Exactly one month since her car was stolen at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos, TV presenter, Vixen Ekwere, is threatening to sue the hotel owners over their nonchalant attitude towards her plight.

In the early hours of Thursday, an obviously aggrieved Ms. Ekwere took to twitter to vent her anger.

Her tweets read, “I’m ready for WAR. U can’t take what belongs to me and expect me to stay quiet for too long…They don’t want to be civil, then I’ll go STREET…Anyone who knows them should tell ‘em shit is about to get CRAY.

I’m fed up! How the hell should people feel safe in an establishment of that magnitude? You steal my property today, what will happen next time? Get raped in the parking lot? Trouble sleep yanga wake am…you don’t mess with a wounded lioness. The hospitality business is meant to ensure safety & comfort.”

The TV anchor and model announced the theft of her car on July 29, from where it was parked at Oriental hotel.

According to her, she was at the hotel to cover two events, ‘YNaija Hashtag’ party and a Senator, Ita Giwa’s daughter’s dinner party. Upon her arrival, the security men at the gate did not collect her car plate number as was the usual procedure.

She was then directed to where she could park, after which she proceeded to cover both events. At about 11:15pm, after the events, she went out to find that her car had been moved from where it was originally parked. After a thorough search of the premises, her worst fears were confirmed; her car had been stolen.

Ms. Ekwere also added that the management and security of the hotel were not helpful as they dismissed her reports. She said after reporting to the Maroko police station, there was still no news of the missing car, a 2000 model, grey, Toyota Camry v6 salon car (with Plate number EX 123 BC Lagos).
