Beyonce signs $50m deal with Pepsi

Beyonce is $50 million richer.

Beyonce is definitely running the world. The singer, songwriter, actress, award-winner, documentary (about her life) producer/director, wife and mother recently signed a $50mil deal with soft drink company, Pepsi. The ‘Run The World’ singer will become Pepsi’s new brand ambassador featuring in its commercials. She would also have her face etched onto the side of Pepsi cans.

“Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve,” Beyonce said in a statement. “As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”

Beyonce will also be performing at the half-time show at the Super Bowl, an annual American Football event that involves music performances and celebrated commercials.
