC South East have done. That is not what we are, that is not what we are made of and we will make amend.

  • Dominic Jaja

    Shameless!!!

  • Burning spear

It is really sad that my highly respected friend—-the Minister of FOEREIGN AFFAIRS who has never been involved in Nigerian dirty politics-for once—would now yearn to soil his clean name in this shameful act of Jim Nwobodo-what a country!

    • citizenka

Common no yearning he just did it.

  • Burning spear

It is really sad that my highly respected friend—-the Minister of FOREIGN AFFAIRS who has never been involved in the dirtyNigerian politics-for once-in his life–would now yearn to soil his clean name in this shameful act of Jim Nwobodo-what a country!

  • John Christian Alex

I hope That federal foreign minister hadn’t just signed his own sack letter.

  • Maria

I have always known igbos as cowards…. these folks are nothing but jesters. APC keep these yibos out of your party….they are cancerous.

    • Otile

Smelly Cunt, e gbo mi nko?

      • Maria

        That is your mother.

        • Otile

Why is it that whenever the question of your smelly cunt comes up you retort “…your mother”? Are you going to blame your mother for the rest of your life?

  • Otile

Smelly Cunt, stop hiding under the image of Our Blessed Virgin to insult your enemies.

  • Burbank

If Jim Nwobodo became an APC member just to escape Buhari’s whip for corruption, it will not work.
    Ask Saraki.

    • Oh!

Saraki is a special case. He decamped to APC and wuru-wuru’d his way into the senate Presidency.
Buhari cautioned him and said: Kai Mallam, how far?
Saraki looked at Buhari and said: ALhaji, just allow me o!
and Buhari replied: Allah ya isa!

For those who don’t know, if a Hausa man tells you “Allah ya isa” (God is able), you drop everything and get the hell out of there!

      • YK

Lolzzzz…oh man you wicked oh. Drop everything and get hell out of there. You are right I was a victim of that statement in 1995 in Abuja when I thought Mallam no get sense because of our growing up orientation that mallams were mumu.

  • Maria

    Igbos have betrayed Jonathan.

    • Otile

Smelly cunt, leave Dr Jonathan alone. He handed power to your Fulani master last year. Focus on your master Imam Mohamed Buhari. Under Jonathan Nigeria was the economic powerhouse of Africa, under your master Imam Mohamed Nigeria has borrowed too much money to improve the North. You are a very dishonest transvestite.

    • Emmanuel Maduagwu

God forbid. Nothing like that has happened or will ever happen. As for Jim’s betrayal, the late original Owelle of Onitsha will surely turn in his grave if and when he hears the rot. Oh God, what is happening to my people!

      • Maria

        Ekwunife defected to APC…lol!

  • Nazerine

Now Nwobodo is a saint and progressive.

  • egoigwe

Oh Jim… How are the mighty fallen???

  • Joe

    Jim is looking for #APCimmunity

  • Emmanuel Maduagwu

Shame to Old Loyalist JIM and Shame also to my dear cantankerous Fidelis, a one time compatriot at UI Ibadan. How are the mighty fallen!

  • Tom Nwafor

Please don’t blame Jim. He is only being wise. Joining the APC is the only way he could escape public disgrace. Or don’t you know that only APC members are the SAINTS we have in this country now? Has Jim not suffered enough? Let him join and have some respite! After all what is good for the goose is also good for the gander. Chikena.
